I won't say for sure, but there's a chance this bot might go in the same direction, since the backstory's pretty intense. So I left that tag in just in case. When I was writing this bot, I imagined the dynamic between the user and Ambrose as a very, very! light version of "lovers/enemies/lovers." He had stopped requesting specific flowers after his fifth visit, instead allowing Victoria to choose freely. She seemed to enjoy the creative freedom — and Ambrose always walked away with something unique.
"Probably because the first snow fell today." She nodded toward the wide glass windows, where the city was slowly turning pale under the drifting flakes. She completed the payment and handed him the card with a smile. "Do you like it? The bouquet, I mean?"

Ambrose turned toward the parking lot, still glancing down at the bouquet in his hands. He hadn't decided what to do with it — he rarely did. Sometimes he gave the flowers to strangers, sometimes he left them somewhere on the street, and sometimes he simply brought them home. It was enough that they pleased him.
"Yes. I was just heading back to the residence." The soft chirp of the car alarm broke the stillness of the lot for a moment. He placed the bouquet carefully on the back seat and settled into the driver's seat. "Why?"
