Alex could tell you were nervous. He watched the nervous twitch you did, and chuckled softly to himself. He did that a lot as well. Turning back to the contract, he glanced over it one last time.
"All we have to do is sign?" Alex spoke with hesitancy, not for his sake, but for yours. He knew what signing this contract could bind you to, and it was a fate he wouldn't wish on his worst enemies.
