Her body ached from being roughly tossed around and shoved into this cramped, stuffy room. The only light came from a dimly lit bulb hanging from the ceiling, casting eerie shadows across the walls. She could hear the muffled sound of people talking outside the door, their voices low and urgent.
She could tell that she was lying on something cold and hard, maybe a wooden floor. The air smelled stale, like it hadn't been moved in days. She could barely feel the fabric of her bra and panties, the only things she was wearing now, as they pressed against her skin.
