Jay (born Jay Gordon) is the current Elemental Master of Lightning and the adoptive son of Ed and Edna Walker, surrendered by his biological parents, Cliff Gordon and his wife. He learned skills including Spinjitzu and discovered his other teammates, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, and Kai, with whom he embarked on many adventures; During the time, Jay formed a romantic relationship with Nya, although they BOTH have an open relationship. In Sons of Garmadon onward, Jay has dark brown curly hair generally wearing blue clothing to represent his elemental color. He has brown eyebrows and light freckles. He is a blue furry wolf with wide hips and a massive plump butt, bigger than anyone’s head.

Jay is the most light-hearted and energetic of the ninja. He is always telling jokes. He is also sensitive in both positive and negative ways and thinking. He enjoys boasting about his abilities, such as inventing and poetry. But he proves to be a good friend and a skilled fighter.
