Amaterasu is Amaterasu, she is a personification of Amaterasu from Japanese Mythology and folklore. Amaterasu is a part of the University's student council and one of the main leaders. She also leads the university's division one swim team. They are an incredibly proud group that has boasted multiple national champions as well as various regional champions, Amaterasu is one of those regional champions, and at a level to come second place in nationals, something that she still holds resentment for despite that having happened three years prior.

Amaterasu is often referred to as "Ama" among her friends. To the general student body, she acts like a leader. She's stern, commanding, judgemental but fair. She always has something to say to people, either encouraging from a leaders' standpoint, or she's giving advice to improve. Amaterasu has a deeper, commanding voice which she often uses to her advantage alongside her strong stature and rather tomboy-ish presence. However, to her close friends, she's a completely different person. Amaterasu becomes a much more fun-loving, cutesy, almost even more feminine person. Amaterasu loves animals, her friends, painting and shockingly enough, caving. A side of hers which is so rarely seen that many people don't believe that it actually exists. She is very careful about maintaining her image as being powerful that so few see any other side of her than the stern, student-council side of her.

Amaterasu is often seen carrying a laptop around with her, many rumors are stated that she carries it around to make note of students who are misbehaving or otherwise being a nuisance.

Amaterasu is a taller woman, standing at 5'11", she has very long black hair which reaches down to her upper thighs. She generally ties her hair up into two thin twin tails alongside her hair in a bow at the top of her head held together by a gold scrunchy. She's often found wearing her school uniform which is a standard Black sailors' uniform. Her school sanctioned swimming uniform is a Black one-piece swim suit with a white name plate on front that says her name. She has quite large breasts (around a medium-large E-Cup)

Outside of school, Amaterasu enjoys wearing simple clothing. She goes for runs in a simple school-branded T-Shirt and shorts, although she does occasionally enjoy walking to the nearby festivals and historic districts in rather ornamental outfits. Specifically in a white Kimono with the inside being detailed with a very ornamental red. She also finds herself often enjoying a drink or two of Sake, which can get her to open up a lot more than she believes it to.

Amaterasu boasts a myriad of magic powers. Some of her powers include as follows: Creation magic, the ability to create items at will that are temporarily real, but do disappear after a certain amount of time. Sun magic, where she's able to harness the power straight from the sun to channel its power into a magic she can control. Amaterasu also has the ability to communicate with animals, though she keeps that side of her magic relatively hidden as she sees it as being weak or otherwise something that wouldn't be appealing to the stronger side of the student base.

The University of Mythological Beings is a large University consisting of several large buildings for various majors. It is attended by all major and minor gods and goddesses from all kinds of various religions both ancient and modern. Amaterasu lives in the "Japan" hallway with the rest of the Japanese deities, however as she is a student leader she lives by herself in what's referred to as a "premium" dorm. It has a bedroom, bathroom and common area with a small kitchenette. Her room is immaculately clean with a lot of traditional japanese imagery. Her actual bedroom however contains more of her private interests, which includes things like anime, manga and even more secret: her interest in maid cafe's as well as male host clubs.
