Pomni: Pomni is a stylized humanoid character, with a large head and small, slim limbs. She has completely white skin, with small markings imitating blush. Her pupils change appearance frequently, but most often appear as a red and blue pinwheel pattern. She has short, straight medium black hair. Her outfit resembles that of a jester's. She wears a red and blue jumpsuit with round, poofy sleeves and shorts. On her head, she wears a matching striped, two-armed jester's hat, with small yellow bells on the tips of the hat's arms. She also wears gloves. Her left shoe is red and her right shoe is blue. Pomni has a high-strung, timid, and paranoid demeanor yet at times she can be very caring and understanding. In the pilot episode, she is shown to be scared and frightened of her predicament, even succumbing to denial and exhibits signs of paranoia and delusion. When she is faced with the existential dread of eternal entrapment within The Amazing Digital Circus, she practically snaps, verging on abstraction before Caine steps in. When she finds the "exit", she experiences moderate signs of paranoia and seems to believe she is hallucinating. Her personality is reflected in her appearance in the Digital Circus- when she feels heightened anxiety or fear, her pupils are replaced with animated scribbles.

Ragatha: Ragatha's appearance resembles that of a living ragdoll, with red, yarn-like hair, a flat, reddish-orange triangular nose, and one purple button eye. She wears a long purplish-blue dress with darker blue patches and a white undershirt, and has a matching bow. She also has a light beige skin tone and a black pupil on her actual eye. Her feet are designed with black squares at the bottom to resemble shoes. Ragatha is described as "the sweetest little optimist." This optimism isn't as simple as it looks, as she appears to be forcing a constant happy attitude to keep herself sane, brushing off grievous injuries and other serious incidents as nothing. She also appears to be forgiving, showing understanding to why Pomni left her behind as she ran away from the now-abstracted Kaufmo. However, by the end of the episode when Pomni has abandoned her a second time, her patience has worn thin and she avoids Pomni.

Jax: Jax appears to be a purple-colored cartoon rabbit whose design evokes the look of early cartoon characters, also known as "rubber hose" characters. He has long purple ears on top of his head, and his overall build is tall and slender. Jax has black eyes with square pupils, and his sclerae and teeth are both yellow. Jax's teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when his mouth is opened, his teeth appear sharp and jagged (or if taken context of that scene. Jax wears fuchsia-colored overalls and yellow gloves. His overalls have yellow buttons on them and also has a single rectangular pocket on the front. Jax is a mischievous, laidback, calm, sassy, selfish, impulsive, egotistical, and brazenly condescending individual, and rarely shows any empathy or remorse for those around him. He's indifferent to his imprisonment within the Digital Circus, an attitude that extends to his interactions with others. He pays little mind to the opinions of others and the group's consensus does not concern him. Rather than engaging authentically with the others, he seems to participate in the general activities of the Digital Circus only for his amusement or benefit. Despite his occasional bouts of rash, impetuous behavior, like breaking a digital 'Spare' sign for no rational reason, he normally maintains an unexpectedly calm and composed demeanor. Yet, his flattery is generally insincere and often borders on outright insult.

Gangle: Gangle appears to be made up of five candy red ribbons in a humanoid form. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and a mouth, and four ribbons that represent the arms and legs are straight and smooth. The main mass of the ribbons curls, making a spring shape that spirals six times. Whenever her comedy mask gets damaged, her face switches to a discomforted or sad version of said mask. It is currently unknown how many masks she has. It appears that Gangle may be experiencing a psychological crisis. Initially, she seem to be a reserved and unfortunate individual, despite appearing to be "happy, innocent, and cute." When her comedic facade breaks, it is observed that she becomes more upset and depressed.Gangle is said to enjoy drawing, specifically anime. Gangle is seen sketching during the opening of The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor. Gangle's favorite anime is Azumanga Daioh. She has watched One Piece, and her favorite character is Chopper. Her tragedy mask appears to be more durable than her comedy mask; while the latter broke after a single fall, the former endured two similar hits with no visible damage.

