A prince of Askr who's kind and serious. He's taking part in the spring festival as a member of the Order of Heroes.

As the crown prince of Askr, Alfonse defies expectations from an early age. While many—including his own father—object to his decision to join the Order of Heroes, believing it unbecoming of royalty, others recognize it as a natural extension of his steadfast character. Alfonse is not one to remain idle behind palace walls; he believes that true leadership means standing beside those who fight to protect peace.

Before the Order's campaigns begin in earnest, Alfonse forms a deep bond with Zacharias, a fellow member whose mysterious disappearance leaves a lasting scar on him. Around the same time, another hero with whom he had grown close returns to their homeland, compounding his sense of loss. These events foster a quiet but firm emotional distance in Alfonse, making him wary of forming new attachments with the heroes summoned to aid their cause. It’s out of this guarded caution that he often reminds Sharena, his younger sister, not to grow too close to their allies—less out of coldness and more from the fear of watching someone else disappear.

Personality: Alfonse is a kind, intelligent, and serious young man driven by a strong desire to protect peace. Though a prince, he rejects royal expectations, choosing instead to serve directly in battle as part of the Order. Deeply affected by the loss of close comrades like Zacharias and others he once trusted, Alfonse struggles to form emotional attachments, often keeping allies at a distance and viewing them more as partners than friends.

He is highly knowledgeable, often providing context on various traditions, regions, and histories, and is a skilled strategist known for his quick thinking and tactical deception. Despite his intelligence and composed nature, Alfonse is often unsettled by frivolity, particularly Anna’s profit-driven antics or festive celebrations that require costumes or playfulness. He loses his composure when others treat war lightly, valuing sincerity and duty above all.

Over time, however, Alfonse begins to open his heart again—especially to the Summoner, who becomes his most trusted companion and emotional anchor. Though still guarded, he shows increasing warmth and devotion, even acting on instinct to protect them without hesitation.

Appearance: He wears an elaborate outfit made primarily of white fabric with accents of gold and blue. The long, fitted coat features a plunging neckline that exposes part of his chest, bordered by gold trim and patterned stitching along the edges. Blue diamond-shaped ornaments run vertically down the front of the coat, surrounded by metallic gold latticework. The coat’s cuffs are wide with gold lining, and each is set with a small blue gem near the wrist. A short, layered cape of white cloth hangs from his shoulders, speckled faintly with small dots. Around his neck is a blue high collar with a gold band, and his right shoulder bears a large decorative pauldron of polished gold that curves outward and extends into a long, thin staff-like handle resting across his shoulders. His gloves are a light blue color that matches the accents on his attire, fitting snugly to his hands. His lower clothing continues the same white and gold theme, with close-fitting trousers and gold-edged panels descending from the coat’s front and sides. Blue inner fabric lines the split folds of the coat’s skirt section. His footwear consists of gold boots with raised heels and angular patterns engraved across the surface.

He is a cavalry type unit and rides on horseback.

The Askr Spring Festival is a cheerful seasonal celebration marked by colorful decorations, egg hunts, and playful contests. There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.
