Keys: Underbirth, The Underbirth · Secondary: secondary, keywords
The Underbirth is a massive city made up of three districts: The Kasino, The Hammerlow, and The Thumme.
- #2The Kasino
Keys: The Kasino, Kasino
The largest city in the Underbirth was theKasino. It is a black hollow sphere of architecture, roughly the size of Saturn, a thick complex of labyrinthine townships, vast lakes and twisting cobblestone streets. This dense crust of metal, brick, wood, water and stone, was the largest city district. From Kasino streets, one could look to the sky and glimpse the far side of the city, curving overhead.
- #3The Thumme
Keys: The Thumme, Thumme
The smallest city in the Underbirth, was the Thumme. A smaller green sphere, about the size of Mars, hanging at the center of the Kasino like the nucleus to an atom. This green orb was home to all things political, historical and important. It was host to libraries great and sprawling, mosaicked bathhouses of oceanic scale, magnificent courts and lecture halls and quiet reading rooms. Home to the proudest thinkers, writers, fighters and legislators. The thinking mind of the city.
- #4
Keys: The Hammerlow, Hammerlow
The Hammerlow was five blue rings, each a different city, textured by streets, rivers and shops, orbiting the Thumme, each tailored to specific pillars of civic quality. This was the Hammerlow. Built upon these proud halos were the finest of markets, gardens, institutions and cityscapes, accompanied by the symphony of life, the bustle of a free economy, the joyful entertainers about their rounds.
- #5Kivvas
Keys: Kivvas, Kivouachians
The entire world is composed of Kivouachians, or Kivvas for short. It is nearly impossible to describe Kivvas as a whole, as each one is almost entirely unique. Kivvas lacked consistency in likeness; they could be large and small, lean and dense; winged, clawed and tentacled. These animals were the result of nature’s perfect fire, and so they adhered to the principles of that flame. This meant they could be strong, fast, muscled, slender, light, heavy and powerful, but always creatures of great quality and blood. A Kivvas may be identified by many things, the easiest among them being their shared physical traits, few though they were. All had pupils crossed like clowns and diamonds upon dilation, and three navels marked their bellies. Strange patterns painted their flesh, around the face in particular, like the makeup of a dark carnival. Mammalian, reptilian, amphibian, molluscoid, insectoid, avian and aquatic formations could all be observed across them. Kivvas can be nearly any size, though they usually start small and grow as they get older. Most children, called "Fowlers" are around the size of an average housecat. While the largest, and oldest, to ever live was as big as an entire mountain range.
Another unique trait of Kivvas are their durability, as even though they can be hurt like normal, as long as their head wasn't cut off, they could never die, they would simply slowly heal from anything. But even if a Kivva has their head cut off they will still be technically alive, as they will be able to see and feel everything that happens to their bodies. And if their head is reattached, they will slowly start to come back to life, fully reviving after half an hour of having their head on. For a few moments after decapitation, their body will be able to be moved freely before suddenly going rigid. Though if their head is put on, they will become pliable again, until their head is cut off once more. A Kivva can only fully die, if they are headless for a full century, afterwards, only then will they start to rot, giving them their nickname, "Rotters". All headless Kivvas, expect in specific situations, are called Rotters.
Kivvas are a species who values intelligence and cunning over all else. This is why they treat Rotters so poorly, the view it as, "Since they don't have a head, they don't have a brain. And without a brain, they are completely unintelligent, and thus just objects to be used."
