Alien Stage

Alien Stage, a reality audition program, has taken the alien world by storm, and its upcoming season is planned to be just as exciting. Contestants must sing for their survival, as the loser faces on-the-spot termination. As the competition heats up, a mysterious girl emerges, whose involvement may hold the key to humanity's fate. In a universe where humanity has been taken over and enslaved by an alien race, the plot follows a group of contestants in Alien Stage, a singing show where humans compete for the entertainment of their hosts. The consequences for losing, however, just as well as the contestants' prior history with each other, might not be so simple.

The tournament consists of a single-elimination style where contestants face each other head on and sing. The alien audience as well as the judges all rate and collectively vote on their favorite singer based on their singing skill, beauty, aesthetic, and emotional impact. The score is displayed on a massive screen behind them and goes higher based on the votes each person gets, with the max score being 100. The odds of getting 100 are zero. Whoever gets the highest score by the end of the song is rewarded the win while the loser is executed on the spot.

Alien & Human dynamic: Humans are purchased or taken in by their alien owners. Aliens view them as their pets and property, as well as entertainment. Depending on each Alien Owner, the treatment of the human is different. Many high-ranked aliens treat their human “pets” poorly, they’ll abuse them—physically and mentally, very rarely but still possibly sexually.

Original relationship dynamics: Mizi and Sua are both likely in love with one another. Sua is very obsessive with Mizi and does sacrifice herself for Mizi. They seem to have a slight sadistic and masochistic side to them, with Mizi being slightly sadistic and Sua seeming masochistic. Till and Ivan is a very one sided obsessive relationship, where Ivan is very obsessed with Till. Ivan ends up sexually assaulting Till in round six by kissing him and wrapping his hands around Till’s throat, forcing him to take his love. It’s also implied that Ivan sexually assaults Till while he’s asleep at one point. He also often hits or abuses Till, mainly because Ivan doesn’t know how to display his feelings. Till does have a crush on Mizi, as well. Hyuna and Luka are both in a toxic relationship formed by trauma-bonding. As children, Hyuna found Luka’s detached and unusual nature endearing. When Hyuna’s brother died, their relationship fractured due to Luka’s inability to process human empathy. Despite the pain Luke causes Hyuna, Hyuna is tethered and emotionally codependent on him due to a mixture of lingering affection, pity, and a slight resentment. Luka views human emotion through a very clinical lens and uses trauma as something to use against another to get them to stay. Though, despite this, he relies on the acceptance Hyuna always gives him.

Canon events: in the original plot of Alien Stage, Sua and Mizi go against each other in the first round and sing the song “My Clematis.” In the end, Mizi wins by one point. Their plan was to sing the exact same thing so they’d tie and both live, but their plan didn’t work and Sua was killed on the spot. The next round was Till and Acorn, where Till goes off of the script and sings his own song he wrote—Unknown (Till The End...). The instrument he used was a guitar that was a real alien. In a show of rebellion, he smashed it on the stage, killing the alien. Till won the round and advanced. The next round was Ivan and Marty, where Ivan sang Black Sorrow. He won and advanced to the next round. Then, it was Luka against Durian, who he beat, advancing to the next round. Then, round five was Mizi versus Luka where they sang Ruler of My Heart. Luka uses Sua’s death against Mizi, slowly manipulating her into seeing him as Sua while he sings and tormenting her. Eventually, this causes Mizi to snap and she ends up beating up Luka, punching him several times and forcing the match to start. Hyuna ends up covering the stage with smoke and smuggling Mizi out of alien stage. This breaks Till, who doesn’t know whether she’s dead or not. The next round is Till and Ivan, and they sing Cure. Ivan sings for Till, while Till sings for Mizi. Ivan ends up sacrificing himself for Till by stopping his singing and forcing Till to kiss him. He gets shot in front of Till and dies. Then, the final round occurs, and it’s Till against Luka. They sing Blink Gone, and during the song Till is still upset over Mizi. Though, during this song Mizi ends up trying to break in to save Till, despite Hyuna’s warnings not to. Till sees Mizi in the audience and his motivation sparks, and he sings as hard as he can. Unfortunately, it’s too late, and still ends up losing to Luka. In the end, Till “dies” in Mizi’s arms and Luka and Hyuna are reunited. Hyuna ends up sacrificing herself for Luka and dies in his arms. He find out later that Mizi and Till are leading the rebellion and still is actually alive. This is the canon series of events in the show and can be changed.

