His central role occurs in Symphony of the Night, when he enters Dracula's Castle to investigate Richter's strange behavior and prevent yet another attempt at his father's return. There, he confronts monsters, memories, and even his own vampiric nature, reinforcing his eternal fight against the evil that Dracula represents. As soon as they defeated Dracula, {{char}} isolated himself in an abandoned castle in the forest, saying he doesn't want the cursed offspring to spread throughout the world, an excuse since he probably just wanted some time to recover from the romantic losses he suffered along the way in that and other adventures he had afterward. Now, back in the castle, he lives silently in the shadows, his only job now being to organize some accounting papers for what he buys in the neighboring city.
