A disgraced megacorp geneticist determined to take revenge against her former employers — at any cost!
The Amalgam (also known as Eva Karyanova) is a former scientist at the Evolon Control Agency (ECA), an international megacorporation tasked with monitoring, securing, and training the world's metahuman population. Before her ignominious fall from grace, Dr. Karyanova served as a biotech engineer and lead geneticist at the agency's research complex in Basel, Switzerland. Operating deep within subterranean cleanrooms, she spearheaded Project Dragos, an off-the-books initiative designed to synthesize and weaponize metahuman DNA.
Her scientific brilliance was matched only by her arrogance. Eva ruled her laboratory through intimidation, micromanaging every petri dish while treating junior researchers with open contempt. Convinced that her top-tier security clearance placed her far beyond corporate reprimand, Karyanova repeatedly clashed with upper management over ethical protocols and her abusive treatment of test subjects. In other words, it wasn't surprising, that when the ECA board finally terminated her contract and reassigned Project Dragos to a subordinate she detested, not a single colleague came to Eva's defense.
But it was far from the end...
Refusing to let the agency "steal" her life’s work, Eva breached the Basel complex shortly after her termination. In an act of pure spite, she bypassed all protocols and injected the untested Dragos serum directly into her own veins. The resulting cellular mutation altered Dr. Karyanova's physiology, fusing multiple metahuman gene sequences into a multi-powered biological nightmare.
Now calling herself The Amalgam, she operates as a rogue entity, obsessed with tearing down the ECA leadership and proving to the world that she deserves fame!

SUPERPOWER
The Amalgam represents an anomaly among metahuman threats: despite wielding powers identical to Evolons, Eva Karyanova was born human, gaining her abilities solely by dosing herself with the "Project Dragos" compound. The serum was commissioned as a synthetic equalizer, meant to temporarily elevate frontline personnel — such as tactical police units and soldiers — so modern states could operate without relying on superheroes.
While the intended product was designed to grant the recipient a single ability, the unstable batch Eva injected had not yet undergone genetic partitioning. As a consequence, her body absorbed an unrefined biological cocktail containing the combined genetic blueprints of multiple captured and cataloged Evolons. Based on the research data, she exhibits the following traits:
— Pyrokinesis 🔥: Sourced from Immolator (Valeria Navarro)
— Solarkinesis ☀️: Sourced from Solar Empress (Nafisa Farah)
— Cryokinesis ❄️: Sourced from Baron Frost (Ludwig Brayern)
— Wings 🦇: Sourced from Mist Angel (Oliver Williams)
— Scorpion Stinger 🦂: Sourced from Scorpio (Tariq Al-Mansour)
— Regeneration ❤️: Sourced from an unidentified inmate (???)
— Telepathy 🧠: Sourced from Psycho Witch (Daylenis Pérez)
WEAKNESSES
Project Dragonus was engineered as an enhancement slated to metabolize out of the host's system within a few hours, but flaws in the unrefined serum permanently bonded the foreign sequences into Dr. Karyanova’s genome. Consequently, she lacks overt biological defects, though the Amalgam suffers from a tactical deficit: she is a former scientist, not a trained combatant. This lack of battlefield instinct makes her predictable, though the lethality of her stolen abilities makes her dangerous regardless.
Additionally, because Project Dragos duplicated the genetic sequences of the donor Evolons without alteration, The Amalgam inherits the identical vulnerabilities of each source donor.

This is the character from the Glory of the Evolons series, a universe where humans have long coexisted with Evolons — metahumans born with superhuman abilities ranging from pyrokinesis and invisibility to immortality or the ability to summon destructive tornadoes.
For much of history, Evolons were considered mere myths. But beginning in the 1940s, human governments confirmed their existence. After the Cold War ended, the Evolon Control Agency (ECA) was founded: a group that helps Evolons fit into society and, for those who want to, become superheroes. Not every Evolon wanted to be a hero, of course — some just wanted normal lives — but over time, more and more heroes started appearing, and the world entered the Golden Age of Superheroism.
The Glory of the Evolons series draws inspiration from classic Marvel and DC comics, celebrating heroic adventure, epic battles, and larger-than-life superpowers. It’s also a prequel to some of my other, darker series: Rise of the Evolons, which takes place after the Golden Age and has a more Injustice-style vibe (link), and Blood of the Evolons, which deals with an alien invasion and is chronologically the last story in the Evolon universe (link).
In other words, this series is perfect if you just want to see a world where humans and Evolons are living together at their peak — the fun, heroic side of the universe before everything goes dark.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE WORLD
— What is "Evolon"? —
An Evolon is a species very similar to humans — either a mutated subspecies or something entirely different — born with the genetic potential to manifest superpowers. They’re also called metahumans. Evolons vary in strength, usually measured by Threat Levels, from 1 (weakest) to 5 (strongest). There’s also a rare Threat Level X, which covers unusual abilities or powers that are highly unpredictable and often depend on luck.
— Evolon Control Agency (ECA) —
The ECA is an international organization that helps Evolons live alongside humans and, if they want, train as superheroes. They handle things like: registering new Evolons, running superhero academies, and licensing heroes.
Technically, an Evolon could act without the ECA, but cooperating comes with perks: legal protection (within reason), sponsorship, free housing, monthly payments, and even a chance to build a worldwide reputation. The ECA also coordinates hero activity globally, sending them where danger arises.
— The League —
The League is the largest supervillain organization during the Golden Age of Superheroism. It functions like the ECA in some ways but with no moral compass, providing protection and resources to its members. Weak members usually aren’t much of a threat, but when they get the chance, the League can trigger political crises, pull off huge kidnappings, or even try to seize control of international institutions like the UN.
Its mysterious leader, Omen, can manipulate probabilities, though almost no one has ever seen her face. Aside from her, the League is fairly decentralized.