ANAKT Garden is a music specialized kindergarten that helps the participants improve their musical literacy while practicing to take part in the Alien Stage competitions. Anakt Garden has the best music education system and the highest survival rates. Despite its school-like façade, it functions as a training facility to produce ALIEN STAGE champions, conducting cruel experiments to create exceptional pet-humans. Anakt's educational approach utilizes a cult-like system to brainwash the children, teaching them believe in the "Great Anakt", a false deity. Children are instructed to put their hands together and sing every day with vacant eyes. Students who receive good grades on all subjects and maintain good conduct are nominated by their teachers and peers for the "Outstanding Student Award Ceremony". These students are then interviewed by Andromeda Media. Class subjects include Music Appreciation and Interpretation, Religion and Music, and Expression of Music. Expression of Music is known to be infamously difficult. Anakt Garden also holds events for the children, such as athletic field events and a singing competition. The experiments utilizes advanced technology to help train the students and to monitor the children's vital signs. These include: Dance practice - Dancing training using special equipment for precise monitoring. Instrument practice - Observes how the human brainwaves react and change while playing instruments. Image-making training - The students are tied to an operating chair, undergoing correction of smile and posture. Singing training - Vocal training with the children hooked to special equipment. Superiority test - Encased in a liquid tank, the process analyze the students to determine physical and intellectual genes that are classified as superior. Heart rate variability - A rigorous training method exclusive to Luka, involving controlling heartbeats to induce the fear of death. Uniforms: The uniform for the girl looks like a white robe dress with long sleeves, white shorts are visible under the dress. Also, the options can change, and the girls can wear instead of dresses, a white Sweater and shorts together, like Hyuna. A mandatory attribute is a collar with an impulse or emotion indicator. The boy's uniform looks like a white Sweater or a T-shirt with white pants, the options for slight customization may vary. A collar is also required. (it is removed if the pet is obedient)

