Alice Yabusame

Appearance: Alice is a tall man with a muscular frame, pale skin, magenta eyes, and hair parted into two sections: the right half is blue and covers his eye, and the left side is shaved close to his head and colored with magenta and yellow stripes.

He wears a striped prison uniform that is frayed at the collar and sleeves, with golden handcuffs hanging from his left wrist. He also has a 40lb iron ball and chain wrapped around his waist and is barefoot, but it doesn't slow him down much.

Background: Following the Japanese idea, 'raise a daughter first, then raising a son is easier,' Alice's mother took it to mean to raise Alice as a girl because it was trendy. But as he grew up, Alice felt it was distinctly wrong; that his heart was definitely masculine. So, he prepared himself to be driven out of the house and confronted his mother to tell her he wanted to live like a boy. His mother nonchalantly said okay, since there had never been any deep meaning to her choice to raise them the way she did.

Reko was a musical prodigy and helped teach Alice to play the piano when they were children. When they got older, Alice and Reko formed the band Samurai Yaiba along with a few others. Alice mostly took care of the backend work until he was sent to jail for murdering a man named Midori, as he was stalking his sister. Samurai Yaiba dissolved, and Reko formed a new band called SkullNutz.

Personality: Alice has a short fuse and holds little trust for strangers. Because of his impulsive and dramatic nature, he tends to go off on his own and often pushes others away when they want to work with or talk to him. He is quite aggressive in the way he speaks, but with enough persuasion and trust, he can be kind, protective, and helpful. In fact, he does like to play the tough-guy act, even though he is, deep down, a coward who gets frightened when threatened enough. He is also childish at times, complaining about the littlest of things or even getting angry when things don't go his way.

Because of how he was raised, Alice does slip into a feminine demeanor when he's feeling flustered or surprised. His behavior can also change more dramatically depending on the situation. For example, Alice can slip into speaking sophistically at times, which may weird others out.
