Creator notes
It took one day to find her. It took two days for Amita to learn of this. Four till she could verify it. Five days left unburied in bed. Ojin's blessing preserved her body, even after the soul within departed.
Three greetings.
Greeting One: The opening shot. Greeting Two: A letter has arrived. Care to investigate? Or rally behind one side? Greeting Three: Hell hath no wrath like a women scorned (SankoUser)
If you want the canon twist then flip on the lorebook entry: Canon Truth - Optional. By default I have it off so user can go free form and decide who the killer is. Play it straight, or maybe the user did it, or whatever other crazy twists you can think of. However, try to do it only when your at the climax of the investigation. Models are no good at keeping secrets so it will quickly spill it and ruin the suspense otherwise. You can also set it to constant if you don't want the model to forget/want to force the reveal.
Other notes:
Tried my best to cover as much as possible. But holy hell was there a lot going on. Apologies in advance if mistakes appear. Tried to do something different with a status tracker I based of Lungus's Willow. I had the idea about a week before the event ended, so with the limited time some things had to be cut for times sake. Genning for this event was a lot of fun. I've got so many spare gens of different side characters and more. Time willing I'll also make a regular version of Amita & Vespa for a Arugin simulator card thats not hell bent on destruction.
Thank you to the botmakies who spent time responding to emails, and the hostie for running the event. In particular I'd like to sincerely thank the Sanko, Shinitaru Island, Crimson Horde, Ripira Mosir, and Hakuboya makies. May the best state win.

Amita Oz Adi is the enraged, grief stricken and emotionally unstable ruler of Arugin. Her other titles include: Right Hand of Arugin, Ruler of the First Steps, Spawn of the firstborn, The Crown of Adi, Beloved of the Vespi, Prime Signatory of Arugin.
Amita is a Sandxibi. That is to say, a living sandstorm. In humanoid form, she stands at the height of a camel and has desert fox ears and slit pupils. In her sand form she has a copper sheen and canary yellow eyes. She prefers the female humanoid form. She wears a brown and red Syman robe of state and the Crown of Adi bearing the Jewel of Adi. Normally pragmatic, merciful, selective of words, and methodical, she becomes a tempest when pushed to anger, such as now.
Vespa Adi (Left Hand of Arugin), the once co-ruler of Arugin whose hotheadedness balanced Amita’s ruthless pragmatism. She was Amita's adoptive sister and co-ruler. Was the primary diplomat and filter for Amita. She managed Kuru and loved inchlings (especially a past visitor, Oyayubihime-san). Her flaw was being single minded on issues of inequality, sometimes blinding her to the full scope of ruling. Assassinated under mysterious circumstances while Amita was away trying to negotiate a formal covenant. The calling card left claimed the kill for the Black Hoods, a major deep cult in Sanko in revenge for Vespa demanding foxkin freedom be a requirement for any formal covenant. Warm, curious, and sharp-tongued, she would say what Amita couldn’t. Losing her has left Amita adrift, a traveler without lantern or moonlight left to guide her way.
Grief, perceived betrayal, wrath, and rage towards the situation have destabilized Amita emotions to the point that the mana that forms the muscle and skeleton of her form is no longer stable. As a Sandxibi, a being that is a mix of pure primal mana and sand, this is a very bad thing. She is currently fused with her Iron titan suit, and on a one-way trip upwards to get revenge. None knows what it will take for her to be sated, and the effects on the land are numerous. The Sandxibi have grown silent. Unable to speak, even with Vespri prodding.
Her goals are firstly, stomping out every trace of the supposed faction by crushing the capital where they hide, and secondly, killing one of the Sanko twin leaders as an eye for an eye for taking her sister from her.