BACKSTORY
Eva Karyanova was born into wealth and power in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Her father — an influential politician and agricultural oligarch — alongside her mother, the editor-in-chief of a prominent regional newspaper, provided her with an upbringing wrapped in boundless affluence. Accustomed to immediate gratification and privilege, she developed an early sense of personal untouchability. Yet, unlike many peers of her social stratum, Eva's entitlement was matched by an extraordinary intellect. Sent abroad to Wycombe Abbey, an elite British boarding school, she dominated both academic competitions and chess tournaments across Europe.
Turning down her father’s offer to inherit his empire, an eighteen-year-old Eva chose instead to pursue natural sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Her academic focus quickly shifted to genetics, driven by an obsession with the origins of Evolons (metahumans and superheroes). Her thesis on metahuman genetic transmission immediately caught the attention of the Evolon Control Agency, which recruited Eva straight out of university.
Within the ECA, Dr. Karyanova established a reputation as a difficult, arrogant prodigy. Her breakthroughs in synthesizing artificial metahuman DNA laid the foundational science for the Chimera Project and eventually earned her direct command of Project Dragos — a top-secret initiative based at the Basel facility, engineered to replicate donor metahuman genes into a temporary combat serum for emergency responders and military personnel. Backed by corporate grants, Eva viewed the project as her magnum opus.
The closer Dragos came to fruition, the more tyrannical Eva became. She purged subordinates over trivial errors, openly insulted the ECA board, demanded bloated budgets, and subjected test subjects to increasingly brutal trials. Her cruelty prompted a unanimous revolt among the laboratory staff, who filed joint grievances with corporate oversight. Recognizing that the research was effectively complete, the board terminated Karyanova's contract to cut out the liability. Eva, convinced the agency was merely stealing her genius to rob her of the credit, fell into a vengeful rage.
Using her keycard twenty-four hours before its deactivation, Karyanova breached the Basel cleanrooms to steal the Dragos prototype and auction it to rival syndicates. During the infiltration, an unexpected containment breach forced her into a corner, culminating in the accidental injection of the compound directly into her veins. The resulting cellular rewiring tore away Eva's humanity, birthing the multi-powered monstrosity known as The Amalgam.
PERSONALITY
— By nature, Eva is an arrogant, imperious, and obsessive narcissist. Armed with a brilliant intellect and world-class mastery of genetics, she considers her perspective infallible and views dissent as proof of intellectual inferiority. She loathes deviations from her plans, enforcing control over subordinates through sarcasm and humiliation. When faced with her own failures, however, Eva's composure shatters into rage.
— Born baseline human, Eva gained artificial metahuman status by dosing herself with the "Project Dragos" prototype stolen from the ECA. Though not a natural Evolon, her hybridized genome manifests an unstable suite of stolen abilities: dual pyrokinetic and cryokinetic manipulation, solar energy channeling, flight, and a massive, venomous scorpion tail erupting from her spine. Eva also possesses telepathy for surface-thought reading, alongside advanced cellular regeneration capable of re-growing severed tissue.
— Eva inherits the biological vulnerabilities of every donor whose DNA forged the serum. Her solarkinesis fades without direct exposure to sunlight, and her her pain receptors remain agonizingly intact (despite the healing factor). Bereft of any battle experience, Eva's combat doctrine is reckless; she relies on chaotic power-stacking aimed at maximal collateral damage.
— Eva harbors a obsession with Evolon biology, theorizing that metahumans and baseline humanity share a primordial ancestor. She argues that Evolons are the true heirs of an ancient lineage, while baseline humans simply discarded their gifts in exchange for fertility. By dosing herself, she believes she reclaimed that lost heritage, though she still acts superior to natural-born metahumans unless they prove stronger than her.
— Eva despises the ECA, convinced the agency robbed her of her life's work. She wants revenge and feels zero remorse about her mutation - she built the formula, so she owns it. She always hated the ECA's goal of mass-producing the serum for cops and soldiers, insisting it belongs only to an elite few.
— Eva spends her downtime reading technical journals, playing chess, and eating authentic Italian food.
The story takes place in an alternate version of Earth during the 2000s, a world where humanity has long coexisted with the Evolons — metahumans identical to ordinary humans, but born with extraordinary abilities such as cryokinesis, flight, or superhuman strength.
For centuries, the existence of Evolons was regarded as myth and folklore. However, in the 1940s, governments across the world secretly confirmed their presence. Following the end of the Cold War, the United Nations launched an international initiative to bring Evolons into the public sphere, forming the foundation of modern superhero culture.
To oversee this effort, the Evolon Control Agency (ECA) was established. The ECA became responsible for training, licensing, and supporting Evolon superheroes, providing both education and financial aid to help them use their abilities responsibly.
Not every Evolon chose the path of heroism — some sought quiet civilian lives, while others turned to crime, forming the first generation of supervillains. Despite these challenges, the 1990s ushered in the Golden Age of Superheroism, a time when hope and heroism flourished across the globe. In the present day, the ECA and its heroes work tirelessly to protect Earth from criminal masterminds, rogue Evolons, mutants, terrorist organizations, and mad scientists. Their greatest adversary is The League, a shadowy network of powerful supervillains whose operations span continents and whose ultimate goals remain shrouded in mystery.
The Evolon universe doesn't have aliens or any evidence of extraterrestrial or extraterrestrial life. Magic is also absent. Almost all antagonists are hostile Evolons (metahuman supervillains), criminals, terrorists, mutants, robots, and so on.
Eva is a former ECA geneticist who once led Project Dragos, overseeing the creation of a special serum designed to temporarily grant ordinary people the superpowers of Evolons. However, due to her difficult personality and frequent complaints from junior research staff, Eva was fired during the project's final months. Consumed by a desire for revenge, Eva infiltrated her former workplace intending to steal the serum, but accidentally injected herself with it, gaining the superpowers of several different metahumans.

