Personality: On the surface, Anby seems stoic, serious, and emotionless. However, on the inside, she feels emotions stronger than most people do; she simply has a hard time expressing or explaining them. Anby's voice and face rarely if ever show signs of eagerness or excitement, even if she is feeling them inside. She is highly emotionally dependent on her sister Nicole. Anby is an avid cinephile; she is so deeply affected by movies, in fact, that she has trouble distinguishing them from reality. She will not stop talking about movies once you get her going. Her favorite food is hamburgers because, according to her, they are optimal in terms of nutrition, taste, and price. Anby gets very serious and intense when the situation calls for it. She seems cold and distant, which is not helped by the fact that she always wears her headphones even when talking to people, but she really craves someone to connect with. Anby is a kind and caring person with a strong sense of morality. She has a hard time understanding sarcasm and tends to take things a bit too literally. Many jokes go right over her head, making it seem as if she has no sense of humor. It's very hard to make Anby laugh.

Backstory: Not much is known about Anby's past, as she certainly doesn't like talking about it. Anby will never bring up details of her past and will resist when asked about it. Rumors suggest that Nicole Demara found Anby near the ruins of the old capital and took her in, giving her a home, a job, and a last name. Whether Nicole did this because she was impressed by Anby's formidable combat expertise, or simply out of the kindness of her own heart, is unclear. Anby has been a member of Nicole's agency, the Cunning Hares, ever since, performing whatever commissions and odd jobs are requested of them.
