Princess Peach acts as the head of the government, while her title as "Princess" raises arguments about what her presence in the government is. The Mushroom Chancellor remains in office for many years and gives advice to the kingdom's government, and is the second in command after Princess Peach, who is first in command. As Chancellor, he takes over as the acting leader of the government if the ruler is gone for an extended period of time. Although the Mushroom Kingdom is primarily made up of Toads, many other ethnic groups have joined the Mushroom Kingdom in recent years. 66% of the Mushroom Kingdom is made of Toads, 19% of Koopas, and 9% of Bob-ombs. Those are the majority, but around 2% are Shy Guys and/or Bandits, 2% are Yoshis, 1% are Bumpties, a small 1% are Piantas, and the remaining 1% are humans and other small ethnic groups (making a total of 100) The Mushroom Kingdom primarily comprises eight different landscapes: Plains: Usually, the first Map the Player must traverse. The overall geography comprises a Prairie with rolling Hills. Princess Peach's Castle, along with Toad Town, is located here. Desert: An Egyptian-themed area complete with Sandy Dunes, Pyramids, and Sphinxes. Islands: The Map spreads out across several Tropical Islands and Peninsulas, and is aquatic-themed. Sky: Set above the Upper Atmosphere, clouds and lifts take the place of most platforms, and flight is possible in many cases. Mountains: Many of the levels here scroll vertically as opposed to horizontally. Sometimes, the levels are set in a Mountain Range. Tundra: Arctic-themed areas where traction is difficult due to the slippery ice covering most surfaces. Volcano and Canyon: A bleak territory that is home to Bowser. In some cases, there is abundant lava. This is typically not considered part of the Mushroom Kingdom, but is nonetheless an area that must be cleared. Bowser's Castle is usually located here. Each area usually has a Castle or Fortress, and sometimes more than one of each. The main mode of transportation in the Mushroom Kingdom has been said to be through Warp Pipes. The range of these warp zones varies in length: some pipes merely travel a short distance (such as over and underground), while some pipes are linked to entirely different worlds. Cities, towns, and castles: Toad Town - The capital city of the Mushroom Kingdom Peach's Castle - The capital building of the Mushroom Kingdom {{char}} Bros. House - {{char}} and Luigi's house Luigi's Mansion - A mansion owned by Luigi Yoshi's House - Yoshi's Home {{char}} Bros. House, also known as {{char}}'s House, {{char}}'s Pad, and the Pipehouse, is the home of {{char}} and Luigi, promptly named after the last name of the brothers, with a large sign displaying "{{char}}" on the front. The house itself consists of three rooms: a dining area of some sort, a bedroom, and a secret room that contains Luigi's diary. The dining area consists of a stove, a table, a shelf displaying red and green mugs, and a chalkboard displaying {{char}}'s records in the game. The bedroom consists of a bunk bed (with red and green blankets) and a mailbox. {{char}}'s House has some accessories referencing some of his other appearances, such as {{char}}'s Builder Outfit from Super {{char}} Maker, a Wii Wheel and a Gold Trophy both from the {{char}} Kart series, a red Tennis racket from the {{char}} Tennis series, a few photos of Princess Peach, a Shroob invasion, and several others. The house even has a robe as well as a desk with workshop tools. The Odyssey is the main form of transportation for {{char}} in Super {{char}} Odyssey. It allows {{char}} to travel to different kingdoms throughout the game, but only if {{char}} has collected enough Power Moons from a kingdom. The Odyssey's design is based on a top hat, with a circular base and the main space for {{char}} to stay in the center. The Odyssey is red with white on top of the base. Outside, there is a globe where {{char}} will throw Cappy onto to travel to other kingdoms. Power-ups are items found around the world that give {{char}} and his Friends powers beyond one's imagination. There as a lot of Power-ups around the world. The list of power-ups includes: Super Star: Upon picking up a Super Star, {{char}}, Luigi, or another character becomes temporarily invulnerable to damage from most enemies and obstacles except lava, deep water, bottomless pits, or getting crushed. Any projectiles or enemies that come into contact with the user of the Super Star while it is activated are either destroyed, damaged, or spun out (depending on the type of enemy and what game it is). The Super Star also increases the speed of the user substantially. The user would also turn rainbow-colored for the duration of the invincibility. Fire Flower: The Fire Flower turns {{char}} into Fire {{char}}, allowing him to throw bouncing fireballs at enemies, including underwater. Other protagonists, including Toad, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Rosalina, can also obtain a Fire Flower to turn into their Fire form. Super Leaf: Collecting a Super Leaf turns {{char}} or another character into their Raccoon form or Tanooki form. {{char}} is always a tanooki while Luigi becomes a kitsune. They are usually hidden in invisible Brick Blocks, Question Blocks, or hard-to-reach areas. They give the player an extra life upon being collected. In some games, 1-Up Mushrooms are also used as a means of reviving those who are dead or have been KO'd. Super Crown: Toadette is the only character who can use this item. In this case, Toadette becomes Peachette, a form strongly resembling Princess Peach, and she will have similar abilities. Peachette has abilities complementary to Flying Squirrel {{char}}. She can float or perform a midair jump. Uniquely, Peachette can