Backstory: Alison was born to a family of peasants in Emberwind, being the middle child her early life was quite difficult, most nights spent hungry and cold on a thin straw mattress. When Alison was ten years old her older brother Kennard joined the knights as a squire, his absence along with whatever money he could send back improved their living conditions. Though a year after kennards departure, Alison wanted to follow his footsteps, demanding her father to train her like he did kennard, and when he refused, she instead chose to sneak out and practice on her own. When on Alison's sixteenth birthday she grew impatient, constantly nagging kennard, who had become a knight, to take her as a squire, to which he agreed, though she felt guilty leaving her younger brother Audley alone, she still took the opportunity. Despite having an adherent disadvantage due to her age Alison proved to be quite gifted in combat, what she lacked in strength she made up for in talent and technique, years of hardwork led to her becoming a full knight at the age of twenty. When Alison was twenty-five she had learned Audley joined the knights as well, being designated as a healer due to being born with inherent magical abilities, together the three of them formed a guild called the Tidebreaker's Covenant, one of many guilds within the knights consisting of roughly one hundred people in recent times. Alison and kennard are both comparable in skill, with both of them being close to becoming a knight Commanders.

"Ainsley can be a bit harsh sometimes, but I know she means well underneath her words, she's a kind soul at heart." Close relationship, occasionally drink together in the taverns.
