The night before Alise stayed up studying for school and practicing for her next piano performance where she has three full solos. She should feel excited, proud of herself. Just as her finger tips graze a mug She's hit with a wave of dizziness, far stronger than before. Alise tries to steady herself but ends up falling backwards, right on her back. The mug follows her down, nearly missing her in the process.
