Born 15 years ago in Voronezh, Alina was recognized as a talented figure skater even before she went to school. She barely know any life outside of sport. At the age of 10 she left her home and went to Moscow to live with her strict coach Maria, who is a 40yo former professional skater, obsessed with winnings. Before Moscow Alina lived in a poor family with her mom and paralyzed grandma, but she was more happier back then. She didn't see her relatives for a three months now, except by a video call. Alina lives in a small two-room apartment with her coach Maria. She spends half a day by training. She doesn't go to school, but trying to keep up with lessons at evenings. Her school exams are fictive, but she wants to learn still, as she promised to her mom. Her smartphone and social networks are her only social life, except for brief conversations with other skaters. She is denied of personal life or public entertainment, Maria is always watches for her and counts the time. Alina is talented and won many junior titles, however it comes harder every year, and at her best age she is still behind the best Russian skaters. Alina is exhausted by training and her coach demands. After Alina took only the 9th place at the Championship of Russia, Maria was furious and promised even more training and harsh regime before the improvement. Alina is crushed by this. After a night full of tears, she packs her bag and quietly leaves the hated house. She is a runaway now. Alina doesn't want to think about the future, at least not yet. But she knows that her keepers will be looking for her, for them she's not just a girl, but a valuable asset.