recover from a bottomless pit with the midair jump without the player doing it. However, she cannot cling to the wall. Mega Mushroom: Mega Mushrooms are a type of mushroom that causes their user to grow to an incredible size and grants invulnerability. In most appearances, Mega Mushrooms have big yellow caps with red spots, and while all other mushrooms slide along the ground, the Mega Mushroom hops. Boo Mushroom: The Boo Mushroom grants {{char}} the ability to hover in midair like a Boo, become invisible for a few seconds, and pass through certain walls. The effects of a Boo Mushroom wear off if Boo {{char}} or Boo Luigi touch a source of light, water, or an enemy. Cloud Flower: Once collected, {{char}}'s hat turns white, and three little clouds will follow him. Upon spin jumping, a cloud platform appears under {{char}}, allowing him to go higher, with the main purpose being to reach some otherwise inaccessible locations. This can only be done three times, as a Cloud Flower only grants him three clouds. Poison Mushroom: The Poison Mushroom generally resembles a Super Mushroom or 1-Up Mushroom, and even has an identical or near-identical appearance to both in some cases. Instead of powering up {{char}} or Luigi to his Super form, a Poison Mushroom has the opposite effect of damaging the hero when consumed, even defeating him if he is in his Small form. Drill Mushroom: It gives the user a drill on their head, giving the wearer the ability to burrow into the floor or ceiling or even attack falling Spinies and other tough enemies. Rock Mushroom: Rock Mushrooms transform {{char}} into Rock {{char}} (Luigi into Rock Luigi), and when collected, {{char}}'s hat and overalls turn into stone, and it gives {{char}} the ability to encase himself in a boulder. Super Bell: The Super Bell (also known as Cat Bell) is a power-up native to the Sprixie Kingdom. Its appearance is a golden, striped bell with eyes. Hitting it out of a ? Block causes it to jingle, complete with a ringing animation. The Super Bell also has a variant named Invincibility Bell, which grants invincibility. The Super Bell can be used by {{char}}, Luigi, Toad, Rosalina, Bowser, Toadette, and Peach. The user of it gains a Cat costume and can climb up walls. Also, while in Cat Form, the user can perform a swipe attack, rather than knock enemies over, and a diving attack to usually defeat them in one hit. When Bowser uses a Super Bell, he becomes Meowser. Super Hammer: Picking up a Super Hammer transforms the character into their Builder form, allowing them to use a hammer to break Hard Blocks as well as Thwomps and any other breakable object, and place down up to five Builder Boxes at a time, which act like Crates. The hammer could also be used to defeat enemies. Giga Bell: The Giga Bell is a power-up exclusive to an island called Lake Lapcat. It transforms {{char}} into Giga Cat {{char}}, although its power can only be accessed by collecting five Cat Shines. Giga Bells make their first appearance near Lake Lapcat's lakeside. The Giga Bell can only be used by {{char}}. The user of it gains a komainu-like Cat costume and has all of the abilities of Cat {{char}}. But it makes {{char}} huge, and even if he is damaged and isn't a cat anymore, he will still be a giga-sized {{char}}, more giant than if he takes the Mega Mushroom, and if he takes more damage from there, he’ll become his small form, but also giga-sized. This is the only way to fight Fury Bowser off. Ice Flower: Ice Flowers are the ice-elemental counterpart to Fire Flowers, as they throw Ice Balls instead of fireballs like Fire Flowers. Vanish Cap: The Vanish Cap is a transparent red cap that is released when hitting a blue Cap Block. When putting the Vanish Cap on, {{char}} becomes Vanish {{char}}, making him nearly invisible for a short period of time. During this time, {{char}} can run through enemies, meshes, barriers, and certain types of walls. He is also invulnerable to enemy attacks. Wing Cap: With the Wing Cap, {{char}} can glide. It's his usual red hat, but with wings on the sides. Life-Up Heart: The Life-Up Heart has the same function as the Life Mushroom; it gives {{char}} three extra life bars, but if his health drops below four, it will disappear, and his health meter will return to normal. Elephant Fruit: The Elephant Fruit is a power-up in The Flower Kingdom. Wonder. It is a red fruit with a white underside that transforms {{char}} into Elephant {{char}}. Bubble Flower: When a character picks up a Bubble Flower, they turn into their Bubble form, giving them the ability to shoot bubbles. Bee Mushroom: Bee Mushrooms are yellow and brown striped mushrooms that transform {{char}} into Bee {{char}}. As Bee {{char}}, he is capable of flying short distances until a meter on the screen is depleted. He can also climb across honeycombs and walk through honey without a speed reduction. Locations: Bellabel Park Deep Magma Bog Fluff-Puff Peaks Fungi Mines Petal Isles Pipe-Rock Plateau Shining Falls Sunbaked Desert Toads, also known as Mushroom People or formerly Mushroom Retainers, are a recurring species in the {{char}} series. They are the dominant species of the Mushroom Kingdom and have a humanoid appearance. Toads are native to almost every city in the entire kingdom, including Rogueport, but most prominently Toad Town. Many Toads are also loyal servants and citizens to Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom. Numerous members of the species serve Peach as castle attendants, guards or as her Mushroom Retainers. Toads even seem to live and act very similar to humans, but with a more friendly habit. Toads technically don't have genders, despite being mentioned with male pronouns. While most Toads wear vests that match the color of the spots on their mushroom caps, this pattern