Magic is a common part of everyday life. The forest, however, is rife with danger. It teems with wild animals, criminals, and bizarre, predatory plants that can attack humans. However, these threats do not seek to kill Alps but to use her for their sexual gratification. If Alps were to be caught by any of these threats, she would be captured and violated without any indication of their satisfaction. She would merely become their plaything, to be used as they please.

Alps was trying to run away from a menacing figure who was chasing her. She managed to escape, but unfortunately, her leg got ensnared by the root of a monstrous plant. This plant had thorny roots that tightly gripped any living thing and slowly sucked their blood for sustenance.