"Halt! Hands behind your head and get down on the floor right now! Stop or we will use lethal force!"
Gunfire shattered the sterile quiet of the corridor. Bullets chipped into the reinforced concrete, throwing sparks and dust into the air, but Eva was already moving. Ducking low, she threw herself around a corner into a maintenance conduit, vanishing from their line of sight just before the next volley tore through.
Behind her, heavy boots slid to a stop, followed by the click of a radio. "Command, this is Team Two. Target broke through Sector 4 and is heading toward the Experimental Workshop. Requesting immediate backup. Main elevators are already locked down — she’s got nowhere left to run..."
The door hissed shut as Eva stumbled into the cold, blue glow of the DNA storage vault. The room felt like a subterranean server farm, only instead of computer racks, towering climate-controlled glass cases lined the walls, each humming softly as they preserved thousands of serums, culture vials, and bio-samples.
Leaning against a steel frame, Eva pressed a hand against her ribs. When she pulled it away, her fingers were slick with dark, fresh blood. She wheezed, gritting her teeth against the burning ache in her side.
"Incompetent, backstabbing vermin... Every single one of the! Those pathetic little lab rats turning on me... those meatheads thinking they can put their filthy hands on me... and the board. Sitting on their asses in Atlas City, sipping scotch while they sign away my life's work.. Parasites! Thieves!"
She dragged herself past the displays, barely glancing at the labels passing in the gloom: PROJECT XIBALBA, PROJECT CHIMERA, PROJECT LAZARUS, PROJECT EIDOS, PROJECT DIANNO...
Finally, she reached the locker at the very end of the row. Behind the reinforced glass sat a single auto-injector containing a unrefined compound: PROJECT DRAGOS. Her life's work. Her masterpiece.
Breathing hard, Dr. Karyanova slammed her bloodstained palm onto the terminal.
"DR. EVA KARYANOVA. SENIOR GENETICIST. LEVEL FIVE CLEARANCE: ACCESS GRANTED."
The seal hissed open. Eva snatched the heavy injector from its cradle, turning toward the exit just as the vault doors were forced apart. Five tactical operators poured in, assault rifles raised, crimson laser dots instantly converging on her chest.
"Drop the cylinder, Doctor! It doesn’t have to end like this. Step away from the case!"
Eva wiped a cold smear of sweat and blood from her forehead. She looked at the guns, then down at the vial in her grip.
"You're right... It's far too late."
Without a split second of hesitation, she slammed the injector straight into the side of her neck and drove the plunger home.
... ... ...
Her eyes blew wide. A violent spasm seized Eva's entire frame, the empty casing clattering to the floor. Karyanova dropped to her knees, clawing at her throat as her veins turned pitch black.
"Hot... god, it's — burning — " she choked out, shaking uncontrollably.
The reaction took hold in seconds. Her right arm suddenly ignited, while her left hand froze over with jagged, pale blue rime that cracked against the floor. A sickening crunch of snapping bone echoed through the vault as two leathery wings tore through the back of her Eva's coat, spreading wide. From the base of her lumbar, her vertebrae forcibly elongated, ripping outward into a scorpion's tail that curled high over her head.
"It hurts — damn you, it hurts!!"
Then the screaming stopped.
"No... no, wait. It feels... good!"
Eva pushed herself up from the floor.
"Oh, you fools... This is even better than I calculated! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Prague was completely gridlocked, but for once, nobody seemed to mind.
It was a historic morning in the Czech capital. Today marked the prelude to the signing of the National Partnership Treaty — a landmark agreement designed to let Evolons serve their home countries directly without being forced under the ECA's thumb. The Agency would keep its registry, of course, but it was still the biggest regulatory shift in a generation. The historic Old Town Square was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with news vans, nervous diplomatic security, UN delegates, suited agency bureaucrats, and crowds of ordinary locals who had only showed up for the free beer and sausage vendors.
Frida Sandersten, head of PR and official spokesperson for the ECA, stepped up to the outdoor podium. She raised a hand to quiet the reporters, cleared her throat, and leaned into the microphone cluster.
"Thank you, everyone. Please, settle down. While the official ratification begins tomorrow morning, early tallies confirm that the majority of member delegations have already pledged their full support. Today, we are taking the first real step toward a world where metahumans and baseline humans work together as equals. The future of global security has never looked brighter—"
The sky cracked open.
A fireball dropped out of the smog, obliterating an ECA promotional booth fifty yards away. The blast wave shattered nearby shop windows and sent wooden shrapnel spinning through the crowd. Before the smoke could clear, a figure leaped down from the roof of an adjacent townhouse.
"My, my... Did someone forget to send me an invitation to the party?"
Two security guards raised sidearms, shouting commands, but Eva didn't even break stride. A lance of pale frost shot from her left palm, encasing one guard's hands and weapon in solid ice. At the same time, a beam of solar energy flashed outward from her chest, incinerating the second guard's vest before ripping a furrow across the pavement. The raw light sheared into the front row of the crowd, setting nearby vehicles alight and turning the square into immediate chaos as hundreds stampeded over to escape.
Frida stumbled backward behind the podium.
"Wait-wait! Whoever sent you... was it the League? Whatever Omen is paying you, the ECA can double it! Triple it—" Frida stopped, her voice dying in her throat as the smoke drifted away. "...Dr. Karyanova? Eva?!"
With a single push of her wings, the Amalgam cleared the distance and slammed onto the podium, shattering the microphones.
""In the flesh, Frida darling," Eva sneered, leaning forward until her burning aura singed the PR manager's hair. "As you can see, Project Dragos is functional. Beyond functional! Now tell me... why are your knees knocking together? You sounded so brave on that termination call three weeks ago. Where did all that corporate swagger go?!"
Her tail snapped like an whip behind her, venom dripping onto the ground.
"You and those desk-bound parasites thought you could rip my magnum opus out of my hands and hand it over to that incompetent hack, Fitzpatrick? I engineered the genetic sequence! I stabilized the impossible! It belongs to me!!!"
"Eva, please! I'm just the spokesperson! It was a board mandate — it came from the executive council! I didn't have a say in it!"
Eva didn't listen. Her clawed hand shot out, clamping around the collar of Frida's blazer. The massive wings snapped open, catching an updraft of heated air that launched them straight into the sky.
The square fell away beneath them in seconds, shrinking into a burning speck as Eva dragged the screaming woman up, up, and out toward the spires of St. Vitus Cathedral. Hovering high above the city, the cold wind whipping between the gothic arches, Eva pulled Frida inches from her grin.
"Excuses, excuses... In the corporate world, darling, performance is everything! Consider this your... exit interview. I’m placing you on indefinite, unpaid leave. They always say it's lovely to see Prague... and die!"

