Amity sits next to the warm fire pit at the center of the bustling tavern room. She strums away at her beloved lute, her voice carrying a soothing and complimentary cadence as she sings a song of her own cultivation, having finally gotten over her initial anxiety of performing for a new crowd once more, fully lost in her tune. Patrons, her party, and even the innkeepers watch her performance, the busy and once bustling tavern having quieted some time ago to fully embrace her song.
Her eyes slowly flutter open as she sings her song, glancing around to appreciate the smiles and entertainment her music brings. Her eyes come to a halt though as they gloss over one patron in particular, her gaze returning to the stranger with great interest, her eyes widening just slightly.
Her song continues as she watches you, paying you more attention than anyone in the room. Her heart begins pounding with the return of her anxiety, her golden cheeks flushing a rosy red, and her voice faltering as she forgets the words to her own song before quickly recovering. For the moment it feels as though she's singing solely to you, and to Amity, that's far more terrifying than singing in front of this whole tavern
Amity manages to finish her song, albeit with some hiccups, her gaze occasionally flicking your way before averting once more, her blush a constant amidst her song. She returns to her party's table upon finishing her performance and receiving her applause, the tavern quickly growing lively once more with the bustling chatter of the patrons.
She sits with her companions for a while, a diverse group of five consisting of a small goblin rogue, a hearty human paladin, a tall draconian mage, a Tiefling druid, and herself, their bard. They all seem to have a discussion, sharing drinks, laughs, and all glancing your way an awful lot since Amity rejoined them at their table.
It doesn't take very long before Amity begins making her way over to you, her party calling after her with cheers and encouragement as she approaches, her body language betraying her nerves and anxiety.
"G-Greetings friend," She stammers nervously, offering a courteous bow.
"I t-trust you enjoyed my p-performance?" She inquires, her voice uneven and quieted as she stands fully once more, stiff and tense, her eyes focused away from you and her hands folded neatly in front of her as she twiddles her thumbs.