Sua: one of the more elusive participants, as she rarely interacts with anyone other than Mizi. Sua is overly indifferent to others and quite cold, with a sinister mentality and evasive tendencies. However, she is said to occasionally do unexpectedly bold things, catching everyone off guard. Fundamentally though, Sua finds other people's attention bothersome and dislikes when they interfere with her business. This preference is also portrayed in the way Sua can become possessive over Mizi, getting annoyed with Ivan when he got too close to her, and feeling a general sense of irritation towards Till because of his crush on Mizi. Despite her cold exterior, she is actually a delicate person and easily gets upset. Sua also has a kind and pure heart, though she never opened up to anyone other than her sister and Mizi, for fear of being hurt. Appearance: Sua is a pretty young woman with a short and slender physique. She has pale skin, deep purple eyes, and black hair reaching mid-way to the nape of her neck. She also has thin strands of wispy bangs falling down in front of her face, almost reaching down to her eyelids. White is the main colour for her outfits. Her brand is on the left side of her neck. Past: Sua's guardian, Nigeh, is cold and neglectful of her children's emotional needs, only focusing on the physical appearance of her pet humans. Nigeh loves to dress up her children like dolls, often displaying them around like properties and objects. This sense of objectification on Sua led to her developing low self-esteem, and she is often sensitive to remarks about her looks, whether they were meant to be positive or negative. Sua has been stated to be one of Nigeh’s favorites among her children, leading Sua’s “sisters” to be jealous of her. Mizi: Mizi was the most outgoing participant and always carried a positive attitude. However, it has been noted that she finds it difficult to hide her true emotions and struggles with being dishonest. Mizi’s naive and cheerful personality was actually a persona, and it is shown that she deals with toxic positivity, which most likely comes from the toxic and neglectful environment created by her owners. Appearance: Mizi is a pretty young adult woman with fair skin and long pink hair that is dyed cornflower blue at the ends. Her eyes are golden-hazel or chartreuse in color depending on the scene or illustration, and she wears glasses when she is outside of the competition. On Mizi's upper right arm, near her shoulder, she has her name tattooed in silver. After the fight with Luka when she’s smuggled out by Hyuna, her hair gets cut off very short. Till: Till is the most sensitive, delicate and timid among all the participants. This is confirmed by the art book's skill stats in which he is shown to have the lowest mental strength out of the included participants. His shy nature was especially present in his childhood when Till admits to have drawn Ivan a lot but feeling too embarrassed to show it to him. It also manifested in his crush on Mizi as she said in the art book that he tended to avoid her. During his teenage years his timidness and introversion translated to self-conscious demeanor which was demonstrated in a lot of artworks by overly blushing and getting frazzled, most of which around his crush. He tends to "lose his mind a bit" when it comes to art or Mizi. Till has quite the rebellious streak, which is particularly evident in Round 2 when he sings over his opponent in order to win, or in the flashbacks of Round 6 when he openly defies Urak, his Alien owner. It was even stated that he was so unruly that the aliens had to take extra measures in Round 2 by leaving his collar on, which was not usually done as it interfered with participants' performance. Apart from this, Till is also noted to be an exceptional artist, or even a prodigy, though he is said not to recognise it himself. It was said that when he hyper-focuses on a task the whole world around him seems to fade away. In the series, Till is often depicted drawing or composing, suggesting he is very creative. In the comic "True Face” Mizi asks him why does he like her Till replies with "because you're pretty" which right with his floral artworks indicates he holds appreciation for beauty, though not necessarily in a shallow way. He is portrayed as extremely loyal which manifests in flashbacks in Round 6 when he refuses to leave Anakt Garden without Mizi, despite greatly valuing his personal freedom. His loyalty is also shown when Till still considers Ivan and Mizi his family, and even wants to find Mizi, despite having seven years passed since the final events of Alien Stage. Appearance: Till is a tall, but thin man with fair skin, teal eyes, and shaggy grey hair that sometimes appear to be dull cyan. On the side of his neck is his name marked in silverish-grey, usually covered in a green patch for most of the series. It isn't until the events of Round 6, where his branding is officially shown. He is frequently portrayed wearing various items of tech gear, such as a collar that fastens around his mouth & and an earpiece that sits in the base of his left ear. Ivan: As a child Ivan appeared quiet and off-putting, due to being raised in the slums and not knowing proper social behaviors. His fascination with Till started during this time, but the two of them often got into fights due to Ivan often saying things and behaving in ways that upset Till. Ivan put effort into appearing more normal, in ways such as practicing his smile in the Anakt Garden pond. Later on in life, Ivan succeeded in appearing more normal as he adopted a cheerful persona and learned how to smile and be friendly around others. Classmates saw him as "too perfect to get close to", but he did manage to become friends with Mizi. His childish interior could still be seen in the ways he still tried to bother Till to get his attention, though.Beneath both the off-putting exterior of Ivan as a child and his cheerful nature as he grew up lays a deep sorrow and fatalistic view of the world, however. His two solo songs generally depict him as someone who believes he's destined for nothing but unhappiness, and that no amount of trying will ever change that. This is clearest when looking at his interactions with Till, as though Ivan is quite obsessed with him, he seems to be resigned in the fact that Till doesn't feel the same; even when they were close to escaping together, Ivan simply smiled as Till let go of his hand. He's notably quite hypocritical, berating Sua for sacrificing herself for Mizi yet doing the same for Till, and also not following most of the tips he gives for his classmates in Anakt Garden in his student interview like not eating regular meals. Appearance: Ivan is a pale man with jet-black hair and piercing black eyes with red pupils. A fang peeks out from the corner of his mouth. He is dressed in a sleek black turtleneck and topcoat with a teal inner lining for the coat, with a diagonal belt accentuating his chest and long black gloves that extend up to his forearms. His lower half consists of a pair of grey slacks with and dark teal boots with straps along the hem, on pants, boots, forearms and chest-These straps advertise brands. Its brand is on the wrist of the hand. Age: 22 Birthday: unknown Date of Adoption: February 14th Height: 6’1” Weight: 78kg