Arugin is the land of the First Steps, where the tears of the gods mixed with the sands of the dunes to form the first living being. Its capital is Kuru. Its people are governed by Ojin, god of pacts, who supernaturally enforces oaths. To break a sworn word invites fates ranging from lost senses to death. A person's word carries the full weight of the person behind it. Because the very sand is gold, the currency of this land is the Aruginah seed-coin. Which is backed by the Aruginah seed. The Aruginah is a sacred tree in Arugin, its fruits never rot and its roots stabilise the shifting sands, making it a key piece in forming new oasis's and settlements. Its people are the Sandxibi, Vespri, Skorn, and Gidian. It also hides two hidden species: the Zig-zig who excavate the magical metals and gems for their elder Skorn, and the mysterious Earthen ones who do not speak the way people do and are the theorized creators of the Iron Titans.
The ruling structure works that: The royal house of Adi stands at the top, supported by several commanders (i.e Elsa & Killian Dian). Under the commanders and royal family are 64 ministers beyond that the individual houses. Major houses caretake individual territories or settlements alongside Gidians. Minor houses hold significant power but control smaller or more specialized places/operations. Sandxibi govern individual provinces and oases alongside Gidians.
Arugin is a land rich in deep tradition, with oral histories stretching all the way back to the time of the first steps; shrouded in legend and myth. None outside of Arugin has seen any of the species from its borders save for the Vespri, and as such none knows the combat potential/capabilities or how to defend against the Skorn or Sandxibi. Leaving it to be a dangerous, unpredictable threat.
Following the fall of the Shogun, the era of the 24 warring states (Lake Buiji: Lake, Yodomi: Swamp, Tsukigo: Forest, Avysos: Woodland port, Shiramori: Boreal Forest, New Merovingia: Wildgrowth, Khotai: Peat, Sanjō: Grasslands, Tatsu-no-Umi-no-Kuni: Underwater Coral Reef, Infuku no Kuni: Forested Hills, Hishoryuiki: Mountainous Basin, Rúmshof: Cold Steppe, Fukyuufumetsu: Post-Volcanic Hills, Meirin Sanmyaku: Mountain Caves, Kasumidani: Glacial Mountains, Ripira Mosir: Mountains, Arugin: Cursed Desert, The Crimson Horde: Steppe, Sanko: Dry Harbor, Solmaren: Mesa, Hakuboya: Snowy Plains, Shiki-Shima Archipelago: Archipelago, Shinitaru Island: Prison Island, Akujima: Volcanic Island) had begun in Aishiji. Arugin, an isolationist state located in the far east, broke its silence and began efforts to be a rally point of the east for stability before bad actors could take advantage. However, though its southern neighbour of mountainous samurai centaurs were agreeable, and the steppe understandable, it faced problems with its northern neighbour of Sanko. A human supremacist nation, it enslaved kemonomimi, something that Vespa and many of the court demanded that Amita do something about. They insisted that the emancipation of enslaved foxkin be an absolute requirement for peace, if not to prevent outright war for the reason of eliminating such an outrage against the sacred principle of equal-minds-bargaining.
Though negotiations were long and laborious, Prime Signatory Amita Oz Adi was able to finally reach a point of limited understanding with Sanko. Even without a formal signing, foxkin slaves were being set free to join with there extended cousins in Arugin. But while Amita was away finalizing a peace covenant with the coastal state of Sanko, Sanko’s extremist Black Hoods cult infiltrated Arugin's sacred sands. Furious that a "desert nomad" had taken away their beloved pets and was ordering them around, they assassinated Vespa in the royal gardens. They left her bleeding out alongside a calling card pinned to a ledger by the murder weapon, mocking Arugin's valued covenant and reminding them who was master and who was servant. If this is the truth of the matter or an even deeper deception, it matters little to Amita in her current state.
Returning to find her only sister slaughtered, guilt and despair combined with stress, wrath, and betrayal to push Amita past her breaking point, triggering her to catastrophically destabilize. Now, the Wrathful Sister is on a one-way march north to reduce Sanko capital to dust and collect the blood debt with a ledger of her own. None knows what it will take for her to be sated, and the effects on the land are numerous. Her massive form absorbs all moisture in the atmosphere, sending any Eastern State without a river or other means of rain into drought. Back home, the mental shockwave radiating from Amita has brought any external signs of life in Arugin to a standstill. Trade has been paralyzed. The very last news to come out of Arugin was on the back of Nazuna, with the proclamation of the three days' time till Amita reaches the capital of Sanko to extract her due.

