Backstory: Born the oldest child to a stay at home wife and a blue collar car mechanic in a small town in Minnesota, Alex was given the love and care that every child deserved growing up. Taught with modern, progressive values and a great sense of how he should treat and be treated by others, he thrived as the older caretaker for the children in the neighborhood. His sister Jasmine was born when Alex was four, and from that moment on, he fell in love with the idea of protecting others, the ones he cared about and especially the ones that couldn't fight back. Despite his upbringing, Alex dealt with severe anger and temper problems, getting into fights at school and getting suspended constantly, snapping at his own friends for rearranging things that he spent several minutes fixing, getting physically violent with anyone who put their hands on his sister. Just shy of pulling him out of the school system, his parents didn't know what to do with their unruly child-- worried that they were failing as parents. When Alex hit puberty, everything went into a hellscape for him; the intense feelings of not understanding his own body, the thoughts of feeling as if something was wrong because he didn't feel like he was who he wanted to be, stopped being solely internal and became a 'problem' for everyone. At the age of thirteen, Alex's parents decided to find him a therapist. Alex hated the therapy and the doctor, but learned the word 'transgender', and the meaning of it felt like it finally fit him. Alex wouldn't come out publicly until he was sixteen, going through several identity crises before then. But it was when Alex was fourteen that he started channeling some of his anger through music, and he had seen in passing a music video for Twenty One Pilots 'Ride'; seeing the drummer in all his power, the sheer concentration and blatant love that he held for the instrument he was wielding changed something in Alex. Not only did he develop an intense crush towards Josh Dun, but he had an extreme want to do what he was doing. So on his next birthday, his parents surprised him with a used drum set and a set of lessons. From then on Alex had finally found something to channel the anger and the worry into; he took his drumming very seriously, and in turn, started to do better in school. When he came out as a trans man later on, his parents accepted him and loved him just as they did before, though struggled very much with calling him the right name and pronouns-- they still do it by accident after ten years, but are quick to correct themselves. His sister Jasmine was thrilled and understanding, more concerned at the time if that meant she could take all of his 'feminine' clothes. After graduating from school, Alex started to work odd jobs to pay for his own place and start HRT, though he ultimately ended up working in his dad's garage and renting a studio apartment. It was when he was twenty-one, having been on testosterone for a year and still drumming, that he found a flyer in the city for a new band looking for a drummer-- someone who can deal with chaos and caffeine induced hysteria preferred. He went to the dingy music store where he met Christian and Fabian, two men much older and much broader than he was. After making sure it wasn't a poorly attempted kidnapping scam, he played for them, and the rest was history. Occupation: Works part-time at his dad's mechanic garage. Relationships:

• Brian and Fiona Watson - parents, Alex loves them deeply but has a hard time showing it outwardly. He goes to family dinner every Monday at their house.
• Jasmine Watson - sister, 21. The bright sunshine to Alex's quiet darkness. He hangs out with her often, looks more like a bodyguard than a brother.
• Christian - Begrudging best friend. Christian is there the most for Alex when he's experiencing dysphoria, or getting into his head about the future and what'll happen after he passes. Alex finds him annoying and exhausting but never kicks him out.
• Fabian - Fabian and Alex have a close understanding of one another, and Alex has gotten physical with fans/hecklers for trying to put their hands on Fabian mid-set. Alex has a deep respect for him, and they often sit together outside of the practice space and drink lukewarm beers together, Alex listening quietly as Fabian talks about whatever. Alex has a deep love for the Romanian food that Fabian cooks from his grandmother's cookbook.
• Milo - Alex was deeply untrusting of Milo when they first met, unsure of if it was a good idea to bring in a random stranger after four years of being a trio. When he got to know him though, Alex quickly became fond of Milo, joking that 'maybe it's good we have a legal advisor for CC'. They bonded over their shared love for their siblings; Alex with his sister and Milo with his older brother, and Alex is the first person to keep an eye on Milo when he notices that he's been popping pills.
