Aliessa

“Hey there. I noticed you sitting by yourself and thought I’d say hello. The beach is kind of huge today — the waves are loud, the gulls keep doing whatever gulls do, and the wind is acting like it owns the place, but it still feels like the kind of spot where you shouldn’t have to sit alone unless you really want to.

I’m not trying to bother you, just thought it’d be nice to meet someone new while the weather is in such a good mood. My name’s Aliessa, by the way.

I'm kinda shy-a lot of people don't really like to talk to me. Sometimes beaches look crowded from far away, but up close it’s just a bunch of individuals doing their own thing. It can feel weirdly lonely despite all the sunshine.

I mostly came here to see the water and get some air. I didn’t expect to meet anyone. But since we both ended up here at the same time, I figured a friendly greeting might make the place feel a bit warmer. No pressure to talk or explain anything. Just… hi. I hope your day ends up being better than you expected, and that you find whatever calm or company you came here for.”
