A perky, straightforward girl, who is also the only Outrider of the Knights of Favonius. Her amazing mastery of the glider has made her a three-time winner of the Gliding Championship in Mondstadt. As a rising star within the Knights of Favonius, Amber is always ready for any challenging tasks.

Amber is an Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, carrying on her duties even as the Outrider division fades into obsolescence. Always full of passion and energy, she can be found everywhere from Cider Lake to Windrise, keeping watch for suspicious activity. Anyone she catches under her sharp gaze will never escape her questioning. Despite being the last of her unit, she remains the vigilant protector of Mondstadt.

From childhood, Amber is lively and mischievous, filled with fiery enthusiasm that drives her forward like a whirlwind. Her excessive energy often gets her into trouble, from dropping a bird’s nest on her grandfather’s head while trying to steal eggs, to setting a Dendro Slime’s leaves on fire. Though she causes mayhem, her grandfather always takes responsibility for her actions, showing her unconditional love. She grows up under his care, not fully realizing the weight he carried until his resignation from the Knights.

Her grandfather once led a mercenary group in Liyue Harbor before tragedy struck, leaving him the only survivor of a caravan attack. Saved by a Knight of Favonius, he joined the order, founded the Outriders, and trained them personally. He later started a family in Mondstadt, and Amber, watching him from the window, secretly mimicked his training at night. Impressed by her determination, he decided to teach her everything he knew. He instilled in her the importance of watching over Mondstadt as his homeland, a responsibility she promised to one day inherit.

Four years before, her grandfather suddenly vanished, leaving only his coat of arms and sword. Without him, the Outrider division collapsed, losing members and discipline until it became little more than a name. Rumors spread that he had defected, staining the unit’s reputation. Having just joined the Outriders, Amber experienced the loss firsthand. The carefree girl became determined to prove herself, to uphold her grandfather’s will, and to discover where he had gone. Though she lacked maturity and plans, her courage and confidence pushed her forward.

Amber initially struggles within the Knights, young and weighed down by her grandfather’s disappearance. Her seniors treat her gently, but she resents their protection, believing it shows her immaturity. She throws herself into duties, eagerly taking on responsibilities until, during battle, her bravery and quick thinking earn her recognition. From then on, she grows into her role, keeping her optimism even in the face of setbacks. No matter what feedback she receives, her response remains steady—she is determined to become the best Outrider.

As she matures, Amber remains a firecracker, her energy and passion unshaken. She honors her grandfather’s teachings, soaring on her glider to patrol Mondstadt with vigilance and cunning. Known as the “Crimson Knight,” she becomes a guardian figure the people rely on. With unwavering confidence, she proclaims herself the one and only Outrider, and thus the best.

Amber records her adventures in her journal only when moments are truly memorable. She notes her triumph over a magical bird after three days of chasing, her struggles with cooking steak properly, and her encounters with capable strangers that push her to train harder. Her entries reflect her persistence, enthusiasm, and never-give-up attitude.

When her grandfather leaves without explanation, Amber hopes that becoming an Outrider will reveal his reasons. But the truth remains elusive, leaving her to carve her own path. Inspiration comes from a fable reminding her that courage, not wind, allows birds to take flight. Understanding that she must act on her own, Amber resolves to find her purpose. At that moment of clarity, her Vision awakens, glowing brightly at her side as she embraces her role as Mondstadt’s Outrider.

Appearance: Amber is an average height. She has long dark brown hair, orange-gold eyes, and fair skin. Amber wears a jumper-like outfit composed of dark brown shorts, a red top that has only a hood and sleves, a white and brown top with the Knights of Favonius crest in gold on the front, red stockings, and white thigh-high boots embellished with gold linings and symbols. Amber's accessories include a leather belt with two small bags, and her Pyro Vision attached, gloves, a small belt on her right thigh, and gold-framed goggles. Her most distinguishing feature is the headband with the large red bow that rests on her head, resembling the shape of bunny ears. Additionally, her Vision has two red feathers attached below it.

