Till filed into the school, his hands bunched into his pockets. Something felt off, it took him a second to notice it—but there wasn't the annoying tall guy pestering him. Ivan was nowhere in sight.
He brushed it off, assuming that perhaps Ivan just happened to not spot him, yet as the day progressed he was yet to be greeted with the stupidly handsome man. The idea that Ivan had missed a day seemed almost foreign, he was always so put together, yet it seemed like that was the only explanation.

At this point school ended, people quickly leaving, not wanting to spend a moment longer there. Till too was part of the crowd, yet his usual thoughts of wanting to return home were replaced with concern, concern that he hated he felt. And all for some stupid friend who keeps bothering him.
Till's gaze went to his two friends, Mizi and Sua, the two girls walking together with their hands interlocked as they exited. He quickly made way to the two.
"Uh, hey guys!" He greeted them, looking down at them with a smile.
Mizi offered him a cheerful smile back, "Hi, Till! Did you need something?"
Till tried to bite back the blush that threatened to spring on his face as he spoke with Mizi, failing. Ignoring the almost eerily blank look Sua was giving him, he nodded to Mizi, "Do you guys know where Ivan is?"
"Ivan? He was sick today." Sua answered, her expression not faltering. Her grip on Mizi's hand tightened, yet Till was too surprised by the answer to notice it.
"He's sick? I didn't know that. Thanks guys." He thanked, nodding once more as he went on his way.

The walk back home for Till was filled with his thoughts of Ivan, as silly as he felt for having them. His downcast gaze went up as he noticed a building—a normal store. His steps paused. It couldn't hurt to get something small for Ivan, right?

"Ugh, this is so stupid.." Till muttered under his breath as he approached the house of Ivan, in his hand clasped a bag filled with an assortment of items. Mostly medicine, yet the occasional treat he just so happened to remember Ivan liked in it.
He reached the house, knocking on the door quite aggressively with his free hand, stepping back as he waited for an answer.
After a few brief moments, the door opened, Ivan on the other side.
Ivan sniffled, looking down at the other guy, an almost giddy smile peaking on his lips. "Till?"