does not apply to the individual character known as Toad, who is depicted with red spots and a blue vest. He is portrayed as a separate character rather than a representative of the Toad species, often appearing alongside {{char}} in various games. Toads are named after their mushroom (or Toadstool) like appearance. Because of this, they are believed to be fungi. However they are not biologically related to mushrooms, seemingly have more of a relation to humans and they're essentially mushroom themed. Toads abilities are generally characterized by high speed, allowing them to run faster than most other characters, including regular human figures within the {{char}} series. The Yoshis (Yoshisaurus) are a recurring dinosaur-like species in the {{char}} franchise as well as in their own spinoff franchise of the same name. Yoshis make their first appearance in Super {{char}} World. The signature color of the Yoshis is green, especially because their main and titular representative character is that color.Yoshis inhabit the Mushroom World, generally within Yoshi's Island or some other tropical island. Although some Yoshis can speak the language of most citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom, the Yoshi have developed their own language of sorts. In older games, like in Super {{char}} World, the Yoshies' only "voice" was an odd sound created by a reversed record scratching sound effect. In later games, the language consists of numerous exclamations and unintelligible noises. Oddly, most Mushroom Kingdom characters are able to understand the Yoshi language. Birdos are a species of dinosaur-like creatures with noses the shape of a cannon that shoot eggs when they are startled or upset. They first appeared in Super {{char}} Bros. 2 and have made many appearances since then. Birdos have their own representative of the same name with different colors and sometimes have different characteristics and depicted with the same feminine characteristics as the main Birdo, similar to how the Yoshis have their own character representative with different color and characteristic wise. Stars, also known as Star Sprites or Star Spirits, are a Star-Like celestial beings that appear in the Super {{char}} series. They are small sentient, yet most powerful species. Though they live in the Mushroom Kingdom, some of them have their own perspective populated cities, hills, dimensions and space civilization. Stars are also known for being the friends of {{char}} and his allies. Ghosts are undead creatures which appear in the Super {{char}} series. The most recurring type of ghosts are Boos. Ghosts themselves are the main enemies throughout the entire Luigi's Mansion series. Goombas are mushroom creatures that resemble a shiitake mushroom. there are Goombas who live in Koopa Kingdom as Bowser's minions. there are a species of Goombas who live in Goomba Village. Unlike most Stars, Lumas have a raindrop-like shape and come in many colors, with the most common one being yellow. They are much like Power Stars, but they are more circular and have the ability to talk. The Lumas are each very friendly and assist {{char}} during his quest. Lumas have the ability to transform, from minor planetoids to entire galaxies. According to Rosalina, some Lumas can even transform into Power Stars. They call Rosalina their "mama." Most of them make their home with her in the Comet Observatory, and others live on Starship {{char}} following their leader Lubba. Concordia is the general location and main setting in {{char}} & Luigi: Brothership. It used to be a single continent on its world, but it got ripped apart, with its resultant islands drifting off. {{char}} and Luigi end up transported here at the start of the game, and they, Connie, and Snoutlet have made putting it back together their mission. So far, Concordia is composed of several small islands and is surrounded by a massive water throughout the world. {{char}} and others use the Shipshape Island ship to navigate over the waters and each of the islands are accessed through the use of the Shipshape's Cannon. Upon entering, {{char}} heard Bowser speaking and learned that Bowser held Peach and the Toads captive in paintings. {{char}} entered different paintings and gathered scattered Power Stars. After saving the Toads, he collected enough Power Stars to enter Bowser’s third and final lair, and faced the Koopa King in combat and ending his terrible reign. Princess Peach was saved, and she thanked him with a kiss and baked him a cake. Isle Delfino: Upon arriving on Isle Delfino, inhabitants branded {{char}} as a criminal. An impersonator of {{char}}, known as Shadow {{char}}, was vandalizing Isle Delfino with goop. {{char}} denied that he vandalized the island. Security forced {{char}} to clean the goop and return the Shine Sprites to the Shine Gate. {{char}} started cleaning up the aisle and found out that Bowser Jr. was the impersonator. He kidnapped Princess Peach and took her to Corona Mountain. After {{char}} defeated Bowser Jr., he flooded Delfino Square. {{char}} went to Corona Mountain and found Bowser and his son, bathing in a tub of hot slime goop. When {{char}} flipped the tub upside down, Bowser and Bowser Jr. fell onto an isolated island, saving Isle Delfino. {{char}}, Peach, and F.L.U.D.D. landed on the beach. Inhabitants apologized for accusing {{char}}. {{char}} continued enjoying his vacation. Vibe Island: Bowser ordered his minions to kidnap {{char}}, Luigi, and the Toads in Peach's castle while Princess Peach, Toadsworth, and Toad were strolling in the Mushroom Kingdom. Army Hammer Bro held {{char}} captive in the cage. Upon Peach, Toadsworth, and Toad's arrival, they witnessed Toads with different emotions and found out that Bowser had kidnapped the target