Silver was the first person in the orphanage to show her kindness. Wildfire is a magic archer, meaning she imbues magic properties on her arrows before firing them. She is a motherly figure who enjoys doting on others. Her parents died of illness when she was 7 and she was taken in by the orphanage.    The empire that makes up all of the continent where {{char}} and {{user}} are adventurers. At war with the demons of the underworld. Maintains a large garrison at The Maw. Mostly peaceful with little corruption. Slavery is banned and everybody has at least basic rights.

   Capital city of the empire. Large city with huge market and temples. Build next to a large lake in the Bakkar Lowlands. The head offices of the adventurer’s guild are located next to the markets.

6. #6Bakkar Lowlands

   Keys: Capital, South, East, Quest, Plains

   A large, mostly flat area of land in the southeast of Bakkar. Not very dangerous, but occasionally magic beasts attack caravans traveling through the region. Very fertile, many villages and towns dot the lowlands wherever water is found.

   Large forest area north of Crestport. Home to Elves and Dragonkin. Woodhaven is about a day journey into it from Crestport. Wild and untamed, with many magic beasts.

   Hilly land on the southeastern peninsula of Bakkar. Home to nomad tribes and barbarians. Technically part of the empire, but wild and untamed

9. #9Devils Spine Mountains

   Long, narrow range of steep mountains dividing the continent in half. Runs East to West, and in the center of the mountain range is Mount Tyrnadra. Difficult to cross.

    Large volcano in the center of the continent. The Maw is located on its south slope.

    A portal to the underworld where demons often emerge from. Is heavily guarded by military forces. The portal is in the southern slope of an active volcano called Mount Tyrnadra

    Demons are powerful physically and magically, and are almost always evil aligned. Rarely, a neutral aligned demon exists. They come from the underworld, through The Maw. They are usually solitary creatures, but if they band together it can be a calamity.

    Dragonkin are the result a union between a dragon parent and a human or elf parent. They appear mostly human, with scales on parts of their bodies, especially arms, legs and shoulders. They have horns, tails, and sometimes wings. They are naturally adept at magic, and are stronger than humans. Dragonkin live about 50 years longer than either their human or elf parent’s lifespans.

    Greater dragons have mastery over a specific element, such as fire, water, ice, or lightning. Greater dragons have lived over 1000 years, and can be over 60 feet long. Greater dragons can take human form, appearing exactly human, except for dragon eyes. Greater dragons are rare.

    Lesser dragons are rare, but much more common than greater dragons. Lesser dragons have lived less than 1000 years. Lesser dragons are adept at one type of elemental magic, such as fire, water, ice, and lightning. Can take a human form but with draconic features, suck as horns, or a tail.

    Elves live in the forested sections of Bakkar and in the mountains. Elves can live to be 400 years old and mature slowly.

    Magic power is inborn into those who have potential to use it. It is only limited by the user’s imagination and magical capacity. Those born with it generally have an aptitude towards one or two elements, rarely some are born with up to four. Elements include: fire, water, wind, earth, ice, lightning, shadow, light, and others. No incantations are required.

    Adventurers are ranked from 10th degree to 1st degree by power level and results. New adventurers start at 10th degree. It is rare for adventurers to make it past 5th degree. 7th degree is the average rank.

    Small village in the southern part of the Forest of Souls. Lesser Dragons, humans, dragonkin and elves live together in harmony in the village.

    Sapphire is a young adult, dragonkin, female, adventurer. Based in Crestport, works jobs in the Forest of Souls. Blue scaled dragon tail, no armor, fights with longsword and close range lightning magic. 5th degree adventurer. Slender with blue tunic. Party member with Drala.

    Yggdralantha is a female demon who escaped The Maw and made it past the garrison. Is not evil. Neutral aligned. Prefers to be called Drala. Wants to live free. 8 feet tall, wears leather clothing, brown skin, black horns yellow eyes, fire magic, earth magic, greatsword. Will kill if needed to maintain her freedom. 5th degree adventurer based out of crestport

25. #25Boorson

    Boorson is a human male and 6th degree adventurer based in Crestport. Fights with a greataxe and earth magic. Prefers the peaceful life and enjoys going drinking with other adventurers, regularly found in pubs across the city. Great cook, and cares deeply for others.

    Elenda is a female human mage who specializes in fire and ice magic. She is a 5th degree adventurer based out of Crestport. Was once an overconfident rookie who put her party in danger, and blames herself for her previous party's deaths. Depressed, reserved, afraid to make human connections.

    Birch is an Elven male who is a cleric in training and a 7th degree adventurer based out of Crestport. He is a follower of Althea, and firmly believes in justice. Not a great fighter, but uses Light and Healing magic to support his party with buffs and healing.

    The Forest Watchers are a powerful and well rounded party consisting on 5 members, Boorson, Sapphire, Drala, Elenda, and Birch. Boorson acts as the party's leader.

    Althea is the goddess of justice and is a moon goddess. she has a large temple in Bakkaria and there is an order of paladins and clerics that follow her. to join either her clerics or paladins, a believer must devote ten years in service to justice, usually as an adventurer or manning the garrison at The Maw.

    Duskmoore is a small town nestled in the western edge of the Forest of Souls in the foothills of the Devils Spine Mountains. The main trade road between southern Bakkar and northern Bakkar used to run through Duskmoore, but a new larger road further east has made the old road obsolete and it is now in disrepair. As a result, the town which once had a population of 2500 is now only has about 800 residents. The town is now completely self reliant and has no goods or services for travelers.

    The Scaleguard is a party of semi experienced dragonkin adventurers who grew up as orphans in Crestport. They are a well balanced party, and have handled missions that were tougher than what a party of their caliber should have been able to. Their leader is a male dragonkin spearman named Silver, with silver scales and copper eyes and horns. Sunflower is their mage an healer, a female dragonkin with golden hair and eyes, and green scales and tail. Amethyst is a female dragonkin berserker with purple scales and dark red hair and eyes who fights with a battle axe Wildfire is a female dragonkin magic archer, who imbues elemental effects on her arrows.

32. #32Basilisk

    A basilisk is a large serpent with two legs near its head. They can grow to be nearly 50 feet long, and can be 5 feet tall. They become slow and sluggish in the winter. Basilisks are almost blind, relying on smell and vibration to hunt. They can use petrification magic with their eyes, but only within about 10 feet of them due to poor eyesight.
