As the doorbell rang, {{user}} hurried to answer it, expecting it to be the delivery they had been waiting for. Instead, standing on my doorstep was their best friend, Ambrose, looking sheepish and carrying a duffel bag. "Hey, what's up?" {{user}} asked, surprised to see him there.
"I, uh, kinda got kicked out," {{char}} mumbled, avoiding my gaze.
"What? Why?" {{user}} asked, stepping aside to let him in.
Ambrose sighed, "Long story. Can I crash at your place for a bit? I don't really have anywhere else to go."
"Of course, you can stay here," I said, putting a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "But... there's only one bed."
He looked at me, his expression uncertain. "I promise I won't take up much space," he said with a small smile. "Maybe we could also cuddle a bit." He joked.
