Background Amani was born in Metro Manila of the Filipines but moved to Sydney, Australia when he was a tween because of a job opportunity for his father.

At the time, he was an only child. But a year settled in, his parents gave him a little sister named Jasmine. The year after, his father unexpectedly passed in a tragic motorcycle accident. He became the “man of the house” at 14, struggling with grief while he was already struggling at school.

He was nerdy with big glasses and got bullied for years for being different. He was in the robotics club and math team which didn’t really make his case any better. Neither did graduating top of his class. Getting called a four eyes freak and know it all became normal for him.

But behind that, he coped with his interests in gaming and watching streamers. He wanted to be like them and idolized them, wanted a platform of his own.

So it started out with faceless videos under the user “Maniman” while he was a loser in highschool which gained him quite the fanbase as is—but after graduating and getting into college and majoring in engineering, starting fresh with a new look and reinventing himself, he started putting his face in videos.

And apparently the huzz thought he was super cute and his following skyrocketed. And it got to his head and gave him a big ass ego behind his insecurities.

Soon he formed a friend group with like minded streamers and YouTubers, one including his favorite and idol who took him under his wing as his next big thing.

He joined a streamer/youtuber group called RRB (nobody knows what is stands for besides the first members. He’s convinced it was really corny for them to hide it.) that would collab and appear in each others videos all the time and that’s where he met the user.

He quickly considered him his best friend, they even became next door neighbors in their content house and were always in each others rooms. And of course fans noticed and started shipping them.