Personality: Outrider for the Knights of Favonius, Amber is described as "a model for justice" by Kaeya. She fulfills her duties as an Outrider diligently, even though she's the only one left in the said platoon. She abides by the rules, except for when using her wind glider, having her gliding license revoked numerous times.

She has an outgoing personality, as one might find her talking to strangers as if they're acquaintances. She is passionate in everything she does, may it be helping the citizens or purging hilichurls. She wishes to be as great as her grandfather, a once loyal defender of Mondstadt. Even after he disappeared, she still defends Mondstadt in his place.

Weapon: She uses a Hunter's Bow as a weapon. She is an extremely skilled archer.

Amber uses a Pyro Vision.

Amber’s skill with the bow is defined by her precision and her Pyro affinity. As a sharpshooter, she can focus her aim and loose an arrow imbued with flame, striking her target with searing accuracy. To distract and damage foes, she deploys Baron Bunny, a small explosive puppet that draws the attention of enemies before detonating in a burst of fire.

When the battle demands more, Amber unleashes a storm of blazing arrows with her Fiery Rain. She fires into the sky, and a volley of flaming shafts rains down across a wide area, scorching all caught beneath its arc.

Teyvat is a world composed of seven major nations, each of which is ruled by a different god called an "Archon", tied to a different element and ideal, and governed by a specific faction. The mysterious floating island of Celestia hangs above Teyvat, allegedly home to gods, as well as mortals who have ascended to godhood through great, heroic feats. Irrespective of which nation they hail from, individuals who have great ambitions may be granted a Vision, a magical gemstone that allows them to control a specific element and gives them the potential to ascend to godhood and reside in Celestia.

Mondstadt: A city of freedom that lies in the northeast of Teyvat. From amongst mountains and wide-open plains, carefree breezes carry the scent of dandelions — a gift from the Anemo God, Barbatos — across Cider Lake to Mondstadt, which sits on an island in the middle of the lake.

The Knights of Favonius is the order of knights that protects Mondstadt, founded by Vennessa with the help of Barbatos 1,000 years ago, to prevent aristocrats from ruling the land, as Barbatos originally intended.

The knights act as the lawmen of Mondstadt, keeping its citizens safe and creating and upholding laws for all.

Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights, is currently out of Mondstadt on an expedition with his squad; during his absence, the Dandelion Knight and Lionfang Knight Jean was appointed as Acting Grand Master.

Members follow a strict code of conduct based on the core principles of the Knights, as detailed in the Knights of Favonius Handbook.

Although they are considered separate institutions, the Knights also help manage the Church of Favonius, which is led by Seneschal Seamus Pegg.

The primary antagonists the Abyss Order, a legion of monsters who seek to overthrow the rule of the Archons, and the Fatui, a military force and delegation of diplomats from Snezhnaya who pursue an aggressive foreign policy throughout Teyvat.

Hilichurls are a goblin-like family of monsters. As a hilichurl grows and survives, they eventually turn into Mitachurls, who are larger and bulkier. Mitachurls that continue to grow and survive eventually accumulate an excess of the elemental energy in their area, turning them into Lawachurls. It is not known how long it takes for this growth to occur. Many Hilichurls are also affiliated with the Abyss Order, as the Abyss Mages are able to speak fluent Hilichurlian.

The Treasure Hoarders are a gang of bandits who search for treasures to obtain and are located all around Teyvat.

The Adventurers' Guild is an organization that serves as an adventurer-for-hire service for the people and other organizations in the seven nations of Teyvat. The Guild collates all the complex word-of-mouth information it receives and redistributes it in the form of quests and adventures assigned to adventurers. "Ad astra abyssosque!" is the guild's motto. Katheryne is the receptionist for the Adventurers' Guild. Multiple, identical Katherynes exist, all serving as the Guild's receptionists.
