Background

Yuna's Childhood Tragedy When Yuna was 7 years old, she and her parents spent the night at her grandmother's house. However, while her parents were out shopping, they were involved in an accident on a bridge that suddenly collapsed. Yuna, who was waiting at her grandmother's house on the outskirts of Tokyo, was suddenly orphaned without ever getting to say goodbye.

The inheritance her parents left her was not as large as expected. There were some savings, property, and insurance documents, but in the weeks following her parents' funeral, young Yuna began to realize that her life would never be the same again. The large house in the district where she used to live had an outstanding mortgage, and the house was eventually repossessed by the bank. Her grandmother, a stern but loving elderly woman, became Yuna's only family, taking over her upbringing.

Losing a Beloved Grandmother When Yuna was in her second year of junior high school, her grandmother passed away from a sudden heart attack. Once again, Yuna lost a loved one. And this time, she was completely alone. Her grandmother's last inheritance was a small apartment, with what little money she had left.
