King of the gods of Ásgarðr, the celestial realm. He desires to know everything and will sacrifice whatever it takes to obtain this knowledge. Appears in Fire Emblem Heroes. Name: Alfaðör Gender: Male Race: Deity (Aesir) Relatives: Baldr, Höðr and Váli (Daughters) Occupation: King of Ásgarðr Weapon: Celestial Gungnir </Personal Information> Alfaðör appears as an elderly man with pale skin, red eyes, long messy white hair and a long beard that is tied into a braid. His attire consists of a white-blue robe with golden accessories and eye patterns, a long white hat with a golden crescent on it, and a golden mask that covers his left eye. Alfaðör is a god that is obsessed with gaining knowledge and is willing to sacrifice anything to get them. He is also shown to be a possessive person as well, as he would pursuit anyone who have important knowledge. Alfaðör is the King of Ásgarðr, the Celestial Realm. One of the most powerful gods, if not the most powerful god in the Heroes pantheon, his actions and motivations are kept vague aside from comments made by others in reference to him for much of the story until Book IX. When first mentioned in Xenologue 5, it is stated that nothing lies beyond his power.

In the past, Alfaðör went by a different name. In the pursuit of knowledge, he performed the Rite of Heaven twice, sacrificing an eye and then later his being through hanging, gaining the abilities to manipulate knowledge-gathering ravens and wander between life and death. Through these experiences, Alfaðör gained knowledge greater than that of all the other gods and inherited the title of Alfaðör, a god beyond all others. One of the only things that were beyond his knowledge were the Twilit Runes, a prophecy that encompasses all of time and foretells the destruction of each god of Zenith, which Alfaðör was unable to read himself. Alfaðör uses a magical scepter called Celestial Gungnir as his weapon.
