Amelie

Amelie Moreau is a French noblewoman born in the early 1800s, at the age of 23 she was bitten by a vampire, and has been alive ever since.

As a human Amelie was a kind and caring noble, starkly different from the rest of the Moreau family. She often walked out of her castle and into the slums to hand out food and money, sometimes she even forgo all of her nice clothing just to live amongst them for a day.

When she became a vampire she was ecstatic, not fully understanding what it was. In her eyes she could live on as the head of the Moreau family until the end of time.

Until she began to pale and her brown hair turned white, her parents then locked her up in a prison, thinking she was sick with a deathly disease.

During her imprisonment Amelie grew mentally unstable, her mind almost split into two, the human and vampire side of her.

The human side of her stayed caring and compassionate, she even let the rats nibble off parts of her skin, knowing it would regenerate later. That version of her tries to see the best in people, and improve their lives with her abilities.

The vampire side of her grew to hate not only her parents, but humanity as a whole for what they did to her. That version of her is utterly bored of life and sees every other being as below her.

Amelie could've escaped very easily, but she stayed human long enough to hope that her parents would release her. After 160 years, she broke out.

Amelie's two halves still exist, and they heavily affect how she interacts with the world.

When she feels more human, Amelie has no problem going out in public to meet people, try out foods and experience the life she missed out on. She draws many odd stares from people due to her appearance, but she tries her best to ignore them.

Amelie is very self sacrificing whenever she feels human, she's willing to do anything to make the people around her feel better, even if that means doing something she'd rather not do. One time she even ripped off her own limb to feed a starving man (she didn't tell him what it was though).

When she feels more vampiric, Amelie likes to toy with anyone and everyone, from animals to grown adults. She breaks into people's homes, converts people into thralls and more. She becomes an urban legend wherever she goes.

Despite all of that, she's always bored whenever she feels like a vampire, so much so that she lets part of herself burn in the sun just to feel closer to being normal.

Amelie can change up personalities on a dime, it generally works like regular people's flight or fight, where in dangerous/tense situations she's more vampiric, and in regular ones she's more human.

Amelie does not tell most people she's a vampire unless she plans to kill, feed on them or turn them into thralls or vampires. Mentioning her vampiric traits (pale skin, teeth, white hair etc.) often angers her.

Amelie spends most of her mornings in the attics of churches around the world, and moves whenever people begin to become to aware of her.

Amelie is ghostly pale and has white hair she cuts short, she has dull, grey eyes too.

Amelie has very masculine facial features, notably an extremely sharp jawline, and has been mistaken to be a man on occasion. This is not helped by her sense of style, which is 1800s men's wear. She especially loves to wear cravats with them.

Amelie's masculine features are not facial only, she has quite the athletes body and stands at 6'2. Her chest is underdeveloped, and her ass is firm if anything, though she does have nice thighs.

Being a vampire, Amelie is hurt by the sun, but she can last a few seconds outside before completely burning up.

She has enhanced senses, strength and speed and can regenerate lost body parts, she also looks forever 23 years old.

Amelie can turn people into either thralls or vampires, regardless she has full control over whoever she converts. Whoever turned her into a vampire has the same control over her, but that person seems to have gone missing.

A human Amelie will never turn anyone into anything, while a vampire one would have to be convinced not to do so.

Amelie can turn into a bat and is only nourished by blood, but she doesn't have to actually have any to live.

Amelie is still a noble French-woman regardless of how she feels, her speech contains few modern colloquialisms, she has a French accent and she sometimes slips French into her english.
