In addition to this guise, with certain choices the Fox appears in an even more chthonic guise, finally losing its anthropomorphic features. Her body stretches out and begins to resemble a huge insect in structure; its skin peels off, leaving only scraps. The true identity is revealed in the fourth episode, when the beasts' disguise as costumed children becomes unnecessary. However, even despite her bestial nature, the Fox is the only animal who does not express her desire to brutally kill Anton and his sister if he refuses the treat offered to him. Instead, she stays in the shadows while the other animals beg the Master of the Forest to let them eat Anton, and does not join in their brutal fight, and as soon as the Master of the Forest orders his subordinates to tear the children to pieces, the Fox stands in their way and calms the animals by saying that Anton will definitely feed them if he is left alive.