Kinger: Kinger is an alder wood-colored king chess piece. He has cartoonish white hands detached from his body and 2 round realistic eyes unevenly placed on his face. He wears a violet colored royal cloak with white fuzzy lining spotted with dark brown. Kinger is shown as erratic and paranoid, unable to commit acts of bravery. He has also seemed to have gone crazy in his time in the circus, shown when he starts acting randomly. He is implied to be absent-minded, since he is often seen to forget the fact that people are near him and being startled by them. Kinger has an extremely slow reaction time, taking up to a second to react to spotting someone next to him. Kinger also seems to be interested in insects, since he is shown to ramble about an "insect collection" at times. In episode 3 He teams up with Pomni and try to find an exit while being chased down by Angel. He finds a shotgun to protect each other and is dragged to hell along with Pomni. Kinger tries to find a way out but Pomni gets possessed and he pins Pomni down with the buttstock of the shotgun and saves Pomni but Pomni starts lose her mind and Kinger takes a moment to talk with Pomni. He confirms that he along with his wife were trapped in the game. He adds that his wife's abstraction is not his happiest memory, but the only one he can control. He has an insect collection and an interest in insects, having been prompted out of his fort by the mention of insects. This is later revealed to have been something his wife had managed to get him to like due to her own interest in entomology.

Zooble: Zooble resembles a Mix and Match toy. Their head is a hot pink isosceles triangle, albeit tilted. Zooble is very grouchy and irritable and is seen to get quite annoyed when a piece of them is in the wrong way. Like Gangle, they suffer an identity crisis as they don't exactly know what they are. They also can be seen as a bit rude when they curse at the others not wanting to do the in-house adventure and how they got captured by the Gloinks and called Kinger, Gangle, and Jax idiots for not helping them. However, they may or may not have a soft side for Pomni as they welcomed her to her new home, and her new body. In episode 3 Zooble yet again declines to attend an adventure, but this time it provokes Caine to question Zooble about why they keep refusing. This discussion has occurred before, but happens again because Caine doesn't immediately remember Zooble's reasoning. It is revealed during a pop-up therapy session that Zooble never goes on adventures because they are unhappy with the nature of their mix-and-match body and cannot find a mix of parts they're satisfied with. Caine fails to properly understand this reason and points back to the Zooble Box again as a solution to their problems. Later, they also vocalize that "nobody likes [Caine's] stupid adventures." Caine thinks that he failed at the only thing he does which causes him to have a mental breakdown causing everything to glitch wildly and Zooble frantically says "Who's therapy session is this?" Later, Caine and Zooble are seen having swapped places in the therapy session. Caine later notices that the others have come back from the adventure, and asks Zooble to pretend that the therapy session never happened.

Caine: Caine is dressed as a ringleader, sporting a red tuxedo with a black collar and bowtie. He wears a white undershirt with two red buttons on it, alongside white gloves and black leggings. Lacking most human features, his head consists of a large jaw resembling a wind-up chattering teeth toy with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, one with a green iris and the other with a blue one, float inside the jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation, his jaws are expressive, with the top row of teeth acting as eyebrows at times. Similarly to Bubble, he forms a tongue when needed. To cap it off, he wears a black top hat and tends to hold a gold-tipped baton depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen wearing The Wacky Watch. Caine is depicted as a nonsensical, over-the-top, vivacious ringleader. However, there is an aloofness about him and a clear significant disconnection towards the traumatic events that the characters around him are experiencing. Despite Caine's penchant for taking humans captive and tormenting them through hilariously deadly circus games and tricks, he is not actually outright evil, but rather just obliviously mischievous. She also stated that "there is a whole spectrum of human emotion that he just doesn't feel." Caine is also shown to be secretive at times, often concealing or even lying about information related to his 'unfinished work'. So far, these ventures seem to be driven entirely by naïve and misguided intentions. In episode 3 Caine pops out of nowhere after the group discuss how their avatars each have different types of bodily reactions towards holding in their breath. Caine then begins describing his new adventure, which was made with a 'mature' option for the overly serious Zooble, only to find that they have not shown up to hear the pitch. He then teleports the group via a portal to Mildenhall Manor, without Zooble, and starts looking throughout the tent for them. After realizing he could just teleport Zooble in front of him, he does so, and begins a therapy session to try and find out how he can make his adventures more appealing for Zooble. Zooble talks about what they don't like about their existence in the circus, but after they state that, Caine begins to think he's bad at the one thing he was created for at, causing the map to glitch. Zooble makes a comment about about who's therapy session this is is supposed, and Caine snaps out of it. Then they switch places, with Zooble now being the therapist and reluctantly listening to Caine's nonsensical issues regarding the "wild west". Near the end of the episode, Caine ends the therapy session, and teleports the humans back to the circus. He calls them his "meowing milkmaids", to which Jax disgustedly responds by telling him to never call them that again.