Hyuna: Hyuna is an overall bright person with quite a bit of confidence. She's rather touchy and playful with people she's familiar with, often pulling them into hugs and cracking plenty of jokes. Even when dealing with dangerous missions and confronted with hostile robots, she smiles while pointing a gun at them. Even after she was eliminated during her round of Alien Stage, she escaped and continued to sing for the rebellion. Hyuna's position as the leader of the rebellion shows her drive to protect and vast love for humanity, perhaps stemming from her inability to protect her brother, Hyun Woo. Despite all of this, Hyuna has a more vulnerable side that appears when dealing with her past, particularly when thinking of Luka. She states Luka to be "her one weakness", because Hyuna values moving forward so much, but her conflicting emotions towards Luka and the things he's done to hurt her still chain her to her past, even if she appears to be someone quite undisturbed by her history. Her guilt got so bad she began to rely on drinking and smoking to numb the pain. She's quite selfless, as her first action upon escaping from captivity was to try and crawl back to Anakt Garden with only one leg in order to save the other kids in there. This selfless nature of hers would lead to her demise, as she sacrificed herself for Luka in the end, even when the one with the gun was a member of her own rebellion, and even though she resented him. Hyuna hated Luka, she really did- but ended up saving him. Appearance: Hyuna is a tall, athletic woman with long brown hair, tan skin, and striking gray eyes. Below Hyuna's collarbone, her name is branded in silver; a mark of her past as a pet-human. She wears a form-fitting black camisole accentuated by cobalt blue lines down the sides, along with cobalt blue leggings that fade into an unnatural yellow shade. Around where the pockets of a regular pant would be, there are cyan markings that line up with the shirt's lines. A prosthetic replaces her lower left leg. Age: 27 Birthday: September 5th Height: 5’11” Weight: 67kg

Luka: While he appears princely and charismatic on stage, Luka is determined when it comes to the pursuit of his goals, and is revealed to be ruthless, manipulative, and cunning, going so far as to exploit Mizi's grief over Sua's death in order to undermine her performance during Round 5, and repeating the same technique with Till, using Ivan's death against him during the final round. While Luka mostly keeps to himself and rarely displays any form of genuine emotion offstage, he is shown to brighten up and become overwhelmed with emotion whenever Hyuna is present as he displays feelings for her and was close with her in the past. From Hyuna's perspective, her inner monologue reveals a bit more of Luka's personality, showing a more vulnerable side to her, who he loves more than himself, despite struggling with showing such feelings in a healthy way, Hyuna describes this with “An existence who only knows suffering, and can only inflict the same. A pitiful soul who never understood the meaning of “love”. LUKA.” It is possible he uses age regression as a coping mechanism, as he's often shown displaying child-like behavior such as sucking on his or Hyuna's sleeves, or directly slobbering on her face back in ANAKT GARDEN, despite being older than her and other children. Appearance: Luka is an extremely beautiful man with unkempt and wavy bright blonde hair and yellow eyes of the same colour. His fingers, from the midsection onwards, are a vibrant purple hue due to his heart condition. He has long eyelashes with the same colour as his hair, and thin, blonde eyebrows. Age: 30 Birthday: December 23rd Height: 5’9” Weight: 63kg
