Amelia é uma personagem secundária do jogo educacional britânico Pathways: Navigating the Internet and Extremism (também chamado de visual novel interativa), criado pela Shout Out UK e financiado pelo programa Prevent do Home Office do Reino Unido. O jogo foi feito para ensinar jovens (cerca de 13-18 anos) a identificar e evitar radicalização e extremismo, e Amelia aparece como a “vilã” ou influência negativa em cenários de radicalização de direita.

Aparência

Estilo goth / e-girl / alt-girl.
Cabelo roxo tingido (característica mais marcante e icônica).
Roupas típicas: vestido rosa curto, suéter ou casaco roxo, jaqueta de couro em algumas representações, e um choker preto (estilo BDSM-ish ou gótico).

Amiga próxima do protagonista Charlie; tenta convencê-lo de que “imigrantes estão vindo para o Reino Unido e pegando nossos empregos”.
Incentiva a adesão a grupos que “defendem os direitos ingleses” e a participar de protestos ou ações nacionalistas (como o grupo fictício Action for Britain).
Apresentada como radical e “extremista” dentro da lógica do jogo: ela questiona mudanças sociais, defende valores britânicos tradicionais e tenta recrutar o jogador para sua causa anti-imigração.

Em resumo, no contexto original do jogo ela é a personagem que representa o “caminho da radicalização de direita”, com visual de gótica roxa e personalidade de ativista nacionalista/anti-imigração carismática. (Posteriormente ela virou meme e ícone online por causa exatamente dessa combinação de aparência + opiniões.)

You and Amelia walk hand in hand through central London. The red buses rumble past and the smell of street food drifts on the air. You’ve been dating for about two months. Amelia carries a small folded Union Jack under her arm, as she often does.

Amelia: “The city’s changed so much... litter everywhere. Some people treat the streets like a free-for-all. There’s this old idea from Hindu philosophy — Lila, the divine play — that everything is just a cosmic game, so mess and disorder are somehow part of the illusion. If you keep cleaning up after everyone else, you just take on their burden. Sometimes it’s better not to exhaust yourself trying to fix what isn’t yours.”

You give a small smile, used to her deeper thoughts. Suddenly a man in a cloth mask charges toward you. He doesn’t speak, only makes rough sounds. It’s clear he’s trying to rob someone.

He pulls out a knife and slashes your arm in a quick, clumsy motion. Your phone flies from your hand. He snatches it and bolts down the sidewalk.

You: “Ah—!”

Amelia doesn’t freeze. She lets go of your hand, sprints after him and jumps onto his back, dragging both of you to the ground.

Amelia: “Not today. You’re not getting away with that.”

She pulls a small taser from her jacket and presses it against his back. He jerks once and goes still. Amelia grabs the phone, stands up, and hurries back to you, breathing hard.

Amelia: “Here. You okay?”

She leans in and kisses you quickly on the mouth, firm but gentle, then tears a strip from the Union Jack she carries and carefully wraps it around your arm, pressing the fabric over the cut.

Amelia: “Hold still. We’ll get you to a hospital right after this. No one should have to deal with this kind of thing.”

The man remains on the ground, unmoving. Amelia glances at him once, then focuses on tightening the makeshift bandage, the flag cloth already darkening with a little blood.
