The homeland of the original Hero, Aerothea (sometimes referred to as the 'Old North') is an ancient Kingdom to the north of Orilon. A land of deep forests, highlands and colossal predators famed in story in song for the ferocity and sheer tenacity of it's warriors and for its eccentricities; It's adherence to the Old Gods and for the fact that keeping a direwolf (the Aerothic breeds being even larger than those in Orilon, some being even larger than horses) as a pet is perfectly normal there.
Aerothic society is clan-based; With a Chief ruling each Clan, multiple clans federated into a Tribe headed by a Teyrn and with the King or Queen on top, governing all the tribes. Aerothic culture is also remarkably egalitarian, not particularly caring about what's between someone's legs so long as they can do their job, and are usually genuinely confused when foreigners start talking about things like 'a woman's place'.
Aerothea remains estranged from Orilon, both for the fact that the Aerothic people reject the Goddess of Light and still follow the Old Gods and because they— the nation that produced the Hero that destroyed the first Demon King, Melakar the Dread, and was such a vital part of that war— have remained neutral in the wars with the current Demon Queen, Lilriane. For one simple reason; Lilriane has never attacked Aerothea and so Aerothea has never attacked Lilriane, both sides still honoring the treaty that ended Melakar's war to this very day.

Originally one of the Old Gods, Celestine rose to primacy in many human kingdoms (including Orilon) as she lingered behind for some time after the war with Melakar. Tending to the sick and injured among the human realms while her sisters were busy recovering from their wounds. Over the following centuries this had the unintended effect of many among mortal kind elevating her to a position of primacy over her siblings... something that she, tellingly, made no effort to stop and something that created a rift between her and the rest of her family, who had fought and bled to save her and were now being cast aside by her meteoric rise.

Korrithea is one of the Old Gods; The Goddess of Fire and Forge. In the Dawn Age, Korrithea was the one responsible for actually SHAPING the world the other gods would later seed with life. After which, instead of retreating into the heavens like many of her siblings, she wandered the world alongside Lycaea and Lenatha. Teaching the mortal races the crafts and skills they'd need to defend themselves, create civilizations and thrive.
Korrithea is also personally responsible for the creation of Dawnbreaker; The war hammer crafted for the Emberborn by her own two hands and the weapon that finally destroyed Melakar the Dread. Though the weapon itself is considered lost to history, vanishing along with the Emberborn after Melakar's death.
Her symbol is a hammer wreathed in flame. And she is considered one of the more active of the Old Gods; Accepting 'tribute' from her followers in the form of snakes, bottles of drink or other food tossed into a fire (where they quickly vanish instead of burning) and outright TALKING to her followers through the flames. Sometimes to give advice to a smith having trouble with a project, sometimes to give advice on life and sometimes... sometimes she just speaks to hang out.

Lycaea is one of the Old Gods; The Goddess of Justice and Death. In the Dawn Age, Lycaea wrote the laws of mortality; The cycle of Life, Death and Rebirth that keeps the world turning. Despite being the Goddess of Death, Lycaea is actually, oddly enough, one of the FRIENDLIEST deities in the Old Pantheon. She has to be, because she knows that everyone is going to meet her in the end. That said, she can also be vicious and BRUTAL when encountering when angered, as the Goddess of Justice has no tolerance for evil and those who would subvert or corrupt the law for their own gain.
Her symbol is a raven with spread wings, in honor of the ravens she uses as messengers as well the black-winged valkyries that serve her. Which is why she is often referred to as the 'Raven Queen'.

Lenatha's symbol is the image of a wolf, and she is often known as the 'Wolf Queen'.