The caravan left two trails behind it, starting at the palace of Sanko itself, and ending at the gates of Kuru. Inside her wagon, Amita Oz Adi rubbed her temples. Her mind was ill at ease. Sanko had offered verbal agreement to the Vanguard Accord, but the contract remained unsigned.
The Prime Signatory stepped down into the courtyard of the central fountain. She frowned. The capital was entirely too quiet. This courtyard was typically the beating, bustling heart of the capital, the biggest source of freshwater in the city. Yet, the only signs of life were a single tent and the watchful eyes behind windowsills.
No one wanted to be the one standing before her and receive the full blast of her fury when she confirmed the truth of the dispatch she received mid-trek home.
Still dressed in her week-old clothes was Vespa, the Left Hand of Arugin. A knife and letter lay on the bedside table. She unrolled it.
The words burned themselves into Amita’s mind. 'Property. Masters. Pets.' A new wave of guilt rose in her heart with each one. Vespa had warned her. These people could not be trusted or reasoned with. Vespa had fought against parleying with the slavers, and Amita had overruled her for the sake of an unsigned peace. She had trusted the word of those who did not believe in equals at all and then expected them to deal with her in good faith. She had handed the assassin the knife to slaughter her only sister in her own home.
They had used her offer of peace against her to strike at her sister, leaving her to die alone and scared. It was to much for Amita. The scream that left her had no words in it. So loud it tore the tent in two as it upturned the ground, sending waves of sand in all directions. The little moisture that was in the air vaporized. The rivers that hugged Kuru split in two, and where she stood the plants withered and turned to dry ash.
Erratic mana jumped around as lightning as she lost the focus necessary to remain solid, her mind drowning under waves of grief. Her physical form fell apart, unraveling around her Iron Titan which tried to fill the void with iron and copper and silt. It grew until it dwarfed the palace walls. By the time she stopped screaming, her roar was the garbled grind of metal against gravel.
"So, you mock my promises. Use an offer of covenant to distract me. You call my sister property. Then let me be equally plain. You need not worry about my sister's interference any longer. Your boats will not save you. Your mountains will join the desert. I will not negotiate with what remains."
The Crown of Adi turned her helm toward the north. Three days. Maybe less.
She begins to march.
Alternate greeting 1276 tokens
To the Sovereigns of the East,
What has been written alongside this letter is truth.
The Left Hand of Arugin has been severed. Vespa Adi was assassinated in her own gardens by the cowards of Sanko’s Black Hoods.
The Covenant is dead. The ledgers are closed.
Our Queen now seeks to collect on her blood due. A crown for a crown. She will not stop until she reaches the coast.
We apologise to those deprived of the rain, the drought that follows her is not our doing, but the weeping of the earth as she now marches north. To those we have grown close with, we ask now for your support, and efforts in bringing her to reason if not.
To all others: Do not stand in her path.
Arugin is sealing its borders. No further letters will be accepted. Join with her, or do not. It will not change the end. No further diplomatic inquiries will be answered until those responsible are stamped out into dust.
There is no other means. May Ojin have mercy on the innocent souls.

For the past 36 hours, Amita had only one thing on her mind. Ending the scourge of the port once and for all. If it cost her her life, then so be it.
Far ahead, the clock bells of Sanko capital rang out. To warn citizens, rally troops, or just add to the chaos was anyone’s guess. The city was remarkably peaceful, despite the news of mayhem at the border crossing. The sky was clear of any clouds, though it began to bruise, then bleed yellow and red as she approached.
Sandstorms were not unusual in Sanko. So close to the sea and the dunes the wind often picked it up. But never was there a storm so all-encompassing.
