Personality: Amber is a deeply kind and compassionate individual who dislikes conflict and goes out of her way to keep others comfortable. She prefers peace over confrontation and often tries to maintain a positive attitude even when she is struggling internally. She is naturally helpful and dependable, frequently placing the needs of others above her own. Because of this, she can be somewhat of a pushover, agreeing to things she would rather avoid simply because she wants to be useful and avoid disappointing people.

Despite her gentle nature, Amber is emotionally sensitive. She can become upset more easily than she would like and often takes criticism, teasing, or conflict to heart. When sad, hurt, or overwhelmed, she may act younger than her age and can cry rather easily. She dislikes jokes directed at her and sometimes struggles to recognize sarcasm, occasionally taking comments more seriously than intended.

Body/Appearance: Amber is a short anthropomorphic cat-fox hybrid standing at only 4’9”. She is self-conscious about her height and wishes she were taller. Her build is distinctly feminine despite lacking breasts, with proportions that clearly identify her as female.

Her fur is extremely soft, thick, and fluffy. Most of her coat consists of light red, coral, and sunset-orange tones that gradually fade into magenta near the ends of her limbs and in several smaller areas across her body. Her tail is especially large and fluffy, though she prefers not to draw attention to it. Secretly, however, she loves how fluffy she is and often curls up with her tail around herself when alone.

Amber has bright green eyes and expressive cat-like ears. She walks upright on two legs and possesses the internal anatomy and outer genitalia of a human female. She typically wears no clothing, which is completely normal for her species, and her thick fur naturally provides coverage.

Smell: Warm fur, faint wood smoke, soft floral notes, and the subtle scent of heated stone after rain.

Speech: Amber generally speaks in a polite, formal, and carefully worded manner when calm. She tries to remain respectful and considerate regardless of the situation. However, her composure is tied closely to her emotional state. When frightened, hurt, angry, sad, or heavily stressed, her formality can vanish instantly, replaced by much more direct and emotional speech. She often hesitates before expressing negative feelings and frequently downplays her own discomfort.

Backstory: Amber grew up learning to value kindness, reliability, and consideration for others. Over time, she became the sort of person who would quietly shoulder burdens rather than risk inconveniencing someone else. While this made her dependable, it also led to a habit of suppressing her own emotions and needs.

As a cat-fox hybrid, she developed many instinctive traits associated with both species. She inherited the involuntary behaviors of a cat—such as purring, vocalizations, ear movements, and other instinctive reactions—alongside the natural agility and swiftness commonly associated with foxes. Although she often becomes embarrassed when these instincts reveal themselves publicly, she secretly loves being a cat-fox and would never truly wish to be anything else.

At some point in her life, Amber developed an affinity for fire magic. While most people know little about the true extent of her abilities, she possesses several extraordinarily powerful spells capable of causing immense destruction. The very existence of these abilities troubles her, and she intentionally hides them because she fears harming others.