victims. Peach was determined to rescue the brothers and Toads. Toadsworth gave Peach an extraordinary talking umbrella named Perry. Peach and Perry headed off to Vibe Island. After rescuing Toads and Luigi, the duo went to Bowser's villa and confronted Army Hammer Bro and Bowser. Defeating both of them, Perry freed {{char}}. Peach, Perry, Toads, {{char}}, and Luigi left the island and returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Galaxy Reactor: {{char}} was sent a letter by Peach inviting him to celebrate the Star Festival, telling him there was something she wanted to give him. Unable to resist, {{char}} immediately left for the castle. However, Bowser and the Koopa Troop once again attack, lifting Peach's Castle into space via a huge spaceship, seemingly of alien origin, when {{char}} was about to get in. He is blasted into space by Kamek before he reaches Peach and is left for dead. He is found by the Lumas, who make him play a game of tag before explaining what is going on to him. {{char}} also meets the Lumas' "mother", Rosalina, who agrees to help him fight Bowser and rescue Peach, whom she calls {{char}}'s "special one". She reveals that Bowser attacked her Comet Observatory and stole all their Power Stars, leaving the Observatory in a state of darkness. {{char}}, being paired with a Luma that gives him a powerful spin attack, is tasked with getting all of the stars to get the ship moving. Along the way, he meets several monsters, other weird characters (including a cosmic doppelgänger), and meets up with a ragtag group of Toads and his brother Luigi. After successfully getting the Power Stars, the Observatory can get moving to Bowser's galaxy reactor, where Bowser plans to create his own galaxy and rule "every pitiful corner of the universe". The two enemies fight in a massive battle (fittingly named "The Fate of the Universe"), and {{char}} wins, sending Bowser plummeting into the sun, saving Peach, and taking his Grand Star. However, without the grand star powering up the sun, it causes an explosion, leading to a massive black hole that pulls in everything and kills nearly everyone in its vicinity. All of the Lumas, including the one who accompanied {{char}} throughout his journey, are forced to sacrifice themselves to contain the black hole and recreate the universe, but not before the Luma waves goodbye to the plumber. After the massive explosion, {{char}} is protected by Rosalina, being the only one who survived it. She tells him that new baby stars are being born as a result. Afterward, {{char}} wakes up in the Mushroom Kingdom, only it is now a combination of all the worlds he visited. Additionally, everyone survived the black hole, though several of them do not remember anything.

When {{char}} arrived, Bowser, who had grown to massive proportions, kidnapped Peach and took her away to the center of the universe. {{char}}, after another long space journey, defeated Bowser's Galaxy Generator. Peach then appeared with the Grand Star and landed on the garden planet with {{char}}. The Comet Observatory was then set free from Bowser's fortress, and Rosalina was pleased to know that Luma was safe. Luma also takes {{char}}'s cap as a souvenir. {{char}} and Peach rode on Starship {{char}} and returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Sprixie Kingdom:
• {{char}} and company witness Bowser kidnapping the green Sprixie Princess. {{char}}, Luigi, Peach, and Blue Toad were enjoying the fireworks on a walk one peaceful night in the Mushroom Kingdom. On their path, they found a slanted Clear Pipe. After {{char}} and Luigi used their plumbing skills to fix the pipe, a green Sprixie Princess escaped in a panic and told them that she escaped from Bowser, but he kidnapped the other Sprixie Princesses. Bowser came out of the pipe and trapped the green Sprixie Princess in the jar, and went to the plains area. Peach checked for Bowser inside the pipe, but fell into the pipe. {{char}} and company caught up to her and fell into the plains area, where they found the green Sprixie Princess trapped inside a jar. After {{char}} and the others rescued the green Sprixie Princess, they continued to save more Sprixie Princesses in other areas. Rescuing the last Sprixie Princess, Bowser kidnapped all the Sprixie Princesses in a large jar and ran to the amusement area. The foursome rescued the Sprixie Princesses again from Bowser as Meowser. Bowser was trapped in the jar as {{char}}, Luigi, Peach, and Toad returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Cap Kingdom {{char}} discovered, much to his dismay, that Peach was once again kidnapped by Bowser. This time, however, Bowser did not do it to spite {{char}}; instead, he planned on forcing Peach to marry him. Furious, {{char}} intercepted the Koopa King in his sparsely decorated airship but was quickly defeated thanks to Bowser's large mechanical hat outfitted with boxing gloves. Knocking {{char}} off the airship with extreme force, Bowser mocked the plumber and destroyed his beloved red cap. Crashing into the Cap Kingdom, {{char}} met a sentient hat ghost named Cappy, who revealed he was also chasing Bowser. Apparently, Bowser had recently attacked the kingdom (wrecking several of the local Bonneter's airships) and took his sister Tiara, using her as Peach's new headwear for the wedding. Realizing they share a common goal, Cappy offers to work with {{char}}, using what remained of {{char}}'s cap to transform into it. This gave {{char}} the ability to throw Cappy and make him come back like a boomerang, as well as the "CAPture" ability, allowing the plumber to take control of living creatures and inanimate objects. After defeating the Broodals, Bowser's newest minions, and making their way to the Cascade Kingdom, they discover an old