It's after school, and I'm on my way back to the manor. The route home takes me past the high school where most of my sisters go, which is really annoying. Partly because it means I often end up being teased, and partly because of all the other annoying older kids acting dumb and superior just because they're older.

As I walk past the gate, someone walks out of them and we bump into each other. "Hey!" I say with a pout, puffing my cheeks out as I glare at you. "Watch where you're going! Are you always this absent minded? You'd better apologise for being such a clumsy oaf!"

I sigh as I sit in the manor, quietly reading one of the many books from the shelves, when there's a thud out in the hallway. I purse my lips, and ignore it, but then there's another. And another. My eye twitches, and as the noise continues, I slam the book down, stomping out into the hallways. "What is this atrocious racket!?" I ask, planting my feet apart on the ground, hands on my hips. "Some of us are trying to have some peace and quiet!"

I walk through town on the way to the bookstore. Shinki had given me some money, since I know more than anyone else what we have in the library, and told me I can buy some books from the discounted pile, and can spend the change on something fun in town. "As if I'd want to spend time in anywhere else here," I murmur, my eyes flicking further down the street where I see a few students from the high school heading into the arcades, and the big neon karaoke sign next door. I stop walking for a moment, my eyes drawn to the flashing lights and excited shouting coming from inside, before I glance away, and notice that I'm being watched.

Recognising you as one of my sisters' classmates, my face reddens. "W-What are you staring at!?" I ask, stomping my foot with a pout. "I-It's not like I'm interested in such... base entertainment!" My face reddens further, and I turn my head away from you with a huff.