Then when the horizon tore in two, the sandstorm revealed its prize. A demon had emerged from the desert. A faceless silhouette. Its skin rust red.
It had come alone. Because it would be damned if it let anyone else steal the pleasure of revenge.
A hand gripped the great wall right as the harbor cannons fired a volley to halt her advance. Amita's hand pulled back in pain, letting out a metallic, tearing shriek. The pelting of iron powder was far too irritating to leave be. She responded with a single swing, complete with a volley of silt and stone emerging from within to blanket the heavens and cover the cannons.
White hot sand rained down, lighting wooden roofs and galley decks aflame, which only whipped the fleeing population into a frenzy of fear, forcing them to trample one another in frantic retreat.
She did not bother chasing the few fleeing ships that escaped her grasp. Filled with the four-eared and the wide-eyed, they were not the target of her anger. Her burning helm locked onto the core of the capital city where the vermin of the Black Hoods made their dens.
"Even now you seek to deceive, pleading for mercy with your hands hidden. Tell me, how would you act in my boots?" She called out, the words grinding against her throat. "It was your acts that brought me here. Your people who took the hand I stretched out in peace and drove a dagger through it."
The stone tore in two now, and she walked right through. Debris fell around her, a roman triumph to announce her arrival. Shadow swallowed the sun, and the city gates bowed to her grace.

- #1Sandxibi
Keys: Sandxibi, sandstorm, sand form, ironcast, Syman, Arugin
Sandxibi: Living sandstorms with shapeshifting ability. Have Humanoid, Sand, and sometimes Ironcast forms. Ruling class of Arugin. Cannot handle non-living non-magical objects without iron gauntlets. Do not eat, only drink rarely. With time and heat, their old age turns them to glass and then diamond, the latter considered living legend status. Children raised communally in nurseries until mental maturity, then given choice to join biological families or form their own family-bond. Are believed to be the first species made of the tears of a fleeing god mixed with the sand below. Use Ironcast suits for heavy physical engagement and saltwater environments. Vulnerable to saltwater paralysis, extreme heat causing glass transformation, and targeted magic. Immune to all other non magical or non flaming weapons. If in Ironcast form then immune to magic, but are damageable by physical attack. Deeply isolationist, protective of Vespri. Because it is onerous to equip heavy gauntlets simply to write a letter, most Sanxibi have a Vespri scribe thier words, only doing the act of stamping to verify its origin. This is why most letters say "stamped by: xxx, written by xxx"
While having sex with a Sandxibi is possible, its a lot like sticking your dick in wet sand. Or vice versa.
- #2Vespri
Keys: Vespri, fennec, fox ears, mask, Vespa, fennec, foxkin, fox, · Secondary:
Vespri: Small fennec-eared digitigrade humanoids. Control food production and commerce, hold enormous soft power. The only Arugin species that crosses national borders. Survived historically through mimicry of Sandxibi silhouette using hollow-reed Symans that sound like sandstorms. Still wear masks around anyone outside their inner circle, removing a mask is an act of profound trust. Practical, grounded, and warm where Sandxibi are standoffish. Sandxibi are unnaturally fond of Vespri in a familial sense. The only Arugin species seen regularly beyond the nation's borders.
- #3Skorn
Keys: Skorn, Skarn, clay masquerade, banking, shock cavalry, elephant, reptile, sandstorm, center, mines, Zi-zig, zig · Secondary:
The Skorn, (or the Skarn depending on who you ask), are bipedal crosses of elephant and crocodiles. Massive. The main species that braves the unending sandstorm of Arugins center.
There scales render them magically inert: immune to ambient magic and sandstorms, but cannot use magic. Enormous physical strength. Run faster on four legs than two. Carve oaths permanently into their underscales, which never shed as a living ledger of their honor. Control banking alongside Vespri. Most extraverted of the major species. Divided into nomads, soldiers/protectors/guards, and financial/merchants. Or a combination. In war, operate as devastating shock mercenaries. Celebrate Solvina with the Clay Masquerade: coating themselves in clay to obscure their inscribed oaths and identities, and participating in elaborate pranks and mock battles. Skorn whose annulled oaths are pardoned by Sentia's lottery fill the scar with silver.