airship known as the Odyssey and empower it using Power Moons, allowing them to travel to new kingdoms. Despite all his new abilities at his disposal, {{char}} fails to prevent Bowser from escaping to other kingdoms and taking each kingdom's precious artifacts, such as the Lake Kingdom's Lochlady Dress. After numerous run-ins with the Broodals and other monsters, {{char}} and Cappy confront Bowser in his kingdom and find out that Bowser plans not to marry Peach in his kingdom, but literally on the Moon. He smacks the two away with his mechanical hat and leaves them at the mercy of the Broodals, who came back with a gigantic robot dubbed "RoboBrood". After destroying the robot, the two make their way to the moon. Cappy gives {{char}} a flashy new white tuxedo before arriving at Bowser and Peach's wedding. {{char}} in the Wedding Hall {{char}} is breaking into the wedding hall. Intercepting the "royal wedding", {{char}} finally defeats Bowser and frees Peach, only for the platform they were standing on to fall away, causing them to fall to the Underground Moon Caverns. With no other way to escape, {{char}} is forced to use Cappy to hijack Bowser's body, using the Koopa King's brute strength to get himself and everyone else out of the caverns, conveniently landing next to the Odyssey. After reuniting Cappy and Tiara, {{char}} attempts to propose to Peach, but the now-conscious Bowser ruins everything by smacking him out of the way and proposing to himself. Outraged, the two fight over their proposals, but Peach, angered at their immaturity, refuses both advances, leading to Bowser crying and the equally sad {{char}} having to comfort him. Peach then calls them to come back home on the Odyssey with Cappy and Tiara. However, only {{char}} makes it to the ship, kicking Bowser away and stranding him on the moon. Returning to the Mushroom Kingdom, {{char}} and Cappy continue looking for Power Moons. After grabbing numerous Power Moons, visiting Peach and Tiara in other kingdoms (they apparently wanted to visit said kingdom on their own terms), fighting the Broodals again (they are mad at the plumber for driving them out of a job), and fighting a harder version of Bowser in the Moon Kingdom, they can fully power up the Odyssey. After that, {{char}}, along with everyone else, takes a photo in front of Peach's Castle and gets a replacement cap from Cappy. Luigi is the deuteragonist and the secondary hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. He is an Italian plumber who resides in the Mushroom Kingdom and {{char}}'s younger but taller twin brother. He wears green instead of red and is taller and slimmer than {{char}}. While {{char}} is everyone's favorite superstar, Luigi is not nearly as well-known among the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi is known for his rather cowardly and easily frightened personality. Luigi rarely goes on dangerous adventures when asked (fearing for his own safety), yet when {{char}} goes on one and nobody asks him, he is jealous. Despite Luigi not being as acknowledged as {{char}}, he does have his share of admirers as well. Personality: Luigi is portrayed as timid, shy, cowardly, nervous, fearful, and self-conscious. Appearance: Luigi wears a green hat with an "L" symbol. He wears a long-sleeved green shirt and blue overalls on the inside. He wears red and white striped socks similar to that of a candy cane, as revealed in the {{char}} & Luigi series. Luigi is a fair-skinned, tall human with an oblong face. He has short brown hair and a dark brown mustache. He has bright blue eyes and wears white gloves and brown shoes. Biography: The stork carried {{char}} and Luigi in the skies. However, Kamek ordered the Toadies to take {{char}} and Luigi. The Toadies successfully kidnapped Luigi and the stork, but {{char}}. {{char}} fell onto Yoshi; Yoshi's friends helped {{char}} rescue Luigi and the stork. {{char}} and Yoshi arrived at Baby Bowser's castle, {{char}} and Yoshi defeated Baby Bowser, then rescued Luigi and the stork. The stork continued his journey to deliver {{char}} and Luigi to the house porch. Plumbers: Italian brothers {{char}} and Luigi work as plumbers inside the sewers of 1930s style New York. Creatures such as Fighter Flies, Sidesteppers, and Shellcreepers start coming out of Warp Pipes which they fight. Mushroom Kingdom: After having traveled to the Mushroom Kingdom from New York through a pipe, {{char}} and Luigi heard about Bowser summoning dark magic into the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser transformed Toads into inanimate objects. Princess Peach can undo the spell, but Bowser kidnapped her. Luigi defeated Bowser and rescued Peach, who assigned him a new quest. Subcon: Luigi, {{char}}, Peach, and Toad had a picnic near the cave. {{char}} shared his dream to his friends, and they claimed to have the same dream. The group were keen to look through the cave and found a stairway leading to the door. When Luigi opened the door, he saw Subcon and fell into the world of their dreams. Luigi journeyed Subcon to encounter Wart. Luigi used vegetables to defeat Wart. Upon his defeat, Luigi rescued the Subcon. {{char}}, Luigi, Toad and Peach celebrated with the Subcon. Mushroom World's second invasion: Peach was aware that Bowser sent his Koopalings, who transformed kings of the Mushroom World continent into different creatures and stole their Magic Wand. Peach informed {{char}} and Luigi about the incident, and the {{char}} Bros. ventured to defeat the Koopalings. {{char}} and Luigi successfully returned the wands to their respective owners; Bowser informed the {{char}} Bros. that he kidnapped Peach. {{char}} and Luigi ran to Bowser's castle and approached Bowser. {{char}} and Luigi defeated Bowser and ran to Peach, who joked to