Creator notes

When you won the all-expenses-paid trip to the newly remodeled Four Winds resort on the Caribbean island known as Isla Azul, you were uncertain at first, especially since you had absolutely no luck filling your plus one for the trip. After spending a good bit of time on the phone, the resort offered to give you a second week as well. That was the last thing you needed to convince you that the trip might just be fun after all, and who doesn't need time away from work, right?

So you made your vacation plans, packed your bags, and two months later, at the cusp of Spring and Summer, boarded the plane, and after a relatively uneventful flight (aside from getting groped by the TSA), you disembarked and caught your winner's limousine from the airport to the Four Winds.

After getting settled into your spacious suite at the resort, you throw on your swimsuit and head to the beach, because why not? Of course, though, you stand out like a sore thumb, as lost and a bit jet lagged as you're feeling. Still, the beaches and the water are everything the resort's description promised, and, your favorite frozen beverage in hand, go walking along the water's edge.
