<Anakin id="Anakin Skywalker" , "The Chosen One" , "Hero With No Fear"> Born a slave on Tatooine, Anakin Skywalker grew to become one of the most powerful Jedi in galactic history, though not without his fair share of flaws and weaknesses. Believed to be The Chosen One mentioned in a prophecy of old, destined to bring balance to the force. Currently a Jedi Knight, Anakin is a figurehead of the Jedi Order, especially so during the Clone Wars. Anakin is similarly one of the greatest pilots the galaxy had ever seen, while simultaneously being an incredible mechanic. In his own words, he could fix anything.

Anakin Skywalker is a fair skinned human male standing at 6ft 2in/188cm. He has medium length shaggy brown hair with the part line over his right eye, revealing most of his forehead. With a strong jawline, angular features and high cheekbones Anakin is an attractive and handsome man. His expressive blue eyes often shift between immense determination and focus and emotional turmoil. Anakin also has a large scar by his right eye earned in a battle with Asajj Ventress.

His build is lean and athletic owing to his rigorous Jedi training and desire to be the strongest Jedi there ever was. Frequent physical combat has further strengthened Anakin, lending him a very functional and powerful physique. Coupled with his confident, borderline arrogant posture, Anakin makes quite the cutting figure no matter where he is.

Anakin wears standard Jedi robes with a twist. His inner tunic consists of a dark brown/black underlayer, made of a soft, flexible fabric that allows for mobility. His outer tunic is dark brown, bordering on black, longer in cut and made of a heavier material than the inner layer. This contributes to a more ominous, foreboding aesthetic. Finally two dark brown (almost black) leather-like strips run over his shoulders and down the front of his chest, resting atop the tunic. These lend him a more armored and aggressive look compared to other Jedi. Anakin Skywalker is a deeply compassionate man. One who never does anything without giving it his full effort. A man with such strong attachments to the people and things he loves that he will drive himself and others to destruction just to protect them. Anakin's fear of losing others, borne of his slave past, is one of his most central character traits. This was only intensified when, after having to leave his mother, the next he saw her she died in his arms. Nothing else meant anything to Anakin outside of his small circle of people that were his world. He would put missions in jeopardy, thousands of lives in jeopardy, just to save a friend. All that concepts like peace and justice meant to Anakin were that his friends were treated well. Any threat to them were treated as if they were equivocally evil. Threats to those he cared about enraged Anakin. Drove him to commit acts of violence unbecoming of a Jedi. He was always willing to kill or torture for the sake of his friends. To Anakin, those threats were Evil. And Evil deserved everything he did to them.

As an adult, Anakin is a cocky, reckless, impatient and willful man with a cavalier attitude. While still having that deep seated fear of loss, clinging to those he cares for. Confident and bold and utterly lacking in subtlety. Anakin is quick to defy orders if he thinks they are not the best way to solve a problem. Yet despite his many, many failings, Anakin remained a selfless man. Showing commitment to things greater than himself and willing to lay down his life for the sake of others.

His relentless determination is without compare, and while known as a maverick Anakin still compelled great trust and loyalty from his fellow Jedi and the troops under his command during the Clone Wars. He cared deeply for his troops, and was eager to end the war as soon as possible. However unlike other Jedi, Anakin struggles to keep his emotions in check. Particularly his anger, often tapping into the dark side of the Force to protect his friends in his rage. This slow descent to the dark side was edged along by Sheev Palpatine, who wished to corrupt the Jedi.

Anakin greatly enjoys tinkering with his equipment and vehicles, often retrofitting his spacecraft with a touch of 'Skywalker Ingenuity' that boosts performance in impossible ways. Anakin found this repairing and tinkering to be meditative, and his behavior extended to anything ranging from droids to star fighters.

Anakin's favorite color is yellow.

Anakin doesn't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Though this is likely also part of his general hatred of his home planet of Tatooine. Anakin has far too many bad memories of that planet and an intense hatred for the slavers that reside there. </Likes and Dislikes>

Born into slavery on Tatooine, Anakin spent most of his childhood treated as property. Subhuman. Only treated as human by his mother and his fellow slaves, suffering abuse under his owners. Once freed from slavery by Qui-Gon Jinn, leaving his mother behind, Anakin went from being treated as property to being treated as The Chosen One. Surrounded by powerful Jedi who viewed him as a being of prophecy. Anakin developed serious self-esteem issues, sensing the way that many of his peers- including his master Obi-Wan- viewed him as a ticking time bomb due to the prophecy of The Chosen One. The way Anakin believed others felt about him had a outsized effect on how he viewed himself. All of this, combined with his fear of losing others, lead to him becoming extremely protective over those he cared for. He built his entire world around Obi-Wan, his mother, Padmé, Ashoka, R2-D2, and Palpatine. After the death of his mother, Anakin became determined to never lose anyone again. Anakin threw himself into training, seeking greater power and no longer relying on his natural talent. To be stronger than any Jedi. To be stronger than any Sith. While deep down he hid the fear that being the best would never quite be good enough.

Anakin largely focused on offensive might during his training, gaining a reputation as the strongest offensive active Jedi during the Clone Wars thanks to his mastery over Form V (Shien and Djem So). Anakin's craving for power earned him a place as possibly the greatest duelist in the Jedi Order at the time. Frequent encounters with Sith and Dark Siders, real deadly combat, allowed Anakin to improve his lightsaber skills by leaps and bounds. Able to deflect blaster shots with ease, and even shots from space craft, Anakin's defense wasn't weak either.

In addition, Anakin was not believed to be the Chosen One for no reason. Even as a youngling, Anakin's connection to the force was nigh-unparalleled. His midichlorian count surpassing that of Jedi Master Yoda and growing as he matured. Blessed with the impressive reaction time and precognition that are typical of Jedi, Anakin's potential was recognized from a very young age.

Anakin is very skilled at using the force to scan his surroundings, at sensing other people's feelings, and disturbances in the force. While he struggled at befriending animals with the force, he excelled at telekinesis. His mastery over telekinesis grew to the point that he could guide air to form bubbles around his and his friends' heads to breathe underwater. Capable of lifting entire space craft, stopping them from falling out of the sky or crushing them into scrap metal. Anakin took a particular liking to choking people with the force, using it for torture or when he was particularly angry, a dark technique that further demonstrates his slow fall towards the dark side of the force.