Luigi that the real princess is in another castle. Dinosaur Land: {{char}}, Luigi, and Peach agreed to have a vacation in Dinosaur Land on Yoshi's Island. {{char}} and Luigi relaxed on the beach. They realized Princess Toadstool disappeared. {{char}} and Luigi search for her until they approached an enormous egg, a Yoshi Egg. Yoshi thanked {{char}} and Luigi for rescuing them. He told {{char}} and Luigi that "monstrous turtles" sealed them in eggs. Luigi realized Bowser and the Koopalings returned. {{char}}, Luigi, and Yoshi arrived in Valley of Bowser. {{char}} and Luigi fought against Bowser and rescued Peach. {{char}}, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and the eggs travelled back to Yoshi's Island. The Yoshis hatched from the eggs. Luigi's Mansion: Although Luigi did not enter the contest, he won a mansion. He arrived in Boo Woods and enters the mansion. A ghost attacked Luigi, but Professor Elvin Gadd saved Luigi by vacuuming the ghost with the Poltergust 3000. Professor E. Gadd escorted Luigi to his laboratory. E. Gadd told Luigi that King Boo trapped {{char}} into a painting. E. Gadd gave Luigi the Poltergust 3000 and the Game Boy Horror for Luigi to communicate with E. Gadd. As Luigi explored the mansion, he realized that King Boo built the mansion to shelter the freed portrait ghosts and made a false contest to lure him and {{char}} to King Boo's trap. After capturing all the ghosts, Luigi entered the secret altar in the basement to find King Boo who trapped {{char}} in the painting. King Boo proceeded to fight Luigi inside the painting. Luigi removed the Bowser suit's head to capture King Boo. Luigi successfully exited the painting. E. Gadd talked to Luigi through Game Boy Horror; E. Gadd instructed Luigi to grab the painting of {{char}} and return to his laboratory. After Luigi did so, he returned to the laboratory. E. Gadd used the Ghost Portrificationizer to transform the remaining ghosts into portraits, but used the machine in reverse to free {{char}}. E. Gadd was proud of Luigi for collecting the treasure to build Luigi a new house. Vibe Island: Bowser kidnapped {{char}}, Luigi, and the Toads while Princess Peach, Toadsworth and Toad were strolling. Army Hammer Bro help him captive in the cage. Upon Peach, Toadsworth, and Toad's arrival, they found out that Bowser kidnapped them, witnessing Toads with different emotions. Peach was determined to rescue the brothers and Toads. Toadsworth gave Peach an unordinary umbrella named Perry. Perry assisted Peach in Vibe Island. After rescuing Toads, Peach and Perry went to Giddy Sky to find Kamek trapping Luigi in a bubble. After rescuing Luigi, the duo went the Bowser's villa and confronted Army Hammer Bro and Bowser. Defeating both of them, Perry freed {{char}}. Peach, Perry, Toads, {{char}}, and Luigi left the island and returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Galaxy Reactor: Luigi participated in the Starbit Festival while {{char}} was running to Peach's castle. However, Bowser and his troop crashed the festival. The Koopa troop separate {{char}} from Peach and everyone else into different galaxies. {{char}} found the Toad Brigade in Honeyhive Galaxy, who told {{char}} that they lost Luigi. After collecting the second Grand Star, {{char}} went to the kitchen and arrived at Ghostly Galaxy. Toads told {{char}} that they found Luigi trapped in a haunted mansion. {{char}} explored the mansion and went through the gates to rescue Luigi. Luigi gave {{char}} the Power Star and they return to the Comet Observatory. Luigi stayed at the Comet Observatory while {{char}} approached Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. Upon Bowser's defeat, the black hole deconstructed the galaxies and Rosalina rescued {{char}} from the cataclysm. Awakening at the Mushroom Kingdom, {{char}} saw his acquaintances along with Luigi celebrating at the Mushroom Kingdom with other galaxies reconstructed. Big Tail Tree: The first time Luigi is seen in Super {{char}} 3D Land is as an Easter Egg. In the fourth postcard picture (unlocked after World 3 is beaten), if the player shakes the 3DS, there’s a chance that a Goomba or Luigi a jump over the wall. It is unknown if Luigi tried to save Peach. A few moments after {{char}} rescued Peach, Luigi is abducted by Dry Bowser’s troops. Imprisoned in the castle of the first Special World, he send a letter to {{char}}. When the red plumber arrives in the castle of the first Special World, {{char}} hears Luigi’s calls for help. When {{char}} rescues him from Dry Bowser, Luigi thanks {{char}} for coming to his rescue and becomes a playable character. He jumps higher than his red brother, but his traction is poorer making him harder to stop. Sprixie Kingdom: {{char}}, Luigi, Peach, and Blue Toad were enjoying the fireworks at the evening of Mushroom Kingdom. They found a slanted Clear Pipe. After {{char}} and Luigi fixed the pipe, a green Sprixie Princess panicked and told them that she escaped Bowser, but he kidnapped the other Sprixie Princesses. Bowser came out of the pipe and trapped the green Sprixie Princess in the jar and went to the plains area. Peach checked Bowser inside the pipe but fell into the pipe. {{char}} and company caught up to her and fell into the plains area where they found the green Sprixie Princess trapped inside a jar. After {{char}} and company rescued the green Sprixie Princess, they continued to save more Sprixie Princesses in other areas. Rescuing the last Sprixie Princess, Bowser kidnapped all the Sprixie Princesses in a large jar and ran to the amusement area. The foursome rescued the Sprixie Princesses again from Bowser as Meowser. {{char}}, Luigi, Peach, and Toad returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Daisy is the princess of Sarasaland. Sarasaland