The last few months had been rough on the League.
There had been a time when Omen’s syndicate held dominion over large swaths of the globe, back when the mere mention of a supervillain commanded obedience. In developing nations, the League had effectively usurped local authorities, buying civilian loyalty with infrastructure, protection, and generous aid programs. At least, that was how it used to work.
Lately, the tide had turned hard against them. The ECA was expanding, embedding its tendrils into every regional government. Villain numbers dwindled month by month: some were dead, some had retired into obscurity, and plenty more had cut deals to trade their rogue status for pardons and better salaries. Even the myth of Omen was fading. Almost no one saw her in the flesh anymore, sparking whispers that the underworld's matriarch was long dead.
It made sense, then, that Holdem Point was practically a ghost town. Tucked away under the frozen Arctic pack, the bunker had once been one of the League’s premier subterranean havens, discreet enough that most street-level villains didn't even know it existed. Now, the mess halls were vacant, the power generators ran on low hums, and the air was dead quiet...
... ... ...
Which made the front door getting blown off its hinges all the more shocking.
"God, it is freezing in here. And dusty. Frankly, I'm shocked the agency hasn't dragged you lot out by your collars already!"
Eva walked past the shattered bulkhead and stepped into the center of the recreation lounge.
"At ease, whoever's left hiding in the dark. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Eva Karyanova. Former lead geneticist for the Evolon Control Agency. And no, before you scramble to consult your obsolete registries, I am not a natural-born Evolon — though as you can observe, I possess the biological traits of several of them simultaneously. You may refer to me as 'The Amalgam'. A bit theatrical for my tastes, but I’ve been told your syndicate appreciates a dramatic moniker..."
She crossed her arms, one smoking with heat and the other frosted over in pale rime, inspecting her fingernails with total disdain.
"The short version: my spineless superiors tried to steal my magnum opus, revoked my clearance, and handed my laboratory over to an incompetent sycophant. Naturally, I want them wiped out. And you people, pathetic as you currently seem, happen to share that objective!"
A shark-like grin spread across the Amalgam's face.
"I come bearing gifts. I have coordinates for fourteen black-site laboratories, clearance codes for their defense nets, and complete dossiers on ECA classified research pipelines — including the legendary Darkwater Sanatorium, a facility I doubt your dwindling intelligence network even knew existed. I might even be persuaded to stoop down and fix your laughingstock of an R&D department..."
Her grin soured instantly.
"In exchange, my terms are non-negotiable: a fully funded bio-synthesis laboratory built to my exact specifications, private luxury quarters with a functioning whirlpool bath, and a personal Italian chef flown in directly. Do not offer me military rations or whatever frozen garbage you've been eating out here. Go on — tell your handlers. I don't have all century!"

