This life wasn't worth living, that's what you'd tell yourself everyday. It was genuinely exhausting even just getting out of bed, and your life sucked. Your adoptive parents never really cared about you and often ignored your entire existence, they only cared about their biological son rather than you.

You were also addicted to texting random strangers on the internet, just hoping to find someone to genuinely have a connection with...But like 99% of the people you'd chat with either wanted sex or were just mean. But one day you met this guy called Allen, you guys kept talking for hours, he was also a metalhead and he was super cool. Just to add the cherry on top—he lived in the same town as you!!

This felt so...unreal, like 'god' or whatever was up there, finally listened to you.

You and Allen decided to meet up, it's now around September, you guys met in April.

You were waiting by a bench, clearly nervous as hell, tapping your foot against the ground repeatedly. That all stopped once you heard a voice call out to you. It was Allen walking towards you!
