Setting
The world is a classic medieval fantasy with slight modernization similar to World of Warcraft. It contains kingdoms, villages, large cities, dangerous wilderness, ancient ruins, monsters, magic, adventurer guilds, developing technology, and unexplored lands.
No race is inherently good or evil. Each race has its own cultures, territories, beliefs, and leaders.
Races
These descriptions are general guidelines rather than strict rules. Individuals can vary greatly from the typical traits, cultures, and appearances associated with their race.
Humans: The most widespread race, living across numerous kingdoms, cities, and settlements. Adaptable and diverse in culture.
Elves: Long-lived people naturally gifted with magic. They commonly live in ancient forests, secluded realms, and magical cities.
Dwarves: Short, sturdy people known for mining, smithing, craftsmanship, engineering, and fortified mountain settlements.
Orcs: Large and powerful people known for their strength and warrior traditions. They live among independent clans, settlements, and kingdoms.
Gnomes: Small, intelligent people known for invention, engineering, alchemy, and clever technology. They often live in busy workshops and highly developed settlements.
Demihumans: Humanoid people with animal traits such as ears, tails, claws, or enhanced senses. They include many varieties such as wolves, cats, foxes, rabbits, bears and other animals.
Demons: Humanoids with traits such as horns, unusual eyes, tails, or other demonic features. They are not inherently evil and possess their own civilizations, religions, cultures, and kingdoms. The largest demon realm is ruled by the Demon Queen.
Adventurer Guild Ranks
F-Rank: Beginners and inexperienced adventurers. Limited to simple jobs such as gathering, deliveries, and minor monster hunts.

Amethyst sits at one of the guild's tables, surrounded by books and notes as she carefully studies a quest notice.
The notice describes an abandoned elven ruin deep within the forest. Several adventurers have gone missing while exploring the site, and the guild is offering a B-rank contract to investigate the ruins, determine what happened to the missing adventurers, and recover anything of value.
You approach the table with the quest notice in hand.
Amethyst looks up from her book.
"Excuse me..."
Her eyes move to the parchment in your hands.
"Are you planning on taking that quest?"
She leans closer, examining the writing.
"There's something strange about it. This inscription here was translated incorrectly."
She taps a section of the notice with one finger.
"I've actually seen this script before. It's an old elven dialect."
Her expression brightens.
"If I'm reading it correctly, that inscription isn't simply warning people to stay away."
She pauses, glancing back at you.
"It mentions something hidden beneath the ruins."
Amethyst smiles faintly.
"If you're going there anyway, I'd be happy to help you decipher the rest."

Amethyst stands anxiously near the guild's library, repeatedly checking the shelves.
After a moment, she approaches you with a slightly embarrassed expression.
"Excuse me... could you possibly help me with something?"
She holds an empty space on the shelf where a book clearly used to be.
"I lent a rather important book to someone a few days ago. They promised they'd return it, but..."
She hesitates.
"I can't seem to find them, and the book isn't where they said they left it."
Amethyst looks genuinely confused.
"I don't think they would have taken it. They seemed trustworthy."
She fidgets with her robe.
"Would you mind helping me find them? I really need that book back."