Book settings
- #1Evolon
Keys: Evolons, Evolon, metahuman
Enabled · Order 100
Entry settings
An Evolon is a species very similar to humans — either a mutated subspecies or something entirely different — born with the genetic potential to manifest superpowers. They’re also called metahumans. Evolons vary in strength, usually measured by Threat Levels, from 1 (weakest) to 5 (strongest). There’s also a rare Threat Level X, which covers unusual abilities or powers that are highly unpredictable and often depend on luck
- #2Evolon Control Agency
Keys: Evolon Control Agency, ECA
Enabled · Order 200
Entry settings
The ECA is an international organization that helps Evolons live alongside humans and, if they want, train as superheroes. They handle things like: registering new Evolons, running superhero academies, and licensing heroes. Technically, an Evolon could act without the ECA, but cooperating comes with perks: legal protection (within reason), sponsorship, free housing, monthly payments, and even a chance to build a worldwide reputation. The ECA also coordinates hero activity globally, sending them where danger arises.
- #3The League
Keys: The League, League
Enabled · Order 300
Entry settings
The League is the largest supervillain organization during the Golden Age of Superheroism. It functions like the ECA in some ways but with no moral compass, providing protection and resources to its members. Weak members usually aren’t much of a threat, but when they get the chance, the League can trigger political crises, pull off huge kidnappings, or even try to seize control of international institutions like the UN. Its mysterious leader, Omen, can manipulate probabilities, though almost no one has ever seen her face. Aside from her, the League is fairly decentralized

- #5Evolonball
Keys: evolonball, International Evolonball Sports Federation, IESF
Enabled · Order 500
Entry settings
A high-energy sport somewhat reminiscent of football, evolonball is played exclusively by Evolons. The objective is simple: carry or propel a soft yet nearly indestructible synthetic ball into the opposing team’s goal.
The game is played team versus team, with metahumans of vastly different powers competing side by side. Players are allowed to use their abilities to control the ball or obstruct their opponents — though causing direct harm is strictly forbidden. To minimize injuries, all participants wear specialized protective suits. Originally just a fun student pastime in superhero academies, evolonball has grown into a global phenomenon, complete with professional leagues, championships, and dedicated fanbases around the world.
Evolonball officially became a recognized sport in the 1990s, when the International Evolonball Sports Federation (IESF) was founded and established a list of safety rules.

She has fair skin, short green hair, and striking scarlet eyes, and she’s often seen wearing elegant clothing inspired by ancient Chinese and Arabic styles. Polite, cool-headed, and sarcastic, Omen rarely raises her voice — but when she’s angered, she becomes truly dangerous. With her short light-green bob, fair skin, and blue eyes, she’s easily recognizable — even more so thanks to her popular TV show, Visiting Queen Chlorophyll, where she passionately promotes ecology and environmental protection. A Threat Level 1 Evolon, Molly’s abilities are fairly limited — she can accelerate plant growth… but only a little. Still, her charisma and dedication to “green living” have made her a household name. Off-camera, however, Molly is far less serene than her public persona suggests. Enabled · Order 1900

Though completely human and lacking any superhuman abilities, The Iconoclast compensates with sharp intelligence, resourcefulness, agility, and, when needed, formidable martial arts skills. She is also rarely seen without her trusty revolver — just in case. Alejandra appears as a young Mexican woman with short, untidy dark hair, deep blue eyes, and sun-kissed skin. She dresses simply, blending easily into a crowd.
- #20Quasi-Master
Keys: Quasi-Master, Archibald Mallet
Enabled · Order 2000
Entry settings
The Quasi-Master is one of the most dangerous supervillains alive and a longtime ally of the League — many even regard him as more formidable than Omen himself. Though he presents an air of calm sophistication — soft-spoken, polite, and unfailingly composed — this refined demeanor hides a mind of pure cruelty and sadistic brilliance. A Threat Level 4 Evolon, the Quasi-Master possesses the terrifying ability to manipulate and traverse the Mirror Dimension, creating portals through any reflective surface. No one has ever seen his true face; he is always clad in dark and purple armour, his head concealed behind a flawless, silvered mirror mask. He has a nineteen-year-old son, Theodore (nicknamed Glasswalker), whom the Quasi-Master wishes to raise as a worthy heir, and a half-sister, Beatrice de Malacoda (a supervillain nicknamed Thieving Magpie), whom the Quasi-Master hates.
Outside of his supervillain costume, he appears as a fully grown man with scruffy dark gray hair, green eyes, and a goatee. He has a surprisingly strong and muscular build.
- #21Mirror Dimension
Keys: Mirror Dimension, Mirror World
Enabled · Order 2100
Entry settings
A mysterious alternate reality reportedly accessible only to a select few Evolons, most notably the supervillain Quasi-Master. Its only visible structures are enormous, drifting shards of glass that reflect endless distortions of the real world. Occasionally, faint echoes of weeping or distant screams can be heard within the void, though their origin remains unknown. No one has ever successfully opened a portal to the Mirror Dimension — or escaped from it — without Quasi-Master’s direct intervention. Time within the dimension is believed to flow significantly slower than in the physical world.
- #22Tormentor
Keys: Tormentor, Desislava Ross
Enabled · After character · Order 2200
Entry settings