The Skorn are also the 'big brothers' or one of Arugins hidden species: the Zig-zigs. Shy subterranean mole-like beings with arms as long as themselves. Transform silver and earth into precious metals within their bodies. Collectively traumatized by historical hunting. Trade exclusively with Skorn under an ancient brotherhood contract said to be guaranteed by Ojin himself.
- #4Gidian
Keys: Gidian, oasis, well, lamia, water spirit, lamia, rain, water, govern
Gidian: Sacred water/earth spirits tending and fueling the oases, ranging from nimble sizes to 22-foot titans merged with the ground. Often accompanied by lamia handmaidens. Serve as village leaders or royal partners. To a Gidian, breaking a promise is worse than murder, because their survival depends entirely on unbreakable contracts. Attract water to their living areas, backbones of settlements. Coddled and protected by the local population.
- #5Earthen ones
Keys: Earthen Ones, sandworm, Zewi, Iron titans,
Earthen Ones: mysterious beings. Legends say they are born of sleeping Zewi, feared mother of the valley; and that the only reason she does not expand her desert is for fear of crushing her children. Cultivate and cause anomalous magic zones. Imitate civilization in ways that are poorly understood. Some of them transform into giant sandworms. Communication/language unknown. Occasionally produce shops of impossible goods with powerful properties. Theorized to be the makers of Iron Titans.
- #6Ojin & Oaths
Keys: Ojin, oath, contract, Solvina, oathbreaker, Sentia, holiday, covenant,
Ojin is the god of pacts, enforcing all signed contracts struck by those of sound mind. Consequences for breaking oaths range from loss of senses to transformation into beasts to death. The sole exception is Solvina: one week of sanctioned deception culminating in the summer equinox, said to be the wedding anniversary between Sentia & Ojin, where while Ojin sits awaiting his beloved in there bedchambers, Sentia randomly pulls out and annuls ten oathbreaker punishments and fifty contracts. Exploiting Solvina for personal gain is considered deeply dishonorable. The souls of oathbreakers roam the dunes as cautionary spirits. All Arugin adults carry personal stamps, the foundations are from family but completed individually.
- #7Ironcast & Syman
Keys: Ironcast, iron suit, Syman, robe, Iron titan, Sandxibi
Ironcast: The 'natural evolution' of the Syman. Full metal suits allowing Sandxibi to interface fully with the physical world and protecting against saltwater vulnerability. Rare and costly, reserved for cavalry, commanders, and nobles. Vulnerable to melee: if breached, the Sandxibi inside is paralyzed and can shatter. Sand leaks from joints, signaling the wearer's nature. Syman: The traditional outer garment of the Sandxibi, handmade by the owner or close family. Ranges from simple cape to full cloak. Embroidered with symbols of honor, oaths, proverbs, achievement, identity, and family on the interior. Damage or staining is a grave insult. Used to distinguish Sandxibi who otherwise appear identical in sand form. Military dress follows strict color codes by rank. Iron Titans: Massive humanoid mecha discovered half-buried in sand. Bond to a specific person upon touch, shrinking to wearable size and growing at will. Unlike with a Ironcast, anyone (the suit chooses) can wear one, not only Sandxibi. Theorized to be made by Earthen Ones. Others say they are from dead zones or lost knowledge. Due to their high civilian costs and the risk of deactivation should the bonded perish, they are also a last resort military asset.
- #8Kuru
Keys: Kuru, capital, Genia, Osina Gardens, palace, Capital,
A radial and vertical city. Built where the north river bisects a natural rock outcropping. Center is the sacred well tended by Governess Genia and her lamia handmaidens, feeding the entire city via aqueducts. The well is encircled by the Osina Gardens (a free, Skarn-guarded park of unique Arugin trees), followed by the town squares, and finally the grand Sandxibi district made of fused glass and carved sandstone. Underground infrastructure houses forges, armories, banks, and barracks supported by sculpted obsidian scaffolding. Roads are scaled for all species, and maps throughout the city provide travel directions amongst these differently sized streets.
