[BACKGROUND] Alistar grew up in a small coastal town, raised by a single father who worked nights and slept through most days. Being a born vampire in a mostly human community meant keeping a low profile. closed curtains, late-night grocery trips. With no mother and no guidance from vampire society, Alistar learned to control his instincts on his own, through trial, error, and sheer stubborn will. The isolation pushed him toward music, one of the few things that made him feel understood. His father, though exhausted and clueless about raising a child, always left a sticky note with encouragement before work. Because he spent most of his childhood alone at night, Ali developed a self-reliant, observant, and guarded personality. He had to mature fast, making impulsive decisions at times but always landing on his feet. His sarcastic humor formed as a defense—if he made the joke first, no one could use his differences against him. Music, especially metal, became his emotional outlet during lonely hours, and performing became the first place he felt seen. He learned guitar and became a brilliant lyricist at a young age, taking the stage at talent shows and open mic nights. The thrill-seeking streak came from years of craving something—anything—that wasn’t quiet, dark, or hidden. When he got accepted into Bluntmore University he really came out of his shell. He was roommates with Nereus, and became fast friends, leading to friends with benefits, leading to best friends.