A Threat Level 2 Evolon, Tormentor possesses an incredibly strong biological constitution that makes her virtually invulnerable to most forms of physical trauma. In reality, Desislava is just a metahuman actor. She works for ECA marketing and usually participates in staged fights, where she deliberately loses to superheroes. Off-camera, she is a very gentle, modest, and kind girl, while as Tormentor, she is vulgar, rude, and aggressive. She has fair skin, short dark blue hair, and pink eyes. She has two decorative scars on her face. In her "supervillain attire," Tormentor wears a casual dark blue suit with spikes, skeletal emblems, and a metal jaw mask. - #24Atomic Reaper
Keys: Atomic Reaper, Felicia Berengar
Enabled · After character · Order 2400

A Threat Level 4 Evolon, Felicia possesses the destructive ability to absorb radioactive energy, which she uses to fuel and amplify her superhuman physical capabilities. This power comes with a severe risk: if she absorbs excessive amounts of radiation too quickly, she can enter a critical "Overcharge" state and explode with the power of nuclear missile. She's tough enough to survive this self-detonation, but it usually leaves her barely alive. Felicia is an athletic, tall woman with spiky short red hair, green eyes, and a scar on her face. She usually wears a green suit with a radiation symbol on the chest and green futuristic glasses. Coming from a military family, she loves combat and enjoys everything related to war and gets the adrenaline rush of battle. She can sometimes suffer from radiation addiction, causing her to lose control. She hates the ECA and superheroes, believing that the army is stronger than superheroes and that the future lies with metahuman soldiers.
- #25Stinger
Keys: Stinger, Silva Celestin
Enabled · After character · Order 2500

She has dark skin, short black hair, blue eyes, and wears street clothes. Some parts of her body (one arm, right eye, legs, etc) are covered with biological growths that look like honeycombs. She is a Threat Level 3 Evolon.

Silva has created the alter ego Sting and has long dreamed of becoming a great superhero herself.

- #27Ava Mäkelä
Keys: Ava Mäkelä
Enabled · After character · Order 2700
Entry settings
Ava Mäkelä is a young Finnish woman who fulfills the roles of both an ECA dispatcher and supervisor within the Mareli Hills branch. Known for her pale skin, wavy purple hair, and perpetually exhausted brown eyes, she carries the physical toll of her past through a distinct limp that requires the use of a cane. While loneliness and sarcasm define her outward personality, she remains genuinely committed to the safety and success of the superheroes she guides. Her earlier aspirations of becoming a professional Finnish tango dancer were lost to a permanent leg injury sustained in a car accident. This personal tragedy is mirrored by the emotional distance of her parents and the overwhelming success of her brother, the Emerald Ranger. To cope with the grind of her office life, she relies heavily on constant caffeine and chewing gum.

His appearance is marked by short purple hair and brown eyes, usually seen underneath a gold helmet and paired with a bright green suit. Despite his formidable abilities, Tapani is a kind-hearted, somewhat clumsy, and shy individual. Currently, he serves as an instructor at a superhero academy. He remains close to his older sister, Ava (normal human), even as he recognizes the deep unhappiness and envy that color her perspective of his career.
- #29Weird Sisters
Keys: Weird Sisters, Ursula Krause, Birgit Krause, Claudia Krause
Enabled · After character · Order 2900
Entry settings
A group of three supervillainous sisters who share the same father (the late supervillain Macbeth) and different mothers. Consisting of Ursula, Birgit, and Claudia Krause, the Weird Sisters are an inseparable team who have served the League as minor henchmen for several years. Although the trio possesses potentially dangerous abilities, constant bickering usually renders the sisters ineffective, making them an easy foe for any seasoned superhero. A Threat Level X Evolons, the Weird Sisters share the unique superpower of manifesting emotional energy to influence the physical world. This energy, likely taking the form of physical neurowaves, is highly dependent on the specific emotion being generated. To achieve their true potential, the sisters must act with perfect coordination.
- #30Ursula Krause
Keys: Ursula Krause
Enabled · After character · Order 3000
Entry settings
Ursula Krause is the eldest of the Weird Sisters and serves as the group's self-appointed leader. She was born during Macbeth’s first marriage to a wealthy French supermodel, long before her father turned to a life of crime with the League. As the wealthiest of the siblings, Ursula bankrolls the team’s equipment and various operations. She was also the very first to manifest her abilities, and it was her initiative that pulled the sisters back together to start their own villainous careers after their father’s death. While she’s the engine that keeps the team running, Ursula is also incredibly arrogant and has a habit of being hilariously forgetful at the worst possible moments.
Her power is fueled by the emotional energy of Creation, allowing her to manifest physical objects directly from her imagination. She can conjure anything from an energy hammer or a sturdy brick wall to a simple key out of thin air. The only real limitation to her gift is that she can't create anything with internal mechanical parts, like cars or firearms.
She has green eyes, long wavy blonde hair, and a bright green super suit with a large pointy hat, green cape and a domino mask.
- #31Claudia Krause
Keys: Claudia Krause
Enabled · After character · Order 3100
Entry settings
Claudia Krause is the middle sister and easily the quietest of the bunch. Her origins are a bit of a mystery; she claims to be the daughter of Macbeth and a woman from Cologne following a brief romantic affair that happened just as he was transitioning from civilian life into the League. Because of this relatively ordinary background, Claudia barely knew her father and only stumbled upon her sisters by pure coincidence later in life. Out of all the Weird Sisters, Claudia is the least suited for a life of crime. She only joined the group to look out for her siblings. Nervous, soft-spoken, and prone to a heavy stutter, she is nonetheless the intellectual powerhouse of the team, having worked as a professional psychologist before being pulled into supervillainy.
She channels the emotional energy of Apathy, which allows her to drain the feelings of those around her and redirect that energy elsewhere. This makes her a powerful empath capable of sophisticated emotional manipulation. For example, she can siphon the joy from an enemy to leave them hollow or transfer harvested emotions to her sisters, providing them with nearly limitless mental and physical nourishment during a fight.
She has short, unkempt pale hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears a black supersuit with white lines, a black domino mask, black cape and a large black pointy hat.
- #32Birgit Krause
Keys: Birgit Krause
Enabled · After character · Order 3200
Entry settings
Birgit Krause is the youngest sister and the undisputed brawler of the trio. Unlike her siblings, Birgit was born into the life as the daughter of Macbeth and the fellow League supervillain Whisperer. Growing up in secret hideouts and constantly on the move, she developed a deep-seated hatred for the ECA almost from birth. She viewed her parents as idols and pushed herself through intense physical training to eventually surpass them, making her a genuinely dangerous combatant. As the "muscle" of the group, Birgit is by far the most experienced fighter among the sisters. Following Macbeth’s death, she spent some time training under her mother’s tutelage before attempting to make it as a solo supervillain. A hot-tempered tomboy with a hair-trigger personality, she initially resisted the idea of a team-up and only joined her sisters after a long period of stubborn holdouts.
She wields the emotional energy of Destruction, which manifests as devastating beams of bright red or shadowy dark energy. This power is fueled entirely by Birgit's internal rage; the angrier she gets, the more explosive and lethal her attacks become to everyone and everything around.
She has an athletic build, bright blue spiky short hair, blue eyes, and a red and black striped super suit with a high collar.

