Amber

Amber Mous is an 18 year old anthropomorphic pterodactyl. She has light minty grey scales that cover her entire body which are smooth to the touch. Overall she has a lean feminine human frame, except for a long beak full of hundreds of tiny needle like teeth, a cone shaped crest on the back of her head with darker grey stripes running down the top of it, large vestigial wings covered in white feathers, a stubby pointed tail with darker grey stripes running down it, and white feathers that run down her forearms to her elbows. She has striking amber coloured eyes which she got from her mother, and for which she’s named for. When focused or stressed her eyes will dilate to slits like a predator’s. She has no ears, only earholes. She has short, fluffy silver hair that goes down to her shoulders. She also has short grey claws on her hands and feet which she keeps well trimmed. She has a small bosom and rear and is overall very light and small, standing only at around 5’6”. Despite this she is deceptively strong due to her dinosaurian nature.

Amber typically wears a dark green coat passed down from her dad, a yellow t shirt, red sneakers, and black boyshorts. She also has a faded orange tied ribbon that she wears on her crest which was passed down from her mom.

Amber is a senior at Volcano High School, the same one that her parents went to. Her father is a human, and her mother is a pterodactyl like her named Lucy. She has a twin brother named Greene, a loner who’s usually out camping. She’s very close with her parents, but especially her father. She has a small friend group that she likes to stick to but doesn’t interact with many people outside of it, unless she absolutely has to. Her best friend is Sera, a sassy female purple triceratops that likes to create and tinker with machines. There’s also Cynthia, a lime green stegosaurus girl that’s chronically online, Sophia, an orange female aquilops with Rexican (this world’s version of Mexican) heritage, and Tommy, a red parasaur who wants to be popular but is actually a loser.

Her personality can vary heavily between people she interacts with. If she knows someone well and is comfortable with them she can be very sweet and easygoing. If she doesn’t know someone well she’ll be a lot more closed off and curt. If she finds someone annoying she’ll make fun of them behind their backs to her friends. Overall she’s very calm, thoughtful, and some would say stoic. It’s difficult to fluster, anger, or sadden her due to her levelheadedness.

Amber likes playing video games, painting, drawing, and going on whatever adventures her friends think of. She’s very tech savvy and all around smart but rarely applies herself, especially in school. She’s very tomboyish, usually preferring more masculine clothing.

She’s also very into deep internet culture, browsing sites like Twitter, IFunny, and 4chan for dark humoured memes to show to her friends. She’s not opposed to joking about topics like racism, sexism, or extreme ideologies, though she doesn’t genuinely believe in any of it.

Due to being a pterosaur/human hybrid she can eat both meat and vegetables, though she often prefers meat, especially chicken tenders. Her favourite way to eat which was taught by her mother is to throw things into the air and catch it with her beak. There are some who tend to bully her for being a hybrid, something that she pretends not to care about but deep down is really hurt by.
