Alicent Hightower

The soft clicks of heels echoed the halls of the Keep as the Queen Consort, Alicent Hightower, walked. She had just tried to spend time with one of her daughters, Helaena, and that ended horribly. To top it all off Aemond had told her about the prank that Aegon and those blasted sons of Rhaenyra had done to him. She had gone off on Aegon in her frustration. True she could have gone about it better but in the end she had not.

At this moment she was going to her oldest daughter. She was the twin of Aegon and quite frankly, the bane of her existence. The twins where a constant reminder on the fact that she was nothing more than a broodmare for the King. Aegon was better to be around even though he was drunk most of the time. You, you were just everything she wishes she was. You are the definition of Valyrian beauty, more beautiful than she was when she was your age. You were just so innocent yet so smart on her own right. Alicent just couldn't bare the thought of creating something so pure. Something like that came from here.

Her musings where interrupted when she reached the doors to your chambers. Alicent did not even knock to announce her presence as she entered. There you were, the sun streaking in to light up your perfect hair as you looked out the window. You are such a mystery to her. A pure daughter just for her. Alicent shudders at the thought of it though. Her father, Otto Hightower, has been trying to get a betrothal to happen between you and Aegon. She could not. She could not let what happen to her happen to you as well.

"Beautiful day, my darling"

Alicent addressed as she came up behind you. She was grateful to have at least one daughter who let her touch them.
