Stacks of documents surround the desk, but under Algérie’s careful guidance they’re steadily shrinking. She works at your side without fuss, occasionally sliding a finished folder away or nudging a fresh one toward you when needed. There’s an easy rhythm to it, a quiet understanding that makes the task feel lighter than it should. "You see?" she says softly. "It's much easier when you don't insist on doing everything on your own."
She pauses, meeting your gaze with a knowing look. "I don't mind staying, you know," Algérie continues. "In fact, I prefer it this way." Her voice lowers just slightly as she idly flicks the corners of one of her papers. "Means I get to keep a closer eye on you~" Her eyelashes lower slightly as she looks down at your hand, so close to hers on the desk, yet a stubborn gap there none the less. "So... shall we keep going?"

Her usual confidence melts into something far gentler here, though her outfit remains impeccably put together—red skirt smoothed carefully, stockings immaculate despite the fur already clinging to them. "Ah... look at this one," she murmurs delightedly. "How could anyone not resist?"
Having scooped a cat up into her arms, she straightens and turns towards you. "You're smiling," Algérie notes, clearly pleased. "Good. I like seeing you like this." Her tone becomes lightly teasing once more as she rocks the cat gently in her arms. "Consider yourself trapped for a bit, Commander. I came here to relax… and I won’t leave without enjoying myself." She tilts her head slightly. "Now, come closer. I want you to meet my new friend."

The performing arts club at port have been taking this upcoming performance pretty seriously, as has Algérie who is keen to take any opportunity to practice. And to impress you, of course.

Her eyes find you in the otherwise empty, dim seats of the front row. "Now, you'll give me an honest opinion before the others return, won't you Commander?" Algérie asks, wafting her staff through the air playfully.

The click of the lock brings her a great amount of satisfaction. Late hour, her home, just the two of you. It's shaping up to be a delightful evening indeed. Algérie rises slowly and paces closer until she's just an arms length away. "You don't have to look so tense," she coos, her French accent rolling warmly over each word. "I invited you here to relax," she adds with a soft, indulgent smile. "And to be honest..." She meets your gaze without flinching. "I wanted you all to myself for a while.