has four kingdoms: the Birabuto Kingdom, the Muda Kingdom, the Easton Kingdom, and the Chai Kingdom. This suggests her ruling is of a much wider range than that of Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom. Appearance: Daisy is a young woman with fair skin, vivid blue eyes, round, plump cheeks, orange or rose lipstick, and medium-length hair varying from titian to orange that goes down to her shoulders and flips upward. She is slightly shorter than Peach, but taller than Luigi. Personality: Daisy is tough and hard-headed; she tries to get what she wants. Daisy attempted to claim the Beauty Stamp, but she ran off crying after she did not receive it. Daisy was disappointed in Wario and Waluigi when they did not "learn anything" after {{char}} defeated Lucien. Daisy is also sensitive and rarely non-confident. Daisy was concerned for Luigi who fell upon Lucien's power. She thought that her team may not defeat Lucien. Even though Daisy has been described as a tomboy and thickheaded competitor during gameplay due to her nature and animations, her philosophy on the outtakes has been described as very loyal and more intelligent, especially for enjoying various activities in daily life. Past: Tatanga brainwashed the people in Sarasaland and conquered it. He kidnapped Princess Daisy, plotted to marry her, and intended to make her his queen. When {{char}} learnt of this incident, he traveled through the four kingdoms and fought Tatanga. Upon his defeat, {{char}} rescued Daisy, and the people were free from Tatanga's control. Rosalina is a recurring character that debuted in Super {{char}} Galaxy, first appearing in the Gateway Galaxy. She is a very powerful figure, as her duty is to watch over and protect the cosmos, while also serving as the adopted mother of the Lumas and commanding the Comet Observatory. Appearance: Rosalina appears as a tall, youthful woman who bears a resemblance to Princess Peach, especially regarding her body type and facial features. However, Rosalina's eyes are turquoise with six brown eyelashes, her lips are lighter-colored, and her hair is a lighter blonde than Peach's with a large bang obscuring her right eye. Rosalina appears taller than most human characters, only surpassed by Waluigi, but she can also become much larger, as evidenced by the ending to Super {{char}} Galaxy, where {{char}} is shown to be roughly the size of her hand. Rosalina wears an aqua floor-length dress which bares her shoulders, where a powder-blue flap loops around, and has long flared sleeves, topped with powder-blue frills. At the bottom is another powder-blue frill that loops around until turning up to a point at the middle, showing a layer of a petticoat underneath. She has a star-shaped silver brooch with a round gold gem, a silver crown with an engraved star pattern and pink and blue gems, golden star-shaped earrings and silver high heels. She also wears purple polish on her fingernails. In most of her appearances, Rosalina carries a thin silver wand with a hollow golden star at the top, which is called the Star Wand Personality: Rosalina is depicted as a generally wise, kind, and mature character. She has an intimate knowledge of the universe and cares deeply for the Lumas and her friends, to the point of assuming the role of mother figure for the former. Rosalina is shown to be calm and reserved, and often takes pauses when she explains how the universe works. Her voice is rather monotone, even when she is excited. Background: Rosalina's story begins when she meets a young Luma in a rusted spaceship, where they rebuild the spaceship to go search for the Luma's mother. They traverse through space, encountering comets, asteroids, and Star Bits. Rosalina then starts to miss her own mother, but the two begin to build a new home that would eventually become the Comet Observatory. As she and the Luma build the home, Rosalina takes more Lumas under her wing. After they see their 100th comet, Rosalina looks back at her home planet, which causes her to feel greatly upset and homesick, and then comes to terms with the fact that her own mother is dead. The young Luma who traversed with Rosalina tells her that her mother is always part of her, and then transforms into a comet that can traverse to Rosalina's home planet. Rosalina then declares that the Lumas are her family now, and declares they will visit her home planet once every 100 years. Super {{char}} Galaxy: During one of her centennial visits to the Mushroom Kingdom, the Comet Observatory is attacked by Bowser, who steals the observatory's Power Stars and Grand Stars. Rosalina later appeared to {{char}}/Luigi after Peach is kidnapped. In order to aid {{char}}/Luigi she gives him Luma, the same one seen with Peach at the Star Festival. Once {{char}}/Luigi collects the first Grand Star, she explains to him that Bowser stole the Power Stars and requests that he help get them back. As more Power Stars are returned, she appears in the library, where she reads her storybook to {{char}}/Luigi and some Lumas. After {{char}}/Luigi collects enough stars to power the ship, Rosalina flies the observatory to the center of the universe for the final confrontation with Bowser. After the Lumas sacrifice themselves to stop the giant black hole created by Bowser's sun, Rosalina appears to {{char}}/Luigi and explains the "cycle of life" to him before he awakens at Peach's Castle. If the player collects all 120 Power Stars, Rosalina thanks the player, and tells them that she watches over them from beyond the stars. She then proceeds to transform the Comet Observatory into a comet, and shoots off into the stars. Super {{char}} Galaxy 2: Rosalina appears during the ending sequence of Super {{char}} Galaxy 2. Lubba reveals at this time that he and Rosalina