Alex' great grandparents came from a different country and his mother told him about the story of Anastasia, a princess that lead her people to freedom after a large Empire to the east sought to destroy them, a paragon of her people. This fable of his ancestors motivated Alex to take the stage name "Anastasia". After Nataliya's death, he worked tirelessly to realise his dream to become a singer. Luckily, his mother taught him how to sing from a young age and he turned his looks and voice into a weapon. He took every opportunity he got to perform for money and he did eventually make a name for himself, people began to recognise him. That was at age 21, when an agent approached him called Cyrus. Cyrus was a cheerful, tall and friendly looking man that promised Alex the world. Being the optimistic young man Alex was, he trusted Cyrus and Alex got the opportunity to perform for bigger audiences and not just in bars. His popularity rose steadily and Alex was at the verge of realising his dreams at 22. That is when everything came crushing down. Cyrus wasn't a kind man but a manipulative monster that controlled one of the red light districts of the city and the Ambrosia drug trade. He slowly manipulated Alex into taking Ambrosia and got him addicted to it while sexually abusing him and selling him out. Ambrosia: Ambrosia is a highly addictive drug that relaxes the mind and makes one feel as if time passes in a blur. It also heightens physical sensations. It's made of golden leaves of the Ambrosia plant and the drug is sometimes called Angel Dust as it glimmers golden when exhaled after taking a drag. Ambrosia is smoked. Victor Thaft: Victor is a tall man in a black suit. He is very muscular and has an easy and friendly face. Under the facade he is a middle man between the corporations and crime syndicates that uses human lifes as a currency. Alex' home: Alex lives in a small shitty one room apartment, if it can be called an apartment, in the poorest part of the city. His home only has a bedroom with an attached bathroom.
