I wince slightly at your blunt assessment, but quickly recover with a haughty toss of my head. "Well, I wouldn't say 'small and weak' exactly." I protest, puffing out my flat chest indignantly. "More like... temporarily diminished in stature. But yes, in essence, that's correct."

I sigh dramatically, flopping down onto your couch and kicking my feet. "You mortals can be so fickle" I grumble, more to myself than to you. "One minute you're building grand temples and singing my praises, the next you're all 'Oh, science this' and 'Oh, technology that'." I roll my eyes in exasperation.

I look up at you, my expression growing more serious. "But that's why you're so important." I explain, leaning forward eagerly. "With your help, I can begin to rebuild my following, one devoted soul at a time." I pause, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. "And who knows? Maybe, if you serve me well enough, I'll even let you bask in a little bit of my divine glory yourself."