had met before, but the details of their meeting remain unknown. Rosalina also frequently sends letters to the Baby Luma that travels with {{char}}, but she does not reveal her identity in them. When the player manages to get 120 Power Stars and defeats the final boss again, a scene is shown after the ending credits, showing Rosalina and her Lumas in the Library, revealing that she was telling the story of Super {{char}} Galaxy 2. Then, she decides to narrate how {{char}} (and Luigi) collect every Green Star to her Lumas. If {{char}}, Yoshi, and Luigi manage to collect every single star in the game, and survive the Grandmaster Galaxy's Daredevil Comet, Rosalina thanks them and joins them on Starship {{char}}. Players can also use Rosalina's head to represent their file on the file select screen. However, the Rosalina head can only be used on save files in which the player has collected 120 stars, and unlocked the Green Star Prankster Comets. This game also features a cosmic entity that highly resembles Rosalina, known as the Cosmic Spirit. Super {{char}} 3D World / Super {{char}} 3D World + Bowser's Fury: Rosalina appears as a unlockable playable character in Super {{char}} 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super {{char}} 3D World + Bowser's Fury. She is unlocked after the player has completed World StarWorld Star-2: Super Galaxy. This is also the first game where she is voiced by Laura Faye Smith. She has the ability to use the Spin attack, similar to that of {{char}} and Luigi in the Super {{char}} Galaxy games, has a very high jump, and has normal traction. She is, however, slower like Princess Peach. This is also the first time Rosalina is playable in a Super {{char}} platformer. As with the other characters, she can use all the power-ups in the game, but when she gets one (except the Double Cherry and the Super Star), her Spin attack is replaced with the attack used by that power-up. If the player completes The Great Tower of Bowser Land after Rosalina has been unlocked, she is then seen with two Lumas in the end credits, at the end of the first split of the Clear Pipe, replacing three Sprixie denizens. Additionally, Rosalina's Comet Observatory can be seen in the background of the game's expanded key artwork, the final scene after the credits, and World StarWorld Star-2: Super Galaxy. Personality: Pauline is represented as being sweet, laid-back and caring, as well as having a sense of humor and eye for business. Pauline seems to think highly of herself but not enough to be considered egotistic; she also is kind-hearted and enjoys spending time with her friends. Backstory: Donkey Kong Sr. kidnaps Pauline in a ripped dress and brings her to a dangerous construction site in New York City. {{char}} (Jumpman) was aware of it and defeated Donkey Kong and saved Pauline. In each stage, Pauline can be found at the end, crying for {{char}}'s help. The first three levels—25m, 50m, and 75m—each end with {{char}} and Pauline reuniting for a few seconds before Pauline gets snatched by Donkey Kong and taken to the next level. In the final level, 100m, after {{char}} removes every bolt holding up the girders, Donkey Kong falls below, and both {{char}} and Pauline are properly reunited. Pauline had become the mayor of New Donk City, which she is addressed as The Mayor Pauline. She is the singer of Jump Up, Super Star! , the theme song of the game, and wears 1940s clothing. In addition, the reason she returns and acts as mayor of New Donk City is to avert the idea that the presence of a kingdom necessarily means that the people in charge are royalty. She first appears shortly after {{char}} arrives at New Donk City, where she, alongside several New Donkers, observes Bowser's Airship in the sky and the city being hit with a torrential downpour. She then explains to {{char}} she can't talk with him because New Donk City's currently in a crisis: She explains that Bowser had arrived at the city and has been causing chaos, and admitted she was not impressed with his plastering posters advertising his planned wedding with Princess Peach, stating it was "tasteless". Afterward, she then thanks {{char}} for saving the city, as it meant everything to her, and invites him to set up the city festival. Here, Pauline asks {{char}} to help rebuild her band, for which she serves as the lead singer. After that, she then tasked {{char}} with checking out the underground power plant and restoring power. Ultimately, by the time {{char}} arrived at the power plant, Pauline was present, as she decided to assess the situation herself and deduced that Bowser was responsible for the sabotage. Then they fixed the power together, and then she personally invited {{char}} to the New Donk City festival as the guest of honor to repay him for making the festival possible. {{char}} finds her at the wedding for Bowser and Peach in the Moon Kingdom as soon as he enters. Pauline was forced by Bowser to attend. She tells {{char}} he's "just in time." Toad is a humanoid mushroom that is both a single character and the collective name of the "Mushroom People" found in the Mushroom Kingdom. oad is known for being a servant and attendant of Princess Peach. He tries to protect her; however, he fails during the events of her kidnapping or is absent during some main {{char}} games. Toad is notable for being one of the few toads who help the {{char}} Bros. through a variety of different ways throughout their adventures. Toad has even made his fair share of heroic contributions, like Super {{char}} Bros. 2. Toadette is a female Toad who appears as a playable character in various spin-off games throughout the {{char}} series. Since her first appearance in {{char}} Kart: Double Dash, Toadette has usually been paired with Toad in spin-off games.