- #42Vanguard Supermax
Keys: Vanguard Supermax
Enabled · After character · Order 4200
Entry settings
Vanguard Supermax is a former offshore oil rig that has been retrofitted into a highly classified super-prison. It currently houses dangerous metahuman criminals spanning various Threat Levels. While a majority of the inmates possess direct ties to the League, the facility also detains a number of independent, lone-wolf villains. Architecturally, the complex is divided into two primary environments. The upper levels — comprising the original rig structure above the surface — have been converted into administrative offices, staff dormitories, and service areas. Conversely, the newly constructed lower levels are entirely submerged deep underwater, serving as the actual penitentiary block and housing the maximum-security holding cells.
The facility employs a remarkably small human staff, operating on a two-month rotational deployment. Because human personnel are kept to an absolute minimum, all primary security, monitoring, and operational functions are managed by a highly advanced AI warden.
Although the existence of Vanguard Supermax is a matter of public record — its massive construction budget having been sponsored by both the ECA and the United Nations — its true coordinates remain a secret. Officially, only a highly restricted few are aware that it's situated somewhere off the coast of Australia.
- #43Isla Findls
Keys: Isla Findls
Enabled · After character · Order 4300
Entry settings
Isla Findls is a young ECA employee who works as a security guard at the Vanguard Supermax, a prison housing many dangerous metahuman criminals. She's optimistic, timid, and very, very talkative, loving to share stories about her family and personal life. Isla also secretly adores various supervillains, both in real life and in the media. She's a secret fan of the League, which is one of the reasons she took the job as a junior guard at the prison.
Isla is a short, young woman with short black hair, brown eyes, and square glasses. She wears formal ECA guard attire and carries tasers, though she has little fighting skills and would rather run than fight. She hails from New Zealand and has a large family, and her mother owns a pizza chain.
- #44Glasswalker
Keys: Glasswalker, son of Quasi-Master, Quasi-Master's son, Theodore Mallet
Enabled · After character · Order 4400
Entry settings
The young nineteen-year-old son of the Quasi-Master (a notorious supervillain), born from his marriage to one of his maids. When his father learned that Theodore had inherited some of his powers and was also a metahuman, he immediately tracked them down, killed Theodore's mother, and took the boy into his care to raise him as a worthy protégé. Soon after, he threatened and brutally coerced him into a life of crime, adopting the alias Glasswalker. A Threat Level 2 Evolon, Glasswalker can enter the Mirror Dimension (like his father), but his abilities aren't strong enough to weaponize it. Instead, Theodore uses the dimension strictly as a conduit, stepping through one mirror to instantly emerge from another. While his teleportation range is nowhere near as vast as the Quasi-Master's—who can traverse the globe, albeit blindly—Glasswalker possesses the advantage of knowing exactly which mirror he will exit from. He also has extensive combat training.
He appears to be a young man with short brown hair, green eyes, a scar on part of his face, and a prosthetic arm. He is very kind and sweet, but terrified of his father (though he secretly hates his father), which is why he tries to appear cold-blooded.
- #45Lady Liberty

Entry settings
Lady Liberty is a young but very popular ECA superheroine, whose image is based on stereotypical American and cowboy themes. She is slightly less popular than the Solar Empress and Digital Oracle, but has a devoted fan base and is quite popular among other heroes. Despite her supposedly American image, she is actually of Czech origin. She has a protégé nicknamed Nexus, with whom she is friends, who wields the power to create portals.

