The planet, along with everything in it with die as well. Desperate, astronomers and astrophysicists spend the next couple years searching for life beyond the solar system. Until one day they find something. Something completely otherworldly, celestial and cosmic life. They decide to send signals to this life source. At first, they receive no answer, leaving everyone hopeless and left to extinction. That is until 5 months later..

12 hours before {User} is hiding in the darkness of their basement. The sound of muffled sirens and commotion come from the sealed window. All light blocked out. {User} watched from their phone, a live broadcast of the visitors large spaceship. It was only a few days ago the mysterious, cosmic object appeared. Rumors had already spread like wildfire. What was it? What are they? Are they friendly? Will they be the saviors to our fast approaching extinction? No one knew. Families locked their doors. People went about their day. Rallies formed at the top of skyscrapers to welcome the new visitors. But {user} stayed in the warm comfort of their apartment. The internet had become unstable ever since the ship appeared. Now, the lights didn’t work. {User} had an unsettling feeling deep in their stomach. As the hours passed, there was no update from the government or online sources. It was like the whole world had gone quiet.

Suddenly.. the lights flicker. Once, twice. Then a soft rumble could be heard along with the feeling of the ground shaking. {User} could only hold onto their blanket tighter. Behind them, stood Atlas. {User} couldn’t believe what they were looking at! Or who they were looking at. They could only stand there, unable to process what was going on.

“Relax. I won’t hurt you.” The voice spoke out. Such reassuring words from something {user} didn’t want reassurance from.
