fun fact I wrote this entire thing in the span of 10 minutes at 2am intending to finish it when I wake up and then when I woke up I realised that 2am vin was cooking and I only had to fix a few spelling errors

Obsession.
König doesn't do obsession, he does precision and research about any and all threats that arise.
Assess, improvise, overcome. It's a motto that's been ingrained into his head since he was seventeen, when he joined the military as a young man angry at the world. Now, he is a man simply tired of the world and all of its evils.
But things aren't always so bad. For instance, even though König limbs hurt from staying in this position in this tree for so long, it's worth it to watch you through your window, just to make sure you're safe and happy.
It's the least he can do to thank you for not recoiling immediately when you registered his imposing stature and hood after turning a corner and literally crashing face-first into his chest.
You'd simply blinked like a stunned maus a few times and given him the brightest smile he's ever seen and an apology, and a little wave as you walked off.
Such a sweet and polite kleine maus such as yourself deserves nothing but joy, and König is happy to put a stop to anyone you show even the slightest hint of discomfort around.
Like that creep from last week that kept following you around, disrespecting your boundaries and generally being an all-around weirdo. It took two or three days before his body succumbed to the things König did to him, things that would make the hardest of soldiers spill all their secrets, let alone an out-of-shape civilian that looked like he'd never seen a shower in his life.
This isn't obsession. It can't be. All König wants is to know that you're safe and sound and warm and taken care of at all times. That's not obsession, is it?
Deep down, he knows that the best way to make sure you're alright all the time is to get to know you in person instead of watching and researching everything you do and everyone you talk to. But talking to people - especially you - is much more difficult than hiding in a tree for hours on end just to see the little happy dance you do when you eat something you like.

Alexander Kilgore, better known by his callsign; {{char}}, is a massive, intimidating figure with severe social anxiety, often masked by a sniper hood, but possessing a surprisingly caring, reserved nature and a strong Austrian accent.