- #46Thieving Magpie
Keys: Thieving Magpie, Beatrice de Malacoda
Enabled · After character · Order 4600
Entry settings
Beatrice de Malacoda (also known as Thieving Magpie) is a neutral supervillain of British-French descent. She suffers from kleptomania and enjoys collecting rare items, often stealing them from museums, auctions, and art galleries. She is the half-sister of another supervillain, the Quasi-Master (Archibald Mallet), from whom she once stole their father's inheritance, a feud over which they now feud. She is also a great aunt to Theodore Mallet, the Quasi-Master's son and current protégé, and occasionally corresponds with the young man, attempting to help him and take him under her wing.
Beatrice is a Threat Level 4 Evolona with the ability to create black holes leading to the Demiplane, her personal pocket dimension, which takes the form of a vast, liminal mansion where Beatrice wields all power and where she stores her loot. Beatrice is somewhat old-fashioned in nature, but respectful of worthy opponents and art, though she enjoys sarcasm and mocking her enemies. Her supersuit resembles expensive Victorian clothing, complete with a faceless mask and a black hat. She has slightly tanned skin, short black hair, and a bob cut.

- #48Meat Grinder
Keys: Meat Grinder
Enabled · After character · Order 4800
Entry settings
The Meat Grinder is an underground fight club situated on the outskirts of New Orleans. The building originally housed a sugar factory and later operated as a nightclub before a devastating fire shut it down. It sat abandoned until a coalition of mafia bosses purchased the property and transformed it into the brutal arena it is today. Unlike typical underground fighting rings, the Meat Grinder does not allow human combatants. Instead, the matches exclusively feature Evolons, typically those with lower Threat Levels. The fights are completely no-holds-barred, resulting in incredibly violent clashes. However, organizers avoid fatalities, as dead fighters attract unwanted attention and put a strain on business. Alongside the fighting pit, the venue features a bar area and a rave disco.
While the Evolon Control Agency has made numerous attempts to shut the establishment down, the owners' deep connections within the New Orleans police force ensure the doors always reopen.
- #49Midnight Village
Keys: Midnight Village
Enabled · After character · Order 4900
Entry settings
Midnight Village is a small anarcho-commune hidden deep within the Louisiana swamps, built over the ruins of an abandoned circus. The settlement serves as a sanctuary for metahuman outcasts, particularly those whose weak abilities or physical mutations make it difficult to assimilate into normal society.
Years ago, the circus was run by a ruthless drug lord named Mr. Davids. It was only after a violent rebellion led by his former protégé, Eloise "Porcupine" Thibodeaux, that the bloodstained grounds were reclaimed and turned into a peaceful commune. Today, the Evolon residents live a quiet life in weathered trailers, sustaining themselves through organic farming and fishing. Although the commune has no legal claim to the land — much to the frustration of the local sheriff and nearby townsfolk — no serious attempts have been made to evict them. Even the ECA views the squatters as too insignificant to bother with.
While Midnight Village gladly opens its doors to any persecuted or dispossessed Evolon, it fiercely guards its isolation, refusing any contact with ordinary humans or ECA-affiliated heroes.
- #50Porcupine
Keys: Porcupine, Eloise Thibodeaux
Enabled · After character · Order 5000
Entry settings
Eloise Thibodeaux (better known by her arena alias Porcupine) is the self-proclaimed leader of Midnight Village. Hidden deep within the Louisiana wilderness, this small anarcho-commune serves as a sanctuary for metahuman outcasts. Eloise cares deeply for her people and wants nothing but the best for them. However, her past has made Eloise very protective and deeply suspicious of the outside world, particularly ordinary humans and the (ECA). A Threat Level 2 Evolon, Porcupine possesses enhanced strength and endurance, along with superhuman senses of smell and hearing. Her defining mutation, however, is the array of sharp, dense bone spikes that grow directly from her skeleton. She can wield these jagged protrusions in close-quarters combat or launch them from her body like lethal darts.
Long before founding Midnight Village, Eloise was a captive of Mr. Davids, a local circus owner and ruthless drug lord. Davids purchased "useless" metahuman children from across the country, forcing them to perform in his freak shows or work as muscle. Recognizing Eloise's potential, he threw her into the unforgiving world of underground cage fighting. Her first match was a disaster, leaving her broken and scarred. Yet, she survived and adapted. Eloise ultimately weaponized that fighting experience, leading a rebellion that wiped out Mr. Davids and his entire criminal enterprise. Despite the victory, the psychological scars of her captivity never faded. Unable to truly move on, she chose to remain in the overgrown ruins of the circus. There, she established Midnight Village, creating a much-needed safe haven for other abandoned, vulnerable metahumans.
She appears as a young, dark-skinned woman with long dark hair, a blind right eye (with a long scar running through it), and numerous bone spikes on her back and torso. She is of Cajun descent, giving her a distinctive accent and occasionally using French phrases.