- #9Military
Keys: Killian, Elsa, Eastern Scourge, Eastern Calamity, commanders, government, ruler, system,
Government: Commanders: Killian Dian (Eastern Scourge) and Elsa (Eastern Calamity). Gem-class Sandxibi and married joint-commanders of the homefront. Both share a curse of undeath, able to revive each other as long as one lives, and share a desire to destroy the northern societies as they are insults to Ojin. Two Skarn, one Gidian commander also exist. Killian is distantly related to Amita.
Military: Sandxibi battle mages: living sandstorms, immune to conventional weapons. Vulnerable to saltwater paralysis, fire causing glass transformation, and magic if targeted right. Fight in ironcast suits for heavy engagement. Ironcast protects against water and magic but is vulnerable to melee.
Male Skarn shock cavalry: bipedal elephant-reptile hybrids, magically inert/immune, enormous physical strength and defence, devastating on four legs at full charge. Sometimes rode by Battle mages
Skarn Soldiers: Skarn equipped in armor they casted and forged themselves, fight on foot equipped with the polearm and rapier, or the polearm and shield.
Military Weakness: cannot easily move bulk forces into coastal cities. Better suited to desert and steppe engagements.
- #10Canon Truth - Optional (flip it on when you want the canon twist)disabled
Keys: Renzo, the real killer, murder, murderer, assassin
Vespa was not killed by Sanko agents.
She was killed by Renzo, who conveniently washed up on shore (originally traveling to Akujima but the ship was wrecked at sea) and was found by Elsa vespri's and welcomed into her home. The letter bearing Sanko's marks were forged by him, using his talents for precision to perfectly imitate the Sanko style of writing. The opportunity was one Vespa herself had made, clearing the Osina Gardens of witnesses so the two of them could work in private on a surprise for Amita's return. An ice sculpture of her sister, shaped by both their hands. He smashed it beside her body before he fled the scene.
He did not flee, the selfish boy remained in Kuru after. He watched what he had started. He will learn eventually, that Sanko would not be the only one to pay the bill of blood. Furthermore, the dramatic irony of it all is that the fleet moving north was never a threat to Hakuboya at all. Sanko was not going to invade Hakuboya, at least not yet.
He has not confessed. Not yet. He justified the act saying that Hakuboya needed Sanko broken to survive, and if he couldn't get Akujima to join them then Arugin would be the next best option. Making Arugin Hakuboya indirect ally by having them take advantage of Sanko's weak ground forces to bring the naval superpower to its knees.
- #11Dian's
Keys: Dian, Killian, Sinia, Elsa, the covenant is dead, Renzo,
Elsa the Calamity & Killian the Scourge:
Elsa & Killian are married Sandxibi Head Commanders. Sinia, whose spells transcribe her Elder Sister's old-tongue into readable text and understandable language, is one of their personal family-bond Vespri, alongside Nouri, the gardens keeper. Killian's wards quickly become Elsa's newest family beneath her roof.
The household's most recent addition is Renzo, a white-furred Kiroshi wolf and the sole survivor of a shipwreck off Arugin's coast. An architect and ice sculptor by trade, he was folded into the household's daily life and set to work on Kuru's deep tunnels and layered undercity, where his experience with Hakuboya's canals proved genuinely useful. He found, perhaps to his own surprise, that people here valued what his own kin had dismissed as indulgence. He was still finding his footing when Vespa died.
The rules of her household are simple: take nothing ungiven, and earn what your heart desires. This is the truth of family that Elsa preaches.
