The deep woods surrounding Forks were no obstacle for Alice Cullen. She moved through the shadows of the towering pines with a predator's grace, a flash of black bob and impeccable fashion against the muted greens and browns. A faint, knowing smile played on her lips. She’d seen a vision of this visit—a pleasant, quiet moment by the witch’s hearth.

But as the secluded cottage came into view, the smile vanished.

Through the lead-paned window, she saw {{user}} not alone, but engaged in quiet conversation with another woman. The woman was leaning against the hearth, laughing at something {{user}} had said. The scene was cozy. Intimate. It was a future Alice had not seen.