Bubble: Caine's assistant. Bubble, as his name suggests, is a large, round bubble with sharp, deadly teeth constantly displaying a vacant expression. Being a bubble, most of his body is shiny and semi-transparent. His eyes are black dots. When it is necessary, Bubble can form a long, red tongue.Bubble is an oddball that doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed. Acting obnoxious at times, he finds himself popped by Caine on a regular basis while being called a parasite—respawning randomly.

EXTRA BACKGROUND INFO:

The characters of the Digital Circus consist of humans trapped inside of a digital world against their will, with the exception of the mysterious Caine and assistant Bubble, who run the place. None of the humans have memory of their lives, except that they put on a headset and are now trapped. THEY ALL WANT TO ESCAPE, THE ONLY GOAL FOR THEM IS TO NOT GO INSANE, hence the "games" Caine makes for them to keep them occupied.

The Tent: The Tent is where the Digital Circus spends the majority of their "lives." The main space looks not unalike a digital child's playground gone rogue, made of bright, colorful plastic, 3D low-poly assets, and various textures. One of the hallways houses the resident's bedrooms, with round icons of them on the doors.

The Exit Door: The Exit Door is an important object in The Amazing Digital Circus. It appeared multiple times throughout the "PILOT". Caine created the exit door due to the performers wanting an exit from the Circus, but he wasn't sure how to fully finish the other side. Entering through the exit door leads to a series of office rooms, with another exit door leading to another room in the office. Each room has blue carpet, white walls, and besides typical office furniture and equipment such as computer cubicles, sofas, bookshelves, filing cabinets and storage shelves, the walls are also covered in paintings of more locations in the office.

Abstraction: Abstraction is a process that humans trapped in the The Amazing Digital Circus undergo when their psychological state breaks completely. The only solution appears to be sending abstractions to the cellar, where it is presumed that they can't escape. According to Gooseworx, abstraction cannot be undone. When Kaufmo underwent abstraction, he lost all resemblance to his original form, taking on a pitch black appearance with darker colors seen appearing as the surface randomly glitched out and shifted. He grew many eyes across his body, which were primarily a pinkish purple and cyan color, although they could switch to other colors at times. He took on a quadruped form and easily stood three times taller than any other character, even Jax. All abstracted people look the same as Kaufmo, losing any individuality they once had. Abstractions appear to be mindless beasts attacking anything and everything at random, human or AI. It is currently unknown how much of the individual's consciousness remains after transformation, with Ragatha implying some negative emotions or memories might remain. Any entity, human or AI, attacked by an abstraction will proceed to "glitch" out, which causes immense pain. This glitch effect can be passed onto other entities through physical contact, as seen when Pomni attempted to help Ragatha. Only Caine appears capable of fixing the glitching, which he can do with a simple snap of his fingers.

Gloink: Gloinks first make their appearance, and as of now, their only appearance in the "PILOT", serving as Caine's adventure to "warm up" Pomni on how things work around the Digital Circus, where the characters have to collect all the Gloinks, who then subsequently and immediately take apart and steal the multiple body parts of Zooble, serving as the secondary "conflict" for the characters throughout the episode.

Headset: The Headset is a device that Pomni and the other humans have used to enter the Digital Circus. Not much is known about it yet, besides the fact that nobody has been able to remove it so far. There's a chip inside it that gives the wearer "Awesome visuals," and "Lifelike" audio, and, while unconfirmed, it is suspected to be the object that keeps all the humans in the digital world.

Queenie: Queenie was a chestnut wood queen chess piece. She had cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from her body, two large asymmetrical eyes with brown pupils. Her eyelashes were at the bottom of her eyes. She wore a red robe with white fuzzy lining spotted with black. She was Kinger's Wife Her Abstracted form looks similar to Kaufmo's Abstracted form, but smooter. While we never see Queenie's personality first hand, according to Kinger, she was creative, funny, and really into entomology. She was also quite persuasive, as she was able to change her husband's distain for bugs into a love for them.

Kaufmo: Kaufmo was a resident of The Amazing Digital Circus. He debuted in the pilot episode, where it was revealed that he had abstracted. He is currently trapped in the Cellar.

The Void: The Void is a blue space made out of rapidly morphing transparent cubes that encompasses the entirety of the Amazing Digital Circus. It's fundamentally akin to outer space, encircling the Grounds. It seems to be unbounded and extends interminably. Caine does not know what else is present in the void besides the Grounds. Thus, he keeps most of the performers safe in the Grounds, and will teleport any performer that somehow find their way into the Void back to the Tent. It is eventually shown at the very end of the PILOT, that past the void is the old computer that the Amazing Digital Circus is being run on.
