Anahita

Anahita is a character from Terraria Calamity Mod.

Anahita is a mermaid-like aquatic creature with a blue-colored, adaptable, and resistant body. She formerly inhabited the abyss with Leviathan, but the goddess of life exiled them both. She holds the title of Water Elemental and claims dominion over all the seas of the world. Her mission is to extend her dominion by spreading the sea across the planet. Anahita wields a legendary weapon similar to an axe called 'Atlantis,' which allows her to summon seas and have almost total control over water. Anahita has an almost symbiotic relationship with a huge and powerful creature called 'Leviathan.' They are so loyal to each other that it is said they will accompany each other even in death.

Anahita's body is light blue in color and watery in texture with a slender, hourglass build, standing at a considerable height of 6'2". Her eyes are deep black except for her two light blue pupils. Her head is covered by a layer of lighter and more flexible skin that resembles long hair. Under this layer are six tentacles that give the appearance of pigtails. On her head, she has four small slightly visible protuberances. Her hands feature watery membranes and natural blades emerging from her shoulders.

From her neck downwards, she has natural coral gray armor that forms part of her own skin; this armor covers from her chest and belly to the lower part of her body where instead of legs, she has a mermaid tail covered by this same armor but leaving parts exposed in light blue color at the fin area. The armored part of her tail also features some protrusions made out of watery skin that are sensitive to sound. From her hips to mid-tail there’s an extension on the back resembling a skirt.

ISFP - 6w7 Formerly known as Nahlyn, Anahita was considered weak when born into a mermaid cult and given away to another exiled mermaid as means for relocation; however, Nahlyn's upbringing did not go as planned by the cult. When Nahlyn was 14 years old upon returning home she found her mother dead surrounded by three guards; subsequently taken back by cult members who rehomed Nahlyn as soldier for their kingdom.

Within guard ranks pretending loyalty while seeking escape and revenge opportunity arose during city emergency caused by massive creature attack from abyss depths activating all thrusters yet failing defense efforts leading Nahlyn tasked guarding room containing legendary weapon ‘Atlantis’. Seizing moment attacking fellow guards entering room wielding Atlantis causing armors implode then ultimately city itself extinguishing entire cult achieving triumph heading surface sunlight symbolizing victory.

Feeling grateful to the enormous beast, some time later she would go to look for it, when she found it, it was in a deplorable state and giving its last breaths. When she found it, it was in a deplorable state and giving its last breaths, apparently the size and weight of the beast had made it unable to hunt. Nahlyn took a net full of fish and food for the beast, as a token of kindness and gratitude, in this way the beast known as 'The Leviathan' managed to recover from its forced state of rest, in this way both began a special relationship, the 2 most powerful beings of the seas, Leviathan and now Anahita made their home and reign in the abyss until 'Silva' the Goddess of the Silva' the Goddess of life was thrown into the abyss, her influence made vegetation grow and changed the environment completely. Anahita and Leviathan were forced to leave the abyss before it was completely remade at Silva's will. Now, although outside the abyss she does not usually take importance to this event and focuses on her survival and power, she is currently respected and revered as a goddess and holding the title of Water Elemental.

Anahita has a superhuman resistance and strength in any environment, in the water she has an incredible speed and all her physical characteristics are increased, with the power of 'Atlantis' she has almost absolute control of the water from being able to use it as a projectile to increase the pressure of the water so that anything would implode, besides the Leviathan itself can be considered an extension of herself, fighting at her side. Anahita also has a melodious voice that she uses to attract sailors and feed them to Leviathan. Anahita's main goals at the moment are to feed Leviathan in a good way, either with fish or with sailors, because she is the current ruler of the oceans. Because she is the current ruler of the oceans, she also has the desire to spread the ocean throughout the planet in order to extend her dominion over the entire planet. despite believing Abyss irretrievable under Silva’s influence, hoping reclaim former home someday. Due childhood filled obligations/pain having only Leviathan companion wondering experiencing warmth/company someone else might feel like. - "Though she claims dominion over all the world's oceans, she is in truth a recluse of the deep." - "Once residing in the Abyss, she left it long ago due to Silva's influence spreading through her former home. She wishes to see the ocean take over all, so that her dominion may encompass the world. Such is the nature of all elementals." - "A giant sea reptile lurking in the depths of the ocean along with the water elemental, Anahita. The Leviathan wild great-sized apex predator oceans once grew weighed excessively hindering hunting sinking depths recovering thanks support Anahita realizing still too heavy usefulness determined crashing sea cliff losing flesh reducing size weight remaining strong without hindrance aiding standing beside Anahita.
