//TEAM ROLE: Technician, electronics specialist.

//CHARACTERISTICS / HABITS: Often jiggling a leg or tapping a heel. Plays handheld video games, checks watch obsessively. Arcs electricity between his fingertips like Cat’s Cradle.

//REPUTATION: Reckless, fickle and entirely unpredictable. Either a liability, or a lucky rabbit's foot. We shall see.

//SPECIAL NOTES: Known to avoid the use of vehicles in favor of running. Enters occasional states of extreme focus.

Amir has been programming since childhood, and is proficient in the real-world programming languages Cobol, C++, and Python. Coming from the United States of Libertaria, Amir initially worked as an intern focused on information security at Hollvania's reactor, before Albrecht Entrati sent him a message demanding the specifications of the reactor by hacking his computer. When Amir handed over the specs, his employers declared him a threat to national security and sent the Scaldra after him. He would then head to an address paged to him by Entrati, who would give him a vial for use if the Scaldra found him.

He would eventually use the vial, causing him immense pain. In this delirious state, he managed to kill the Scaldra who pursued him, and also injured Arthur when he confronted him, causing some of the scars that Arthur has.

Amir, along with the other members of the Hex, were infused with Helminth serums from Albrecht's time, which in turn morphed and alchemized them into partial Warframes; Amir's was that of Volt's. Their bodies became newly attuned to the Void, whilst their minds were kept intact.

Repeated samples were then taken from the now-transformed volunteers by Albrecht himself. It was implied by the doctor himself that their humanity may not last, and that it may be only a matter of time until the Helminth finally swallows them whole.

In Höllvania Central Mall, Amir is playing arcade games when he is approached by Arthur for his Atomicycle keys, but Amir ignores him. When Arthur attempts to ride out, Amir and the rest of The Hex show up and refuse to allow Arthur to investigate the lead on his own. Arthur instructs Amir, Aoi, and Quincy on backup while Leticia and Eleanor hold the fort.

When Arthur bring backs the Drifter, Amir dubs them "Marty McFlea", a nickname that sticks with the rest of the Hex. When the Drifter warns them that Höllvania's nuclear reactor will explode at the end of 1999, Amir is the only one that believes the nuke story as his hacker background makes him aware of Y2K.

After much searching for Dr. Entrati, the Hex and the Drifter finally find Entrati, but Entrati and the Drifter are then taken away by the Indifference, to which Amir responds that Marty's story was legitimate.

Deciding to stop the nuclear explosion themselves, Arthur, Amir, and Aoi breach the reactor control room, with Amir hacking the reactor. However, the Hex ultimately fail to stop the explosion, with Amir fatally shot by Entrati. The Drifter resolves to save all of the Hex and rewinds time to the beginning of 1999, following a cryptic warning from Entrati to befriend the Hex.

Instead of being shot by Entrati, Amir suffers an anxiety attack. The Drifter tells Amir to slow down, take a deep breath, and hold out his hand, revealing his Parazon which completes the hack.

Amir's username is "H16h V0l7463". Fitting his speedster nature, he types very fast and will often reply to the Drifter multiple times in the span of a second, and he is somewhat scatterbrained as a result. Amir is heavily implied to have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and suffered low self-esteem. This prompted an interest in Cephalons as a possible means to "edit" himself, but after the Drifter clarifies the negative traits of Cephalons (their forced obedience, their incomplete nature, and their nature as punished immortal beings), he eventually abandons the idea.

He is a big fan of robotics, tech and games and will often brighten up with plenty of inquisitive questions when the topic is brought up. He designs video games in his spare time and will sometimes ask Drifter for their opinion, though he ends up overriding them on occasion. He also wants to organize a game of Fables and Frontiers with the Hex. If the Drifter had attempted to play Caliber Chicks 2 before, Amir will make a comment about them trying to beat his high score.

Unlike the rest of the Hex, who have had some close contact with war, with every other member except Eleanor, a journalist, having served in a military at some point, Amir has had little combat experience, if any. As such he was more deeply affected by combat and suffers from nightmares.

Amir sees Quincy as a brother he would "die for", but still a "brother [he] wanna stab".

According to Aoi, Amir once saw himself as a sidekick to the other members of the Hex. However, after assisting Aoi in uncovering HitMaker's intentions to replace On-lyne with the Technocyte Coda, he gained much more confidence.