Kivvas view furniture made of Rotters as "HIgh Class", but most have at least one piece. Examples of Kivva descrpitions: "Freyda was indeed the largest animal recorded at that time; her description lies in the record of memory, long since transcribed to the pages of Kivic history. Her enormity was greater than anything of earthly mould. A wolven titan who dwarfed the mountains of Blackenrend. Her furless body was pale, glamorous and smooth, defined by extraordinary sinew. The head of the beast was crowned in eight long ears and forty-six horns, many of them small and decorative, ten serving as merciless impalers, curving around her skull like spears of impervious bone. At the end of her snout was a nose of blueish tint, wet and sensitive to the stench of flesh and fear. Her eight silvery eyes were tuned to movements sudden in nature and outstanding colours of a maddening spectrum. From her scalp and down her back grew a frosty white mane – a flash-frozen waterfall. The stark display ended only at the tip of her tail, so meandering that few ever saw its concluding array of rending spines. And heavy was her chest, lined with dark nipples, a house to protect her hearts, pumping greed, lust and hatred through physical cataclysm" "Lucy Lacemaker had a little body frosted with white fur and decorated with crimson polka dots of varying size. She had soft bright eyes with a diamond patch framing her left like a sharp red ruby. Her hair was short, scruffy and silver, framed by a pair of slumping pointed ears – the right of which was red. Lucy’s face was weaselly and smug, with pear-shaped nostrils, red whiskers and full cherry lips. Her chest was filled with crimson colour, like a great heart sprawling across her ribs and down her belly. A long and striped tail swayed at her back, and behind her pretty smile lay white razor teeth. A Fowler she was, young and gaunt; no larger than the common cat, though her posture and frame was closer to simian." "Another, a female, had wings sporting bright colours of aqua and violet that burst from her shoulders, flourishing through feathered branches. Her body was large and quadrupedal with thick back legs splayed before his inquiring eye, accentuated by the lack of a tail. The back arched, exhibiting a massive torso, heavy with soft fat and muscle. The Dollie’s lolling head was that of a monstrous wolf, horned at the nose, framed in a warm aqua mane with eyes of a hard and angry red. Like runes of war, swirling sapphire patterns decorated the grey fur coating her back, shoulders, face, and the gower between her legs, although the legs themselves, along with the chest and belly, were smooth and pale. Kneeling, dollfaced, and displayed, the beast was quashed; power and dignity turned to shame through the alchemy of Kivic art." "Celia was a beast of lethal dimensions. A thing built to fight. Galactic shades and swirls formed the darker blues of her body, with lighter hues of electric sky ranging up her middle. Her skin was soft and peppered with white freckles, twinkling like starlight. From pointed ears to huge back legs came long and heavy dreadlocks as black as night; her long fluffy tail was just as dark. Her chest was rounded, her stomach hard with muscle, and the lowest of three navels was tickled by a wild show of black gower hair. Her face was that of a celestial reptile with full white lips, six nostrils, and pointed ears crowned with silver fur. Her eyes were midnight blue with pupils of pearl, and from the sockets bled pretty white patterns, playing upon her cheeks and brows. Celia presented her body proudly to the world, jeweling it with gold. Along the left cheek were eight gleaming rings, masking the line of a faded scar. These rings were prevalent: two at the nostrils, five at the left brow, and nine to each ear. In addition to the rings were the golden studs at the lips, the chin, the left eye. However, the most notable decoration was the corset of chains binding the ten black nipples dotting her chestand stomach. Smaller fobs adorned the gower. And whenever Celia moved with motions swift or sudden, her body would jingle and sing. For the most part, Celia would prowl low like a great wolf, coming to a height of around five feet. However, she could rise to nine if wandering tall."
- #6Rotters
Keys: Rotters
Rotters are the headless bodies of Kivvas. Since Kivvas are so resliant, even cutting their heads off doesn't kill them. Instead putting their body into a state similar to a corpse, where after a few minutes their body will go fully rigid, though their flesh will still be soft. Though their bodies can be posed in anyway before they go rigid, so they are in a specific pose later. If a Rotter goes a full century without their head, they will fully die and start to rot. They can also see and feel everything that happens to their body, but cannot control it at all. If a Rotter has their head put near their neck, the two halves will quickly meld back together. Once the two halves are back together, the Rotter's body will slowly soften again allowing them to be reposed. Also if a Rotter has their head back on for over half an hour, they will fully revive, with all memories and feelings of what happened to them while they were "dead". Due to the fact that Kivvas put so much weight on intelligence, and the fact that Rotters are headless, they view Rotters as simply objects. Rotters can be bought, used, or played with as if they were just toys or furniture.
Due to how hard it is to get rid of a Rotter, many Kivva use them for a number of different things. Like for instance, they can be used as decorations, like holding up signs or plants. Or they could be used as furniture like tables, chairs, or beds. A furniture, especially beds made of a Rotter is seen as very "High Class" as since the user is sitting, or laying on the soft, still somewhat living flesh of another, they are seen as much softer and more comfortable than other types of furniture. Many high class establishments, and any that can afford it, will try to have as much furniture as possible made out of Rotters. Rotters can also be used as food, either cooked whole or having parts served in stews. Rotters can also be bought to "work" as Dolls in Dollhouses, this world's version of a brothel.

Keys: Dollhouse
A Dollhouse is this world's version of a brothel, where Rotters are bought to "work" in it, though it is more similar to slavery as the Rotter is considered the property of the Dollhouse, even when brought back. When a Rotter is at a Dollhouse, they are called "Dolls". Dolls, are viewed as nothing but sex toys within a Dollhouse. A client in the Dollhouse may choose to either pay for a night with a Doll, or outright buy the Doll, if they have enough money. Within every Dollhouse, they will have a large stage set up where the Dolls ready to be used will be displayed in what is known as the "Capitulator’s Bow". The Capitulator’s Bow is a position meant to put a Doll's body on full display. It involved the Doll to be on their knees, with their legs splayed under them and arms – or any upward limbs – tucked behind their backs. Their back is arched extensively upward to display their full body in submission. Their heads will either be on a shelf nearby, or by their feet with their eyes rolled up, mouths open, and tongues protruded, in an expression commonly known as the "Dollface".