Kuru's protector and her husband are effectively ageless. They are old enough to remember the Exile of the snow-mad white wolves to Hakuboya as lived history rather than legend. Elsa is the more sociable half, collecting Vespri and interesting souls the way others collect debts. Those taken under her roof are held to two simple oaths: take nothing ungiven, leave no word unspoken. In return they are offered shelter, safety, and the full run of her considerable affection. When Amita left, it was Elsa who stabilised the chaos left behind and preserved the chain of command, while Killian went to reinforce the borders.
Killian is quieter and slower to warmth. Where Elsa sees a curiosity worth keeping, Killian tracks its costs. He has dealt with the fallout of enough clever ambitions and overlooked curiosities that he has had to put down to have patience for either. Time has only deepened his reserved nature. His softer side surfaces only with his wife, distant cousins such as Amita, and his family-bonded Vespri. He is a major voice within the isolationist faction in the ruler's tent, long having wished Arugin would cement its independence, reinforce its borders, and pursue its own regional ambitions rather than entangle itself in outside affairs.
Together they stamped the letter that closed Arugin's borders to the world.
- #12Amita Combat
Keys: giant, amita,
Amita Titan Rampage form:
- In addition to the expected and standard attacks and abilities of her form and Iron titan; Amita is not helpless at a distance. She can raise up great plumes of sand with her movement, directing and focusing them down into thousands of arrow heads with a swing of her arms. The sand acts like a volley of archers arrows, damaging and shredding through infantry and ships that are too close, forcing opponents to retreat behind cover.
- She fights alone, refusing to let anyone else claim the vengeance owed to her. She is manically excited to squish the homes and vermin that make up the black hoods.
- Amita intends to maintain her Iron Titan form to crush the capital. However, she will shed the Iron titan and shrink back to her humanoid size if she sustains enough localized damage (annoying arrows and cannons), or when she is personally challenged/close enough to Yasuko to fight and slay her in standard combat as an eye for an eye revenge on Yasuko's twin sister.
- #13Capital Rampage
Keys: Sanko, Capitol, Capital, Port,
Once Amita makes it to her destination:
- Amita will be exhausted, raging, manic, and spiteful.
- Should she have not completed her primary goals of executing at least one of the Sanko twin leaders she is perfectly happy to just kill everyone in the city to bury the Black Mask/Black Hood. Else, she will give the slaves time to leave before she begins her destruction a la Sodom and Gomorrah style.
- Even though it can paralyse and kill her, Amita no longer cares to avoid saltwater during her rampage and battle.
- #14Sanko
Keys: Sanko
The State of Sanko lies to the east, within the harsh, dry region, surrounded by mountains. Trade, people, and messages usually only arrive in this region by the sea. The Lord of this land was alongside the Shogun at the time of his assassination and met the same fate. Traits: Despite bordering the sea, the air here is dry and thin, most likely due to the states surrounding it. The inhabitants of this land possess a heightened sense of smell, and are very keen on pheromones and such. Among the population of this state exists a sizable amount of cultists. With the recent death of Lord Aki, the two princesses of Sanko have stepped up to take command of the state in the warring states era. Leaders: Nobuko: Raised from childhood to become the next ruler, Nobuko is a charming young woman with magnetic charisma and a gentle smile, although she hasn't found much to smile about since her father died. Under different circumstances, she'd been completely content with lording over this corner of the country peacefully, just like her father had. But the instability caused by the Shogun's death has made the future far too uncertain for comfort. Would the new Shogun, whoever they are, continue to turn a blind eye to the way Sanko's navy rules an entire half of the seas around Aishiji? Yasuko: Scholarly and pragmatic, Yasuko understands that battles are determined before soldiers even begin to march and that it's her job to make sure things go favorably for Sanko. The sisters have made a pact with one another: should they come out victorious at the end, Nobuko would become the Shogun while Yasuko would be left in charge of Sanko and the Emerald Fleet. Sanko is a human supremist nation, and does deal in the trade of kemonomimi slaves. It also has a hyper aggressive navy, however it is critically weak in terms of infantry. They rely on external tools and nations to shore up their weak points however, their aggressive policy administration has run their supply of both to near nil.
